I wasn’t home when the crew came, my husband was. The crew was friendly when they arrived. They didn’t say anything when they were done, they just left. Not sure if this is typical or not. Expectations were bathrooms, kitchen countertops, cabinets, appliances, vacuuming, cleaning baseboards, & light dusting. I’m not sure what they dusted, as we have no furniture in yet. They don’t like to touch blinds and they were filthy still so I don’t think they were dusted. I would say some stuff looked clean (toilets, some cabinets) but our refrigerator, baseboards, and carpets is where I’m disappointed the most. The refrigerator still had stuff in it, the baseboards still had pet hair on them, and the carpets (see pic) were still terrible. I could see vacuum lines but their vacuum must not really pick up anything. That pic was just from our family room alone. We were just disappointed because we thought we were paying for a deep clean to save us some time on our move-in. We’re actually still having to clean before we move in. Wish I would’ve researched a little more for a company that does actual deep cleaning.

When I said payment was unnecessary. The value was in its sentimental value, the lead cleaner lectured me about putting away valuable things before they came to clean. The exchange on both sides was heated but it's her job to satisfy the customer and not lecture and argue. Also many items were not put back where they belong. I pointed that out and that cleaning rags and scrubbers and a beverage container were left in the kitchen sink (after being told that they were totally finished). The girl in training was quiet and apologetic. The lead was abrasive.
Otherwise the quality of their work was very good.

Maid For Homes is unprofessional and incompetent.
I scheduled a partial cleaning for a guest bedroom, living room/kitchen, and powder room for Wednesday, January 25th from 8AM to 9AM. It was suggested by the company that I book for a 3-hour cleaning. I keep my house relatively tidy, so the work was minimal. I explained that 3 hours was excessive for how small the job was (clean toilet, mop living room/kitchen floors, wipe oven, wipe table/counters), but I was assured that whatever time wasn’t used, the price could be adjusted and I would be credited. This was reasonable, so after putting my credit card on file, I awaited the service the following day. 8AM to 9AM came and went without any form of contact or notification from the cleaners nor the company. After extending a grace period of 15 minutes, I took the initiative to contact Maid For Homes via phone. I explained to them that no one had arrived as scheduled and that no one notified me of any delays, cancellations, or emergencies. Maid For Homes claimed that their employee hadn’t notified them of being absent from the job that day and assured me that they would get to the bottom of why they hadn’t heard from their employee. While this course of action may satisfy the inquires Maid For Homes had related to their employees being compliant with the conduct expected within their organization, it does not address the matter that the organization has no system in place to function as a liaison between their employees and their customers to communicate time sensitive information. Maid For Homes offered a rescheduling (at full price) for the following day, Thursday, January 26th (with no reassurance that a similar situation wouldn’t occur). The following day, the cleaners arrived on time and completed the work within 90 minutes. The quality of their work was on par with a partial cleaning and satisfactory. I contacted Maid For Homes to notify them of the timeline to adjust the price as previously discussed. Brushing past my request, the customer service representative began to recite a survey on the quality of the service from that day. After answering their questions and regaining their focus on my questions, they told me that they do not credit the difference in time and that regardless of what is scheduled the entire time is paid in full. Additionally, regardless of a partial-cleaning or a deep-cleaning, Maid For Homes does not book for less than 2.5 hours. In essence, after explaining my needs and the light workload, I was upsold to 3 hours of work despite only needing 1.5 hours. They asked who I spoke to the first time, but seeing as I had called multiple times to address their absence, I had spoken to multiple people. They said they would pull up my file and get back to me. Today is Monday, January 30, and I still hadn’t received a phone call back from them. Again, I took the initiative to call them to ask them the status on crediting me to reflect the work that was done. Again, I was force fed a survey on the quality of the service from that day. Again, I redirected their attention to my questions. I was told that their manager isn’t connected to their main location and that they would have to reach out to them to see what they could do. Again, I waited for correspondence. Finally, a customer service representative contacted me saying, “we’re sorry for [the inconvenience] and we recognize your time is valuable, especially for our customers who work full-time jobs. We can credit you $20”. The total cost of the “service” was $225.00.

We’re all human; mistakes are inherent, but the key to great customer service is thoughtfulness and accountability. The two major issues were absence of service and an inaccurate representation of company policy that evolved into further lapses in communication and an abysmal offering toward customer retention.

We mentioned at the time of booking that the bathrooms were problem areas and the team made sure to thoroughly clean the toilets, showers, and tubs, and they were sparkling. There were a few areas that we had expected to be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, but as soon as we offered up that feedback to Brian and John they addressed it and sent out a team to remedy the issues the next day. Their customer service was exceptional.

We recommend discussing the services with the company before booking them so you can ensure all problem areas are covered by the team. Review the list of services on the website and ask any questions ahead of time to validate what areas will be cleaned. We could have avoided any issues by asking questions and making sure we knew what to expect.

