Needless to say the house had not been my first priority and I wanted to get it deep cleaned before he came home. I found them online and chose them based to their positive reviews. I was able to schedule them to come and do an estimate and they were able to schedule the cleaning for the following day. My husband made it home before I could schedule them but they were very polite and conscientious about having to clean around my husband, a hospital bed and a wheelchair that didn’t normally exist in our living room. I also did all of this by phone because I was trying to manage work, caring for my husband, etc. my sister in law was there for the estimate and she also commented on Brian’s professionalism and that she felt comfortable with him. The ladies who came the next day were fantastic and the it was so very nice to come home to a really clean house. I would recommend them to to anyone.

Stephanie worked hard throughout the entire house to clean my place up and down. Much to my pleasant surprise she even organized areas that I didn’t go over with her in detail (as you can tell organization isn’t exactly my best trait). The entire house looks amazing, she got through every nook in the home and didn’t mind the fact that my large Labrador retriever was in the home! Overall I would say that this cleaning exceeded my expectations and I’ll be recommending them in the future

The service we received was basic cleaning level. Not terrible, but definitely not detailed as advertised. We found remaining gunk around water faucets/knobs in kitchen and bath that we were able to easily clear with a wet paper towel. That should not have been there after a detailed cleaning. Also, the extra add on of a hard clean of floors was either not performed at all, or they consider a quick sweep of a swifter mop to be a hard cleaning. We ended up having to hire another company to perform our floor cleaning. We were not reimbursed for the service that was paid for but not received. This left us disappointed and not willing to return to this company for reoccurring bi-weekly services.

She not only left the trash bag that was full, she added more trash to it. She used my vacuum and left that full, too. She half changed my bed and left the dirty comforter on. Out of the 48 cleaning points the website promised, she performed 12.

    I reached out less than 24 hours after and didn’t get a response until I bumped my email. During the second phone call, I was gas lit and yelled at, she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong.

    The owner of the company doesn’t care that his employees are giving such sub par cleans and even worse, that they aren’t following up with unhappy customers appropriately. You’re better off flushing your money down the toilet

After after a month they were supposed to come back and check to see if the job was successful with helping with my moisture problem. After 5 weeks I called them and made an appointment with Jonathan. Once again he didn't show up nor did he call. Since that time I have tried leaving 8 or 10 messages over a 3 month period for Jonathan and one for his partner Scott. Neither one of them has returned my call. I would not use this company again nor would I recommend them.

We have found them to be courteous, responsive, flexible, thorough, and, in general, very professional. The initial deep cleaning was performed by a team, but our regular cleaner is Angie, who's game and affable no matter the state of the house when she arrives. We have dogs and our floors are very hard to keep clean as a result of their hair, dander, and the dirt they track in on their feet from the yard. Each visit, Angie gives our floors a full sweeping, mopping, and leaves them in beautiful shape. We also appreciate how she asks each time she cleans if anything special or specific is needed on a particular visit. She also makes sure to check with both my wife and me to ensure nothing gets missed.

    We also did a fair amount of research as to cost before hiring a maid service as we had to be conscious of how the recurring service would effect our monthly expenses. The challenge came when they tried to handle expensive items. My wife is an executive and frequently invests in nicer clothing from stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue. Sadly, Russell's found some of my wife's more designer items beyond their limited skills.

The first problem arose when one of my wife's exceptionally expensive designer jackets simply vanished. We dropped it off and it never returned. When we asked about it, we were told that "it wasn't listed in the system as having been dropped off". That seems like an awfully convenient response if you lose an expensive article of clothing. In Russell's defense, they compensated us with a large credit to our account roughly equal to the value of the missing jacket.

The second issue (and third issue) came more recently when one of their employees clearly pressed a very expensive faux fur and faux leather jacket which specifically warned against high heat on the care tag. The formerly smooth faux patent leather accents came back permanently shriveled and the faux fur was completely matted down. When my wife and I confronted Andree (the Owner) about it, her fervent response was that we had brought it in that way and that she wasn't responsible. Russell's had cleaned the jacket several times prior with perfectly acceptable results but this time one of her employees was either poorly trained, disgruntled, or simply careless. One can only speculate. This time, Andree insisted that it was not her employee’s fault and refused to compensate us for the ruined jacket. Instead she gave us a check for the $14 cleaning charge and she seemed to think that was more than fair.

In the same load, my wife received a white blouse where the ink from the care instructions tag had been transferred onto the fabric so much that you could almost read the care instructions from the white fabric itself. Rather than make us aware of the issue, someone simply cut the care tag out of the blouse. When asked about this, the owner responded that she had a note in the system that the ink was on the blouse the very first time they cleaned the blouse (they had cleaned this blouse several times before we reported the ink). Strangely, after we pointed out the ink transfer to Andree, she had it spot treated and/or “re-cleaned” which removed 95% of the ink.

This begs the question; if the ink was noticed and notated when the blouse was previously cleaned, why did they never point out the ink stain to us? Further, if they had the means to remove it, then why did they not do so during prior cleanings?

