We have used York twice over the past 2 months for relatively minor work (Outdoor light install and ceiling fan replacement and install) and am extremely pleased with the all around quality of service. In both cases, they were responsive, professional and reasonably priced. It didn't matter how small of a job, as they treated me with the same quality service regardless of if it was a small or large job. The most recent work was performed by Shawn and Dennis. They had to come twice (first to install new box and second to install fan) to finish the job because I had purchased an incorrect ceiling fan. They honored the original quote and did not charge me for coming back, even though I purchased the wrong fan. Both times they were available either the same day or next day from the day I made the appointment. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. They clearly explained the work that needed to be done in easy-to-understand layman's terms. They were respectful and cleaned up thoroughly after completing the job. I have additional work needing to be done in the next several months and am happy to have finally found a reliable electrician.

He arrived in less than 15 minutes, inspected the electrical panel, suggested the best location where the charger should be installed, and gave me a very reasonable price.
He said he would call me to schedule the installation by later today.
I am amazed by his quick response and courteous and professional service. I will keep you updated after the installation.

It was already late in the day when we encountered a problem with the electrical in one room. Two out of three room outlets were out and it cut off power to parts of the kitchen and bathroom. No one was seemed to be available or wanted to deal with that during the night. I liked the other reviews here for York so I decided to give it a final try. They answered, and I am grateful. After my son gave them as best an explanation possible of the situation as he could, they explained how the service would work and their availability. They got someone out to me that same night.
Dennis and everyone at York are some of the most polite and professional people I have had the pleasure of calling in on a job. My son guided them through the situation so they could assess and determine a course of action. They were beyond patient and very dedicated to making sure the issue was resolved. My son was very impressed with how they conduct themselves. Think of that quick sand moment where one thing goes wrong and then another and another. That overwhelmed feeling as a homeowner or property manager? It was put completely at ease. Dennis arrived with a fully loaded vehicle ready to tackle nearly anything. Even at a late hour York Electrical performed their repairs as if it was the first job of the morning.

Everything was resolved. It was an adventure, but the job was done. Outlets were all back in working order and the other areas had power restored as well. The work was looked over and checked more than once to make sure we were left without any further issues. The prices were very fair and I am already telling friends and family about them. I hope this review convinces somewhere out there who may be hesitant to give York Electrical Contractors a try. I know I will be calling them again if I ever have a future repair, upgrade or installation need.

I was expecting to have to wait much longer, but he was at our apartment within 2-3 hours and done with the job quickly after that. The first time we used this company, we needed to have a TV shifted after we didn't install it well ourselves. We were very happy they could wrap the wires for us, too. (We didn't want the wires behind the walls, though this is an option they offer.)
This second time, we wanted a TV mounted in our home office and another in our bedroom, plus sound bar. They did both in about two hours. Looks great, much easier than trying to do it ourselves, since we're not a very handy couple. Amazing work and amazing experience! 5 stars.

What I truly like about the staff is when they came out the fist of two times the electrician was trying his best to prevent having to go into the wall and install a new wire. I was with him every step of the way and I can honestly say that the old wiring could not be saved/repaired.
