Our schedule had been a little hectic and procrastinated on calling a maid service which we knew we needed. We received a call the day of the cleaning and Elva and Angie (Team #12) arrived on time.
My wife and I did a little prep work prior to the cleaning but can say we were 100% satisfied with the initial cleaning. Bathrooms, carpeting, tile (throughout the house), kitchen and bedrooms were all professionally cleaned.

Both Elva and Angie were courteous, friendly and meticulous in their time spent at our location. We are very satisfied with Molly Maid and Team #12 and have added a cleaning every other week.

The operator was impatient taking my call several times and charged me the same amount even though they didn’t clean my master bedroom and a regular bedroom for the second time. I am just a light user of their service and I guess light users don’t deserve the same quality. I can get similar service for a much cheaper price or the same price with a much better service. Now I know that even a 4.9 rating doesn’t guarantee anything.
P.S. Following your reply, you charged me $600 for the first time, saying it's more expensive for new customers, that is fine. The first team did a great job, so I scheduled a second service in 6 weeks. I told the second team I don't need them to clean the master bedroom and another guest bedroom, yet I was still charged $500, meaning it took you $500 to clean a two-bedroom house. I never said that I need the same team all the time, I am simply stating the truth that the second team is not as good as the first one, especially when they missed a sink to clean(and other small things that I cannot remember now). I said they are good because I was trying to be nice and didn't want them to come back just for one sink. Apparently you are ignoring my point in the original review, so I am writing it in capital letters for you again. NUMBER ONE: ONE OF YOUR OPERATOR IS VERY IMPATIENT TAKING CALLS AND MAKING APPOINTMENTS. NUMBER TWO: YOUR SERVICE IS ABOVE AVERAGE, BUT YOUR PRICE IS RIDICULOUSLY BEYOND YOUR LEVEL OF SERVICE. And by the way, the reason I am writing this review two months after your service is because I let it go at the beginning, but I just found another company that is 80% of your quality but only charge 40% of your price, which brought back all the bad memories again. I am truly sorry that I am not rich enough to enjoy your service.

Akeeba Maze rated it 3/5: 3.5 stars, good job. If you grew up like I did, with your mother teaching you to clean corners with a toothbrush, you’ll probably be disappointed I with this cleaners. But if you just want it to be generally clean, they’re perfectly fine. I just realized that this is the second time we had a household have used this company. When I called and spoke with Mark I told him specifically I wanted the inside and outside of my windows cleaned, and I was dissatisfied with the company I used before who said outdoor windows was a man’s job. He laughed at this and said it was ridiculous someone would say that. Now I realized this was actually one of his crews! LOL. I don’t know if it was the same crew, but they cleaned the windows inside and out very well. I get the feeling that the lead cleaner actually knows how to clean very well, and the other ladies pretty much follow the directions. The areas I suspect the lead cleaner did are detailed, but the other areas or not. For example they did clean out my closet, but did not open the closet door to sweep behind it. Behind the toilet, and underneath the toilet seat was also not great. The bathroom was cleaned well, but residue from the cleaning agent was left in the sink. There’s also a pretty good amount of dust left on the floors in the corners, but I did tell them to make sure to dust the baseboards and that got done pretty well. They got up most of the fingerprint marks from the high touch areas that I wanted. I think if they had some more sophisticated tools they could be more detailed. For example they need a good vacuum and magic erasers. I did think it was strange that the price went from $120-$200, especially since this is a 400 square-foot room with a tiny bathroom, no kitchen or walk-in closet. But maybe they realized what house they were at when they got here! LOL, previously another household member who had a really bad experience with them. My experience was pleasant, and Mark did say they can come back and do what they missed, but I feel like they should just be more detail oriented the next time. We’ve tried out a lot of cleaning companies and most are about the same. I’m going to have to spend about 40 minutes cleaning the details that were missed and I consider that to be pretty good.

I have to leave my house at 5 and they still were not here 3 hours after the scheduled time. Not sure why they have so many good reviews tbh. I ended up canceling!

They are very polite, responsive, and on time. I appreciate the manager's working attitude, also grateful that they are able to schedule me in during their busy session.

The reason I only gave them three stars we because I asked them to do a move-in cleaning after kitchen renovation. I specifically asked them to focus on the kitchen area. The floor was new, the carpet was new, the previous owner also cleaned the house, so most of the house is clean. Yet When I walked into the kitchen I immediately saw two chunks of white powders on the floor. How did that happen? They promised to clean all the cabinet, doors, switches, windows but overlook the dust on the floor?! I'd rather them charge a full fee for move-in cleaning and do a thorough job. However, again, I'm sure they can do a great job for regular cleaning.

The first time they sent three people who were nice enough and did a decent job but one had considerably bad hygiene which really bothered me. Not to judge someone who is working hard and sweating but he came in already smelling strongly. Not the best thing when you want your house clean and fresh and you’re paying good money for it. It was also worse the 2nd time and they also used a dirty mop or something that left a horrible odor in my house. The first time they came I pointed out to them in detail that my oven is hard to clean with several heavy pieces that detach. When I inspected more closely after they left I saw that they carelessly scratched the stainless steel very badly on my brand new expensive oven.
It was poor judgment on my part to use them again but I was in a bind for time and had a big event coming up at my house. Well, they pretty much just skipped my daughters room or did so little in there that you could not tell it was cleaned. I had to leave my windows open all day to alleviate the strange odor left in my house. But here comes the real kicker, the manager, Diego Prado, was so rude to me about payment immediately after it was borderline harassment and I quite literally had to block his number and emails bc he was non stop texting me to pay and treating me like a criminal. What happened was I paid through Zelle and it did not go through right away – so I sent him a confirmation as proof and said I was very busy for a few days so if I needed to contact the bank it will have to wait a few days. This guy would not let up and was trying to say I needed to handle it right away and treating me so disrespectfully. I asked many times for him to stop and he would not so my only choice was to block him. Very weird experience and I hope no one else has to be subjected to that unwarranted aggressive behavior by Diego Prado, the “manager”.