We were loyal customers of Russells for years. They repaid our loyalty with carelessness and confrontational customer service. If you are looking for a “bargain cleaners” and your cleaning needs are limited to basic khakis and button ups, then this cleaner may suffice for you. If however you have nicer articles of clothing, you may want to search for a more professional organization, one who accepts responsibility for their mistakes, when they make them, rather than blaming their customers.

When I asked why, I was told folding the other garments will wrinkle them. Not only was my request not fulfilled, the excuse was lame, being the items were going into a suitcase, which I explained at drop-off. I request that my pants be creased… I received no creases. I wonder if the cashier was listening. I spent $40 on 3 pieces( including hem service), two of which were incorrect in multiple ways. I do not recommend this cleaners.
  • Joey Edwards rated it 1/5: I couldn't even convince myself to give Russell's Dry Cleaners 1 Star but postings aren't allowed with ZERO STARS. Well, I switched over to Russell's from my normal dry cleaners who was burning the buttons on my dress shirts. Used Russell's for about 2 Months, and found a $140.00 dress shirt that was only worn once with a whole burned in the sleeve and random black spots all over the shirt. Called to complain to the owner and never got a call back. Within the next 30 days I found 2 other dress shirt that were FITTED valued at $60.00 each that were over-pressed/over-heated (according to the manufacturer) to the point that they were no longer FITTED and looked 2 sizes too big – ruined! Called to speak with the manager AGAIN, took him 1 Week to call back and all he did was try to blame me. He finally swallowed his pride and agreed to credit my "auto-billed" credit card which after 3 Weeks still never happened but somehow my next bill was increased by 25% over the normal bill for the same quantity of clothing – go figure – Yes, we all see how this works!?!?!?!? Well, low and behold, 6/1/18, I slide on another nice FITTED dress shirt valued $70.00 that was purchase just 3 Weeks ago and worn twice and once again over-pressed/over-heated (according to the manufacturer) and fits like a sack of potatoes. Call Russell's Dry Cleaners for the manager to inquire about the lack / failure to reimbursement me from the first 3 shirts and to complain about the 4th shirt being damaged and to my surprise, the owner is not there again so here we are leaving another message in hopes of a call back. At this point, I'm out 4 shirts valued at $372.13 inc. Tax with no action taken from Russell's Dry Cleaning's management or ownership after weeks upon weeks of waiting for them to stand behind their word and reimburse me the value of the shirts. In short, if you want your clothes tortured by a Dry Cleaner with Absentee Management / Supervision, bad Quality Control and terrible customer service, Russell's is your shop. My credit card company will now do my talking for me.

They ruined two of my clothing items and charged me for the service. One of my button down collar dress shirt sleeve buttons was completely metled of and the plastic residue was burned onto the shirt itself. My pyer moss shirt which was completely white with leather sleeves was also completely destroyed. They held both clothing items for an extra week to investigate the damages and sent a letter explaining they weren’t responsible for the extensive damages they made on my two shirts. Please stay away from this business. Find other cleaners in your local area beside RUSSELL’s Dry cleaning!!!!!

    Been going to this place for years. They’re a bit expensive but I always thought that meant higher quality work that they would stand behind.

    Last week I picked up my suit and the vinyl elbow pads were completely ruined. They didn’t even bother to tell me – I found the damage when I got home and then noticed they noted it on the receipt.

    When I went back to ask about the damage and repair/compensation, I was told that they followed the garment label (dry clean only) and so they’re not responsible for any damage.

    That’s it?! So if your actions result in damage to a garment, you’re not responsible because you “followed the tag”? And who decides that you actually “followed the tag” and didn’t make a mistake? Oh, you decide? That’s great.

  • Sandy L rated it 1/5: I paid to have my water turned on Tues 3/20. The bill includes a garbage can and a recycling bin. I called Ramelli Tues afternoon (same day) to set up delivery and was told it would be delivered. I called Thursday to let them know it hadn't been delivered and I reiterated that I needed it, as we were moving in during the weekend and would, of course, need garbage cans. Friday morning rolled around and I had neither a garbage can nor a return phone call. I called again and was forwarded to leave a voice mail, which I did. Friday afternoon – no can, no call! I called and was told that they were gone for the day. Well, since today is Friday, that means I won't get my can or call until Monday. So I can either spend additional money to buy garbage cans that I paid for when I paid my water install bill, or move in with no garbage cans, because I can't get the company to return my calls or provide the service they are paid to provide.
    Ramelli's ratings are poor and their service reflects why. They are the contracted company for Kenner. Why? I think its time to re-evaluate who we give our hard earned money to for services, especially services that are not rendered.

I have been living in this house for 20 years and the ramelli’s have never once bothered to change my our dumpsters when we have been calling them for years. Every time we called them, the lady that picks up the phone keeps saying “ you’re on the list” and immediately hangs up the phone which is a very rude thing to do.

    Keep in mind we pay monthly fees to ramellis trash service and it’s in their contract that they are supposed to provide citizens with new dumpsters whenever the old one gets broken but they don’t want to give us a new dumpster because all the white peoples living around my neighborhood all have new dumpsters except for us. I wonder why, it’s like we are being discriminated..

    They are very shady, finally after years of waiting we got fed up and bought our own new 96 gallon of trash dumpster for 109 bucks with tax. Screw this ramellis company.
