Following a poorly executed move and several weeks in bed with COVID, we were living in a survival mentality, toddler+4 pets (including 1 big puppy!) tornado zone that as an adult with mental health disorders was proving impossible for me to tame. Out of concern for my child's health (as well as our own) I called Marissa and explained we were getting desperate. She was so kind and understanding when I showed her a video of the disaster we were living in. Not quite "Hoarders" level, but "pre-hoarders" due to the amount of clutter and trash that had built up in our home. Many cleaning services expect a certain standard of "pre-cleanliness" before they'll come work and our home definitely didn't qualify. Marissa understood we were in a tough place and she and her team were gracious and not judgmental AT ALL. I told Marissa to be blunt with me to help me help them get our house clean that day, and she wasted no time giving me advice and her thoughts on things we should keep or get rid of and what we should do moving forward so our house didn't become such a disaster again. For the amount of mess plus the square footage of our house, I was really pleased (and honestly a little shocked) at their reasonable pricing (we're a one-income middle class family, so an outrageous cleaning bill wasn't in our budget!) I've scheduled them to come monthly for a general/routine cleaning to help keep us on track, but not once did I feel like I was being judged or looked down on for the state of our home. Sometimes just taking the step to get help is all it takes and for their level of professionalism, service, compassion and pricing, you cannot find better. Trust me. If you are an adult with ADD/ASD, depression, or other mental health disorders, and getting your house clean is a struggle like it is for me, I highly recommend Marissa and OCD Cleaners. Don't be embarrassed, we all need a helping hand sometimes, and if you've been on the fence, consider this your nudge to take the leap and trust you're going to get the highest level of service from this company.     Anthony and Lidia are the team that usually clean our house. They are very nice and do a wonderful job, especially in the kitchen it is literally sparkling when they're finished. My favourite part of the service is the thoroughly vacuum and mopped floors. My kids love how they make the beds and put their stuffier on..such a cute touch and makes them smile.

That said, photos were sent prior to the cleaning. This was a move out cleaning so everything needed to be spotless. When I checked it, they had broken the blinds, not cleaned some cabinets, and not cleaned the walls. When I asked them to redo the cabinets, you can see the results of me cleaning them the 3rd time in the picture. I was told they don’t clean walls. They only dust and remove cobwebs. If I had known that, I would have looked for someone who was going to actually clean the house. To top it off, as I was trying to wash the walls myself after they left, I discovered they had done something to the kitchen sink which now leaks water underneath as it runs. I wish I had the same great experience everyone else seems to, but this is what happened with mine. They were very friendly, at least and cleaned the floors and sinks/toilets well.

  • Aneliz Silva rated it 2/5: I’m giving this company two stars because booking was easy and they were open on Sunday for me to speak with, but I never actually got to experience the service.

    They ask for an hour leeway time for their cleaner to arrive at your home. Our scheduled appointment was at noon. I called at 1:30 to see what was going on. They informed me the cleaner was running late because of their morning job. I understand things happen and they said the cleaner would arrive between 2:00 and 2:30. By 2:40 no one had shown up and we hadn’t received a phone call. I called again to get the status of where the cleaner was at and they stated they had “just left.” I asked how long it would take for them to arrive thinking it would be 15 minutes or so. The customer service agent said they’d be another 35-45 minutes. I decided to cancel the service at that point.

    I had this appointment booked for almost a week in advance. This was a very important service because we’re getting ready to sell our home and this was the deep clean needed right before pictures were being taken so we’ve been left king of high and dry, but I’d rather clean my home myself than give my money to a company that doesn’t even have the courtesy to call and keep us posted on the arrival time of their cleaner. I could have understood an hour late, maybe even an hour and a half, but not three hours.

    Very disappointed. I hope others have had better luck.

But, to make matters worse, they sent a report to our bank with fake images showing a clean apartment (our appliances looked nothing like the photos submitted) and said they sent 3 people to clean up and that we did a walk through and were satisfied. We were blown away to see the the fake images in the report from our bank. After, 4 months of back and forth our banks issued refunds. But I’m shocked at the level of scammery. We’ve contacted the BBB and they’ve opened up investigation.

    Update: these folks are scammers. if you want to keep you money do not work with them. they lied to us stating they had refunded our money and then told our bank that their services were proficient and that we were just unhappy. I am disgusted with this treatment. Will be reporting to the better business bureau.

    I wish I could leave 0 stars. $250 for what? Dust, coffee stains, zero cleaning of bathroom. Our home (2 br apt) was already tidy and as busy folks we hope for a deeper clean of our apartment. Y’all vacuumed and called it a day. Please give us our money back. Do not book with this company.

    I have to say that every individual cleaner who have done a deep cleaning took a couple days in any home I have had over 2,000 sq ft. So, I was happy, yet surprised when it did not take until late in the evening. I did have to point out what stood out right away when we walked through. Ms. Maria was good about correcting those things; but, I was on a call and could not do a full inspection. I really should have. Once I noticed the side of the toilet and light switches not wiped I actually decided to inspect. There was dust on furniture, windows, and baseboards not cleaned. Cabinets not wiped clean, trash can, faucets not wiped down…etc. So many things that are a part of even a standard cleaning not done.

    There seemed to have been a disconnect on the type of job being performed. It was descent, not great, for a standard job. I just need a quarterly deep clean since I keep the house clean overall. Pretty inconvenient that I have to now clean myself. Definitely a form of robbery.

    When I communicated this to the company, they emailed me 96 hrs after my cleaning and asked for photos. Then 192 hrs after the cleaning I was told to give them a date to do a redo cleaning. When I did, they told me that they only do redo cleanings after 72 hrs. That math does not add up since the request from them to give a date was 192 hrs later and, most important here, they failed to communicate the 72 hr rule. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I have to be overlooking it, maybe??

    I was offered a $70 credit towards another cleaning since I was beyond the 72 hrs that was newly presented 480 hrs later.
    Definitely way off on the credit amount and where the credit is distributed. I am confused why anyone would want to continue business when it was not done right.

  • Scott Baughman rated it 1/5: One of the cleaners did not show up a couple of weeks ago. I have asked 4 times by phone and one time by email for a refund. They charge you no matter if the cleaning person shows up or not. I have gotten not ONE response from this company since requesting a refund. Also have asked twice for a manager to call me to explain why the refund has not happened. No one has called. Find another company that is more dependable and professional.
