He could not identify the problem, therefore, he could not fix it. He said the door needed several parts that were expensive, which I did not need at all. He returned the following week and was still not successful. He then left and I called another garage door company, and the door was fixed in minutes, and has been working perfectly since. Unfortunately, I tried to call Elite and speak to the owner so that he could refund my money, and the technician answered the phone and said they do not give refunds. Ripped Off! Don’ t use this company, they leave a lot to be desired, still keep your money.

Much more recently, I was almost going to order new doors from them, when, without getting into all the details, they explained why doing that would not really solve my problem, some other solution would be better. In other words, they talked themselves out of an order because it wouldn’t be in my interest. Companies that look at things from the customer’s point of view are very rare. These people are both very competent and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

When you find 90 on the wall their office is just around the corner in the same building but a few doors around that corner. Worth the trip. Friendly, knowedgeable and very helpful. I got just what I needed and an invitation to call back for phone help if needed. I fully reommend them.
Rhesa Olsen rated it 5/5: I had American Home Shield which did not do a good job AT ALL of replacing the quality of the Garage Door Opener that I had, nor the # of manual clickers I had – AHS has turned into a company of not helping at the level they SHOULD, but at the level of what’s cost effective for them. When I contacted ALways Open & Shut Garage Door & explained my dissatisfaction after my disastrous experience & phone conversations with AHS, Always Open & Shut was MOST helpful in figuring out a way that I could get the quality I had (& the # of manual clickers I had). Macy politely listened to my issues & spoke with her manager & then discussed with me in a very considerate manner what their proposals were. I called just now – someone is coming to my home tomorrow. I am very happy with ALways Open & Shut Garage Doors (not at all happy, & in fact cancelling, with American Home Shield).

I loved that I could request an appt through their website…and the response time was fast and friendly. Our tech was prompt, also very friendly, highly skilled and efficient…he even checked over the whole door, not just the part he repaired. He even did a detailed cleaning after he was finished. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Vortex…I was very impressed…and we will use them in the future every time..

Great communication with the office, prompt and very professional service. The repairman made sure not only was the job done but he went above and beyond making sure everything was done properly and even improving the way the door closed. He was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend them to anyone!

The techs were early for the repair service and called beforehand to make sure I was ready for the appointment, had excellent explanations, walkthrough, and communication all along the way. They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently, and answered all our questions.On top of all of this, they did a simple repair on a couple of our doors for free and didn’t charge us for parts or labor. Again, amazing quality and customer service! We DEFINITELY will be using Vortex Doors again in the future for all our commercial door service needs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
