I never heard from Brad again or his manager. I did some research on Zerorez corporate and sent an email to the CEO and CFO. The CEO immediately responded and had his accounting department send me a $500 check for the painting work.

I don’t know why the local Zerorez branch was so difficult. Initially owning up to all the damage they caused, but then refusing to pay anything.

Bottom line, don’t use this company.

Update 11/01/22:
So I sent a quote from my painter to Ryan Curry (production manager). The quote was for sanding and painting the chunks of wood damage that they caused – $500 total. Unfortunately, my painter had made a mistake and left a page attached on his quote for some materials for a prior job he did. I received an email from Brad Kimmell (general manager) stating my estimate doesn’t align with the damaged noted. I called Brad and explained the error on the quote and to just disregard the pages that were sent in error. I tried to explain that the quote was on the first page and noted the work and paint materials. Brad insisted that I send a corrected quote and also stated that he would need to send his own painters for an estimate. I asked who/what painting companies he used but he could not tell me. He just said “he had a couple companies” and he would need to send one of them.

Now why would I let his painters come to my house for a quote? Why would I trust them – after all, his employee completely messed up my freshly painted staircase and railings. If his company cannot even do a basic carpet cleaning then why would I trust some painter that he wants to send out?

I’m trying to be reasonable here – I just wanted my paint fixed. I didn’t even ask for a quote for to fix the chunks out of the wood.

At this point, I am waiting for Brad’s manager to call me. I am also hoping that Ryan will call me back because he told me he was the production manager and would take care of everything.

I have used this company a couple times before. I spilled coffee on my stairway carpet, so decided to get the stairs cleaned. We also had a few other rooms cleaned. Rooms look great. Stairs wouldn’t come clean – that ok because the technician tried really hard.

The reason for such a low rating – the technician damaged all my wood trim on my stairs. We just had the entire wood railing and trim painted about 1 month ago. The trim is all chipped and gouged. The technician wasn’t being careful with the equipment and everything is damaged. I never asked him to stay away from the wood trim and he still damaged everything.

I am not having to deal with the manager and trying to get them to cover the cost for the damages they caused.

The carpets smell fresh and clean! We hired Zerorez to clean our carpets before moving into our new home. They arrived on time, at a reasonable time within the time window given; they arrived at 12:15pm when I was given a window of 12-4pm arrival time, and I was so happy I didn't have to wait until 4pm for them to arrive! That alone started the experience off great! They were able to remove several stains from the previous homeowners easily, and gave us advice on how to clean some laminate adhesive off our floors from the previous homeowners. Overall 10/10 experience and will be hiring again next time we need the carpets cleaned.

Their rebuttal was “oh it was actually this date.” Here we are over a year later and I just got a collections notice. Do not use this company!

They spoke with respect and courtesy, also keeping me informed about the process/step of work that was going on. While talking to one of the employees I found out he is a former marine and combat veteran, the level of work ethic and responsibility was easy to see and knowing/finding out about the background made me feel safe and comfortable with these workers who over the course of the day would leave my home being an extended honorary member of our home and family. They were also great with my children, my daughter completely adored them. She's normally so shy it truly is a blessing these days and times to find a company with employees this dialed into to attention to detail who all at the same time are good with kids pets and just do an outstanding all around job. I'd recommend to everyone if your in need of any service they offer do yourself a solid favor and look no further they are simply the best!!!!!

    I really wanted to give them five stars. I really liked the young ladies who came. However, one was there for two hours the other was there maybe an hour. My whole house was covered in dust they did a great job on the floor but I still have so much dust on my windowsills on the top of the window some of the door frames. So I Feel like they did a very poor job. Some of the things they did excellently. I might even use them to do just general House Cleaning. But this was new construction and it was only partially done

I intend to pay it forward and I will never use another company but this one. Before you choose another company you really need to think about if you want to company cares about their customers or not. Contacted the company on day of scheduled service. They appeared caught off guard by my phone call and appointment, asked how I booked, then said they couldn't do service that day… Only an estimate. If you are going to schedule, make sure you call them by phone. It appears their online booking is either not accurate or no one checks it. The gentleman on the phone also insisted that estimates need to be done first, and service should not be done on the same day. Then why advertise that on the website and allow it to be booked??

When contacted to inform them the items were stolen, they implied she misplaced all three in a drain. The rings were in one spot when the cleaners started and were gone when they left. No remorse or assistance from the company responsible for employing thieves. Do not hire them unless you want the possibility of being robbed.

  • Ross Fine rated it 1/5: I hired this service to do a move out clean for a rental property I was staying in. I already moved out this house when I hired the company. First impressions were great! The Vice President of the company, Meredith Lowman, came out to the residence and gave me a customized quote. She did a walk through the house and explained everything they were going to clean to include dusting light fixtures, ceiling fans, vents, vacuuming, etc. (see photo). I even paid for extra services that the rental company requires. So in that regard I give Meredith 5 stars for customer service.

    Execution however is atrocious. Telia was the cleaner. She came out 11/4 at 9am saying “this won’t take long”. I went to work to let her do her job and after work I returned to the residence. What I found was not what was agreed upon and what I paid for. I left a review with the company and provided them pictures of the poor work their cleaner did. 0/5 stars (Pictures attached) The counters were wiped off, but a blue stain was left in a kitchen counter, the kitchen appliances were wiped, a floor was mopped, but that’s about it. Nothing else was completed on their list.

    A couple days later Jennifer and Meredith got back to me and wanted to rectify the situation. So they moved things around to get Telia back out to clean the residence again. Only this time Meredith would come check on her periodically to verify everything was done properly. So at 9am on the 7th, I let Telia back in the house and proceeded to go to work. After work I returned and check the house. To my surprise the job STILL WASN’T FINISHED. (See pictures) 90% on the list was finally done, but vents weren’t wiped, a baseboard in the master bath wasn’t done, a light fixture still had dust on it, and NOTHING WAS VACUUMED.

    Friday 11/8, I talked to Meredith on the phone. She asked how things were and I told her “for the services you provided and the things you cleaned, it looks great! However there are things that weren’t done still.” Meredith then proceeded to get defensive and tell me how she “knows everything was done” because she checked it personally, she then asked what wasn’t finished and I told her nothing was vacuumed as there was 10x more foot traffic across all the carpets than after the first time they finished cleaning. (See pictures) Meredith became extremely defensive and proceeded to tell me that Telia vacuumed the room behind her as she stepped out of the room. The problem is that not what the pictures show. Vacuuming is not something you can fake or lie about either! BECAUSE either you did it and it shows, or you didn’t and there are footprints all over!! Because of the poor customer service and refusal to acknowledge that your company still didn’t provide proper services, I give you 1/5 stars.

    Lastly, Meredith did finally give in and offer to send another cleaner over to the residence a THIRD time, but I decided to refuse. The company hasn’t even tried to discount the cleaning from their repeated failures and refund money from work they never did… I lost all faith in the “best rated cleaning company in Indianapolis” after they failed to do the job properly the second time. So I went over there on my last day of having keys and vacuumed the entire place myself. Take a look at the pictures yourself and make your own decision if the carpets were vacuumed or not. All pictures were taken after they “finished” cleaning from both times. I 100% do NOT recommend this company as I have never had a worse experience with a “professional cleaning company” and they will never get my business again.
