We had to replace one and the manufacturer said it was discontinued so my Mother n law had to buy two since she wasn’t paying attention and backed up and cut the laser beam before the door stopped at the top and the door started back down as she was backing out and her fin on her car bent the door beyond repair 🤦‍♂️ but accidents happen and with her quite often but we love her regardless.

Would have been 5 stars for this organization but the scheduler/receptionist did not accurately explain how the trip charge worked. Rather than being applied to our total bill it covers the first only 15 minutes of labor. This added at least $60 to the total bill beyond what I expected/estimated based on the updates about cost and time I received throughout the visit from the technician.

He is also a SUPER nice guy! He heard a familiar sound in the garage of my 7yo daughter's rock tumbler. He told me that he hunts and polishes rocks as a hobby as well. On his breaks he searched through our landscaping and found a handful of rocks from my daughter to polish on her next go around. She'll be THRILLED!

The door seals perfectly with no possibility of water leakages and rust like my previous one. They also gave me helpful tips for maintenance. One of the sidings was short in the first installation. So they came back and replaced that part as well. Very professional and satisfying work. Would recommend.

The tech was so friendly and explained everything to me. He gave info on what maintenance looks like and what our next replacement would likely be. The day of work required almost nothing from me. Those were some bigs positives from the experience.

Two negatives were that (1) the back-ordered trim caused them to install 4-5 weeks after their originally estimated timeline, and in total it was more than 2 months from placing the order until it was installed. (2) After the work was complete, our garage had a significant smoky smell. There is a possibility that my neighbor smoked while I was away at work and that caused the smoky smell, but I would suggest the more likely option was that the man who did the installation of my garage door was smoking.
I cannot say for sure, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after the installation was complete.

We went with a moderately insulated door just to help keep our detached garage a bit warmer, and so far it has been incredible. It handles the cold with no issue, it runs silently and smoothly, the window panes (new for us) allow for light inside and a better curb appeal, and overall the tear down/install process was seamless. It was one day of work, and a great price!

Not only were they prompt, but the technician Joe Schwartz knocked everything out extremely quick and was informative along every bit of the way. We do greatly appreciate the tutorials and run-throughs of all the new features and getting everything back to normal. Definitely will be keeping his card for any services we will need in the future. Great work!!! Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Expectations were managed well over the phone when I was told that it might take a few hours for a technician to arrive and try wonderfully it was only a couple hours until one did arrive. This, despite the snow that was falling!

The technician- Joe – was delightful. He was respectful, knowledgeable, and a Veteran! The cost for repairs was thankfully low (the issue turned out to not be serious).

I enthusiastically recommend that if you’re having garage door issues that you use Rise & Shine!

Jamison did a great job installing it. he was timely in completing the job and very friendly and professional. He presented the options and was very honest about which ones I needed and which I didn't. He steered me in a good direction and even advised that I not choose one option because it was "overkill" for my specific door. That's honesty and integrity I can respect and tell others about. He wasn't trying to just get me to buy the most expensive things they had to offer. I felt no pressure and he even waited in his truck for 10 minutes or so while I made a decision to go with them or buy my own motor and do it myself. The garage door works great and we are thoroughly satisfied with the service we received.

From the phone, where you are met with a friendly representative, to the voicemail rooster – they offer great customer service. On top of that, they schedule an appointment right away. The technician, Jordy, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in explaining all of our issues and even suggested potential items we could fix in the future. In about an hour they fixed our door better than it's ever been before. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs garage door repair and would definitely add them to my contact list.

He even prepared a 39 point checklist about the condition of our garage; that's something we never even heard of before. We have used other places in the past, and they made so many mistakes. Rise and Shine stands so far above the competition; it isn't even a fair comparison. It's no wonder they get 5 star reviews. Try them out; you won't regret it.

My partner had to help with this because he couldn’t get the cutter pulled shut to snap off the lock by himself. Why wasn’t a bolt cutter tried within the first few minutes? Why did this service cost almost $400? In addition, the email, invoice, and charge on my bank account say nothing about “TC Garage door Repair and Locksmith” as an identifying factor for this business. The phone number on the invoice does not match what’s on the website. I emailed the owner of this business about my concerns and they did not care. Said “I’ll look into it” and I never heard back. Will not use this company again. There are numerous other options out there. I went with them because of the reviews on here and their location to the storage unit.