Lily Yang rated it 1/5: THEY BREAK INTO YOUR HOUSE WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have camera footages and text messages to prove that they do not have my permission to enter and they broke in to my house through a window. I wish I can give negative stars on yelp. The worst I’ve said before was yelp won’t let me give zero stars. BUT THIS COMPANY DESERVES A NEGATIVE STAR. They messed up my schedule, which I got a confirmation email for 2 days prior to the scheduled service. They instructed their contractors that they found to fill the spot last minute to illegally break in to my house via a window in my backyard. They lied to their contractor saying this is a move out cleaning where clearly everything in the house shows someone lives here. The contractor called them several times to confirm and he’s still lying in their faces. I couldn’t make out all the conversations from my camera footage because sometimes she puts him on speaker and sometimes not, I don’t know what the guy told her or how the f he even has the balls to make up sh*t like that to tell her, but even with all the clear evidence that someone lives in the house he insist it is a move out cleaning and even told her to throw my stuff out because she said something like for a move out like this we need to charge more. I need to clarify something here – HE KNEW THIS IS NOT A MOVE OUT CLEANING so there’s absolutely no miscommunication on that. I did not schedule a move out cleaning on their website, not even a deep cleaning, I scheduled a regular house cleaning. The guy also called me like three times today to see if they can move up the time and I said I CANNOT BE HOME ANY EARLIER THAN 4, multiple times. They lied to me saying the contractor thought the house was empty (like they’re blind and can’t see all the furniture????) and found my doors were unlocked (I freaked out cuz I always make sure all my doors are locked) so they just entered, and “asked” me what areas do I want them to focus on (again clearly shows he knows this is not a move out or why would you even ask that???) and do they have my permission to start working, which according to the timestamps on my security camera and my text message on the phone he “asked” for my permission 15 minutes after they broke into my house. And I told him I don’t think my doors are unlocked, and it’s illegal for them to do so. This is not only unacceptable, IT’S ILLEGAL. I was alone at the time and didn’t want to deal with calling the cops and four people who knows my home address… I guess it was my own fault for not arming my security system in the morning because I left super early for my cat. Otherwise I won’t need to deal with any of these, the cops will show up after they break in. So lessons learned, ALWAYS ARM THE DAMN SECURITY SYSTEM YOU PAID FOR. AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

NOTE: Revision after their response below (their response was quickly deleted after my note was published. Then, it was reposted after I documented they deleted it and I had screen shots) Not only did they not show up at 3pm today as we scheduled, then lied about allegedly coming to my house on Monday. This is why we have a Nest Doorbell and loads of video. There was no request for this person to "drop everything" to come to my house after they failed to show up or call to let me know they could not make it. Now this person is texting me tonight at 6:49pm about my review, which I have a right to do and not be harassed. The expectations here are basic…show up as scheduled (if you can't make the appointment, have the common courtesy to call and let me know), provide estimate, begin work. The unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and lack of responsibility for their actions I experienced with this business owner is unfortunate.

They did a smashing job, cleaning different rooms in a timely manner. I came home to a loving scent, that even my cat didn't fuss about. Nam Tran rated it 2/5: Let me first start by saying the two cleaners who came to my home were very nice and I have nothing poor to say about them as people. However, to review them as maids, they were not very good. My house needed just the standard cleaning (dust, mop, vacuum, wipe down, windows) and I was left pretty underwhelmed by their service. This was the first time I used OC Maids and I was under the impression that at $100 an hour for 2 people, they were a professional service, but seems more like they just came and did a quick pass because they knew they were going to get paid.
1. 3 hours late to my appointment, scheduled at 1 PM, didn't come and start till 4 PM.
2. No uniform
3. Wore their outside shoes in my house while cleaning (no booties)
4. Used general cleaning supplies, not commercial grade. I had to give them some of my own supplies as well
5. Did not mop my floors (used a Swiffer jet mop)
6. Not very observant – missed a lot of areas, I had to go back with blue tape to show them and they still missed similar areas in other parts of the house

This may have been a missed opportunity, but I will not be using them again. I could have done a better job cleaning it myself in the same amount of time they took.
Michelle Kim rated it 1/5: There's a reason this company is poorly rated. You might have a good experience in the beginning like I did but after some time it becomes more of a nightmare. Gustavo is so mean that I really didn't even want to support his business. He lashes out at his clients and tells them not to blame him when he promises one thing and then doesn't deliver.
The bad things started out pretty small like noticing the floors weren't mopped properly, to having to hire a locksmith because the key went missing, to having no cleaning crew on the day a guest is supposed to check in. I was clear that my home was getting fumigated and asked if they would clean after the fumigation. They agreed and then later said it was unsafe after I sent them a conversation I had with my fumigation team that the air was tested for safety and that it's completely safe.

If Gustavo was at least professional and accepted blame for his miscommunication, I might still work with him. He's stubborn and quite rude. There's better people to work with who won't cause you to be this upset every time you have to have a conversation with them.

Their crew is very unprofessional, rude, will want to talk to you the whole time rather than work. They will leave the place still dirty. They do not care to fix their mistakes. Customer service does not exist after the introductory phone call. Currently considering taking them to small claims court because still waiting on the refund of 300$ worth of service they never did
