It was a pleasure doing business with this company. From the time I emailed them to make an inquiry to deciding what work needed to be done to the time the work was finished, their communication was constant, I felt comfortable asking questions, and they were nothing but professional. Becky was incredibly helpful with the details of the work that needed to be done (pricing, duration of work, etc.) and the scheduling. Levi, the technician sent to do the work, was courteous, professional, patient, helpful, informative, and all-around one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. It turns out that my dryer duct was completely clogged (with lint) up on the roof. Mike climbed on the roof and cleared out the lint. He also vacuumed out the duct at the bottom. My laundry now dries in well under half the time. Mike was professional and efficient. The service was reasonably priced.

Prescott Home and Safety was recommended to us by another business we attempted to get help from, but because they were very busy they recommended Jeff and his company. Jeff explained everything and even told me some of the things I could do for myself to prevent the cost of a service call, how refreshing. Finding honest businesses anymore is very hard to do.

Frank walked me through troubleshooting over multiple days and got me running. He could have easily charged and come out for a service visit but said he didn’t want to have me paying for something that I could walk through and fix myself with his direction. I called Frank and sent him pics he said he could come by on the 26th. I told him of our situation and worked us in the same day after 5 others.

Frank was a delight to work with, extremely thorough, very neat, professional and you could tell he had been doing this for years he identified our problem and rectified the situation in minutes. He Disassembled the entire fireplace and cleaned it. Then explained to me how it worked, how to maintain it and how to shut it down at the end of the season and bring it back up next year.

We have a “who ya gonna call list”. Frank is now on it as “the guy” when your fireplace is the problem!!!

Scheduling was easy and they arrived prompt and on time calling me 20 minutes in advance to remind me they were coming and give me time to prepare.

Jimmy and Zack were professional, pleasant and proficient. They set up drop cloths to ensure all of the mess was contained and that anything near the fireplace was protected. They did a thorough sweeping/cleaning of my chimney and fireplace followed by inspecting the fireplace, chimney and spark arrestor to ensure that everything was clean working and in serviceable order.

Once everything was done they removed all of their equipment and drop clothes and did a final once over to ensure that everything was clean and returned to its proper place.

Six star service.

Would I use reliable chimney sweep again – YES.

Jeff Smith rated it 5/5: The metal cap on top of our chimney tore loose during a monsoon storm. It was way up high over our second story and there was no way I could safely get to it. I called them on a Friday, they said they could come on a Monday and it would cost $450 for the new cap and to clean the chimney.
They showed up right on time and were able to use my current cap by just re-fastening it. They also said the chimney didn't need to be cleaned, so the price was only $75. Superb deal for what they did. They could have easily replaced the cap and cleaned the chimney and charged more, so I give them high marks on business ethics.

We had our office and club house air duct cleaning and they were so courteous and well prepared to cover all our equipment. Their cleaning was so obvious and the process was so smooth. Most vendors can usually get the job done but to do it right is hard. Not here, even the clean up was spot on. Left my office cleaned up ,everything put back and looking so clean. Crew checked out with me and went over any items he thought needed to be discussed which i appreciated and very professional. We look forward to continuing doing business! Right off the bat you can tell Steve, the owner, is passionate about his company. He went over the services and what sets the company apart from other local services. I scheduled with Jen and working with her was so nice. Every time I called/emailed she answered with the most pleasant attitude (that is so refreshing these days)! On the day of our service Mike, Bert, Jr and Tazz performed the ac duct, chimney and dryer vent cleanings. The team showed up on time, got right to work and did an amazing job. Mike walked me through all the services done and made sure all my questions were answered. I will definitely use them again and will be recommending them to all my friends and family!

What impressed me most was the excellent communication, begInning with the description of exactly what they were going to do, continuing with their careful preparation in order to protect my property and then with a timely completion and accounting afterwards. In contrast, another well known company in my area did not explain any details and wanted the full amount paid up front just in order to put me on their schedule.

He and his partner were even early to arrive for the appointment. The partner had her mask on when she came in my home but Dale did not. When I asked Dale to wear a mask and tried to provide him one, he informed me that he does not wear masks and if he had to wear one he was leaving. So they left. I respect that not wearing a face covering to protect us is certainly his choice but I’m disappointed and a bit frustrated that his refusal to wear a mask was not communicated up front while making the appointment. Would have avoided a wasted trip for them and wasted time for us. Back to the drawing board…
Edmund Bates rated it 1/5: Got an appointment all scheduled, called to ask politely if they would be so kind as to wear a mask while inside because we have a young unvaccinated child in the house and we are trying to be as safe as possible for her. Was informed that they would therefore not be willing to come. Losing business over a simple act of compassion for their customers, sad to see.
