I had scheduled the ultimate carpet cleaning for my home two weeks in advance. The day of the cleaning I was called 3 hours early asking if they could come early to their appointment. I hadn't been expecting them so early, so was unable to move all the furniture to accommodate their request. I was then told if I could not take the new appointment time, they would cancel my appointment and I would have to reschedule. I had taken the day off of work for this appointment, so I rushed around the house in order to get it ready in the 20 minute time frame they gave me.

Once at my house the gentlemen tried to convince me to choose a different package than the one I scheduled because it required them to get a different machine off the truck than just the wand they normally used, and they told me that it takes more effort on their part (seriously). I assured them that I wanted to stick with the $500 package I booked and they began the service. Once completed I noticed their were discolored "swirls" all along the carpet. I asked them about this and was assured that the swirls would go away once the carpets dried and settled…

I followed directions and did as the website recommended, and a month later noticed that the swirls were still prominent. I continued to vacuum in a hopes that it would dissipate, however it did not.

I called the company and explained the situation, and was assured they would come out to rectify it. They scheduled an appointment for a week out. I prepared the house and moved all the furniture for a SECOND time. Once they showed up, they told me that they would NOT be able to honor what was told to me over the phone, and instead could "give me a discount" on an additional carpet cleaning.

Not only did I pay $500 for them to ruin my carpet, but they tried to get me to pay more in order for them to fix their mistake. When I asked why, they told me that I could have "thrown a party where the swirls were created".

Do yourself a favor and find another business that honor their work.

He was professional, courteous, did a wonderful job, and went above and beyond. We got our grout and tile cleaned and sealed as well. We ended up upgrading to the permanent sealer when he was here, when he realized he didn’t have the color we wanted he called the office and had them bring it out. He moved stuff around for us as we were limited on free space. He explained everything in great detail and was very knowledgeable. He was here for 5 hours making sure everything was done correctly and it turned out great! I’m very happy with our service and even more happy with Maurice. We’ll be requesting him every time!

We paid for deodorizing, but not certain we got it from the smell the next day. I have been impressed with results from Stanley Steemer before. I'm not as impressed this time, but it may be time for new carpet, so I'm not certain the tech could have done any better. I just wish the smell was as good as the rest of the job.
Update: Once everything dried out, the smell was much better and noticeably deodorized. The manager called me to make it right, but I told him all was well now and that we likely should replace the carpet. Our dog has gone thru some old age changes this year that really did a number on our carpets. That number being both No.1 & No.2 as well as barf. She's feeling better now, but I think we'll put off new carpet until she's resting peacefully. That may be a while tho 'cause she is still very playful and happy. She's a good girl, poor dear.

The lead person that day and every clean since was and remains Isabella. She is pleasant, communicates well with her co-workers, and is a hard-worker. Isabella gets five stars in my book. Rowan has become the person who works regularly here with Isabella. Rowan is eager for feedback, conscientious, and very sweet, and it’s great to see that the girls work well together. Why not a five star review for MaidPro? I think when you start with a new service like this there can be hiccups at the start, a getting to know each other period for is and for them. My contractor recommended First Call Cleaning and Restoration as the best place to call. Carl & Charlie arrived as promised, took care of the mold, cleaned, sanded, dried out the walls and left the infected area perfect! Carl made himself available for any questions I might have after he left for the day. He also helped me get a bird out the front door one day! I would highly recommend First Call Cleaning & Restoration to anyone who would need their services. Mold remediation is not the only service offered: water damage, carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning are available.

First Call Cleaning and Restoration is always there for our needs at Edgewater At Virginia Lake Apartments. They help us daily with carpet cleans, they are very accommodating to any schedule changes we may have and are able to get the toughest stains out. They are also very communicative and will inform us if a carpet is not savable per their professional opinions so we may then do a replacement. They have also been right on water loss jobs that we have experienced from a resident accident creating a leak helping immediately to extract water and start drying to reduce the amount of loss for us. They have done such a good Job we have referred them to our sister properties and they have been helping them out too! Great service all around!

I was looking for a company here in Reno to help with some deep cleaning to refresh my carpet, rugs and flooring after all the snow, mud, dirt and junk they have been exposed to over the winter months. I made one call to First Call Cleaning & Restoration and I am so glad I did.

They had a crew out to me quick, on time and got my carpets and rugs looking good as new in a flash. They also helped deep clean some wood floors and surfaces, as well as my garage floor, which was something I have been dreading doing myself – but thanks to FCCR I no longer have to!

I am an OCD clean freak with very high standards when it comes to cleanliness. As you can imagine, its hard for me to release control to others but FCCR truly are professionals and I will trust them over and over with my cleaning or restoration needs.

Thanks to the FCCR crew for an A+ job.. 🙂

I have saved RING videos of these guys cursing me and my house for a job that should have been solved in 7-10 days. Multiple personal items destroyed in the process. Find another company and save your sanity. Unprofessional and incompetent are the best adjectives for these guys

Spilled food by the old man, potty training issues with puppy, upset stomach in older dog, need I say more? I now know why Carpet Tender is booked up in advance – they are GREAT! Greg was professional, efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate. I also dropped off a cashmere Turkish area rug to be cleaned – that will be reviewed separately after I pick it up. I am expecting it to be amazing!

Jeff Weinert rated it 5/5: We had a problem with how a seam turned out, and after seeing a comparison seam, in a different room (they did our whole house) we wanted that same look. I commend Joe, who was dedicated to get it right –who after several fixes later, ended up having the room redone. By the way, Joe can patch a carpet problem with surgical precision. I would have never believed it possible, but I saw him do it.
I also was impressed with the installers Mike and Nick who are nice guys; experienced, happy, helpful in moving furniture, polite, professional, and they work together well. The two struggled and toiled to get the room redo right which was no small feat. They successfully pulled of 5! seams (as opposed to 1) with the carpet being set with a 90 degree turn so the seams lay in different locations and direction. This allowed the seams to not catch the light as much and not be in the middle of the room. Our carpet choice was particularly difficult as it is a wavy pattern and also very light in color. Happy ending; every time we go upstairs, we just love it!