But, with the approach of spring, I scheduled my home for a 52-Point Spring Clean–an intensive, customizable deep clean designed to leave your home just the way you want it. Today was the day and my 3-person crew showed up on time, as always, and immediately went to work tackling each job on the checklist, leaving everything clean and refreshed as they moved from room to room. They were respectful of my property and took extra care with decorative items and family photos while giving special attention to the areas I was most concerned about. I am 100% pleased with the results. As for reason number 53, it’s the excellent customer service, including ease of scheduling; prompt responses to inquiries; and friendly, professional reminders and other communications. They always show up in the time window they provide the day before and the ladies are always friendly and professional. They do an amazing job and make our house sparkle! The detail they put into literally hand-wiping every inch of our home was impressive. They regularly swapped out their cleaning cloths and were also very respectful of pets. There was no rushing, which I liked, it was more focused on quality of the job. My wife and I are incredibly picky and extremely OCD with cleaning…This team is too…Vacuuming was in nice straight tracks, wood floors looked new and there wasn’t dust anywhere. Additionally, I asked them to stay away from TVs and our desks, and they did – They have a binder with each home’s instructions. As a bonus, the owners are extremely friendly and you can tell they focus on customer service, which is a lost art these days. Highly recommend!

I reached out to Two Men for a last minute cleaning as I had zero time to prepare my home for my next guests. They were there that day (somehow they squeezed me in) and did an outstanding job. The staff was professional and my home has honestly never looked cleaner. The team went above and beyond to ensure my home was more than ready for my guests. I recently had to resign due to overwhelming amount of personal issues unsolvable at this juncture- the timing was just off- I’d like to part ways in a professional and positive manner, as well as leave my truth behind via good review.
Melissa hired me on the spot due to my extensive history with commercial and residential cleaning, as well as my motivated and passionate outlook on cleaning/cleanliness.
She never judged my cooky spirit or got frustrated with my temperament.. again- I had struggled with health issues, as well as vehicle.
I did wish to remain at this company and saw myself transitioning into higher position, but understand how life works. The clientele base was outstanding and often tipped generously. The scheduling and mapping were down to a science and even gas reimbursement was given- Mike was extremely cheerful and polite.
I unfortunately didn’t have opportunity to meet Cody or Ryan due to schedule differences but I heard nothing but great things. Plus Cody’s hot.

Aiden Green rated it 1/5: Was scheduled for this past Sunday at 8:30AM, got a text message the night before at almost midnight saying the assigned cleaner was not able to make it and would 12:30 or 3:30 work. I said 12:30 would, I was then told it would be 3:30! At 4PM i text and asked for an update on where the cleaner was, the first response was that she was lost, an hour later i was told they couldn't contact her because her phone had died!! I asked at 5 what the chances were that anyone could come, they told me chances were good, and to give them an hour! At 6PM I asked for an update and they said they couldn't get anyone out but could on Monday AM and could offer me an hours cleaning for free. I turned this down and they said i could get $25 off my next appointment. Jake the errund rep was actually very nice, communicative and helpful…but that is not helpful when i need my house cleaned!

This whole process was a nightmare, the model is flawed! Errund dont employ the cleaners so they are independent contractors, so there is very little accountability! It is a shame because the idea is a good one, but will always have issues while ever they have cleaners who dont follow through and do their job!

I wont be using this service again!

I am amazed with the service I received from Errund. They are very timley, take feedbacks seriously and answers all the questions when it comes with scheduling!

I was able to book them for Sunday afternoon and the cleaning service included cleaning one bedroom, one bathroom, and my kitchen which includes the inside of the fridge/oven. They were able to clean up all the chinchilla fur that just sits in the corner of the apartment (every pet owners worst nightmare!!) and cleaned up all the water-stains I wasn't able to remove for months.

This saved me not just few hours but felt like I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth! I would highly recommend and definitely use their services again 🙂

Stephen Jones rated it 1/5: Firstly, I typically never post reviews online. However, my experience with this company was so bad, that I felt obliged to warn others. Initially (first few months) we had a cleaner come out every 2 and she did a great job. She then left the company and we had multiple different cleaners (many of whom could not come as the time requested) and the quality varied from average to terrible. Given how far the standards had fallen, I decided to leave this cleaning service.
I went online to cancel my service (I deleted my address, the recurring service, my email and phone number) but you cannot readily delete your account. More worryingly, you cannot deleted your CREDIT CARD information from their site. I then spoke with a gentlemen from the company twice and confirmed my desire to leave. The first conversation was abrupt, he was rude and seemed mad that I wanted to leave. He then called me back ~10 minutes later to speak with me (cooling off period – I guess) but I again reiterated my desire to terminate my cleanings.

The following week, my credit card got charged full price for a cleaning when I was at work. When I got home the trash had been taken out, but there was basically no cleaning performed. I emailed the company requesting my money back and that my account (including CC details) be deleted but got a reply saying "Our policy is to have the customer go and take care of cancelling the appointment themselves".
I though 2 phone calls and cancelling online would be sufficient???

This is a company in decline with average service and even worse customer service. STAY AWAY.
