With 2 cars inside the garage, he made sure he had space to work on. He gave me an estimate and upon approval, he proceeded to perform his task. Replacing the broken spring with 2 new springs . Adjusted the torque setting. Operational test was satisfactory.

Our garage door broke in the middle of the operation and crumpled in its place. Pro-Tech came out and replaced the entire assembly and fixed everything we ever disliked about our garage door. The new garage door is way more secure with the automatic deadbolt when it closes. The garage is more insulated than I ever thought possible. All of the parts are new and tuned perfectly. The opening and closing are silent; the only thing you hear is the forceful thud of the deadbolt locking itself when the door closes. I had no idea I could be so happy with a garage door.

Sam and Tim were available right away. I called a couple of companies, and most did not even call me back, but even those who did were not prepared to take action right away. Sam came out to my house immediately to help me get the garage door repaired and earned a lifetime of referrals from me, my family, and friends.

I called Rockstar Garage Door Services right around then hoping to schedule same-day repairs. They sent out a repairman by around 2:30, and he finished the repairs within 30 minutes! It cost $111 for parts and $150 for the service, which seems fair compared to similar services. The invoice also says it has a warranty of "1 year installed parts and 60 days labor", which is nice! Highly recommend for quick, smooth, and professional garage door repairs

I was told that my door was in stock prior to submitting the 50% down payment. I was also sold on the scope of work would which should include the facia to cover the 2×4 going across the heading. But it did not end up in the contract, and Radford did not complete the work as promised.

Lessons learned: make sure you have the lead time and finish work (spelled out and highlighted) on your contract before you commit with the down payment. That should be for anything that you request.

Now, after four month of wait, I still have to finish the work they didn’t complete as agreed.

After some investigation, I picked Radford Garage Doors. I expected good service and got EXCELLENT service. We had a little problem, as the door had to be ordered and was stuck on a ship. Since there were hundreds of ships waiting in a queue at San Pedro Harbor, we simply had to wait. Radford stayed in touch with me, so I never worried about it. When they got the garage door, everything went smoothly. I was completely impressed. I believe that the manner in which a company handles a glitch, says a great deal about them. And they handled the glitch very professionally. I would recommend them highly.

We first had them out to take a look at our existing door for some maintenance and got a quote for replacement. When it came time to replace our door, the sales guy was extremely professional. Had samples, had the ability to put the garage door we liked in a computer program that showed us what it looked like on our house, and didn't try to up-sell us on anything. The door is amazing and was installed very quickly and efficiently.

I called Precise just to replace a broken spring, but Sam pointed out a few other problems—things I suspected but never bothered to fix. He replaced the springs, cable rollers, cables and side rollers and the difference is amazing. All that old junk was putting a lot of strain on the motor,and it rattled and banged all the way up and down. No more. Precise was quick to call me back, quick to get someone out here on a Sunday morning. And Sam was quick, efficient and professional. His advice was excellent but he didn’t push any sales on me. Ask for him when you call.

He immediately located the problem, then obtained the parts and completed the repair. Then he adjusted and lubricated the entire door mechanism. By 3:30 he was finished and the door was working better than before it seized. I could not be more impressed.
