  • J Y rated it 1/5: I don't know how the positive reviews were from. I trusted review on this site and hired them to clean my home. After two cleanings, I cancelled the service. It was terrible. The first time was a little 'better' (comparing with the 2nd time), even though there were many missing spots, at least they did vacuum and spend time to clean. The second time was horrible. It was like they needed to get to the next job or something and did everything in a hurry. I had to ask them to come inside again to clean the lighting fixtures, wipe the surface of the cabinets (kitchen), mopping one bedroom floor downstairs, and also the stairs. After they left, I noticed more work needed to be done. For the cleaning service agreement, we had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room and also the hallways plus stairs. There were 3 ladies, and it took them less than an hour (I paid $295 total) to finish. I don't mind paying the $ if the service was good but their cleaning was way below standard. I wish I could give 0 star for the poor quality of work they have done. BTW, when I called to cancel and report what happened, they didn't even care. I was speechless…

He and his team came in and covered everything before the pest control sprayed and then came in, washed everything and put it away. When they were there they noticed the bathroom needed to be deep cleaned as well and they did that, too. My brother is blind and needed help organizing his apartment. They did a wonderful job! They could have easily charged more for the service they provided, but took pleasure in helping someone who really needed extra help. Great service, great team and great prices! I'm moving from Southern California to Sacramento and wanted to be assured that the house was CLEAN before I moved in. Everything was coordinated through Ashika, who acknowledged/confirmed though various emails, what I expected. My job was a little outside their checklist of tasks, in that I was a MOVE-IN not a MOVE-OUT. However, I sent a detailed list of what I expected and it was confirmed by Ashika/Service Joy Maids that my list would be completed. I was quoted a range…which of course, they billed at the very TOP end of the estimate.
    When my daughter/son-in-law went to the house following the service, it was obvious that the drawers/shelves in the kitchen, bath, laundry room had not been wiped out as requested. They took several phots to document, which I sent them to Karla (manager), who indicated she would go to the property to inspect. My concern is that I have no confidence that the proeprty was actually cleaned as expected. Did they really "clean"? I've not heard back from Service Joy Maids and the followup visit to the property – If Service Joy Maids/Karla make this right, I will revise my review. Otherwise my advise is to steer clear of this company.

    I called their manager and she said they should come in and clean the kitchen and the bathroom. I told them this and they said “No, we are leaving “. And they left.

    Thankfully, I reached out to describe this mishap and the owner promptly reached out to reschedule a deep clean. The cleaners that arrived that day were not aware it was supposed to be a deep clean, and this company guarantees their work.

    Edit: after glancing at the bags of trash I noticed that there were things that very much should not have been thrown out. Legal paperwork, a wall hanging, a handmade hat, and the list goes on after I had to dig through all of the bags. If you have a time scheduled you may need to take time off from work to watch them to make sure they don’t throw away important things.

Yesterday I returned my apartment keys to the office but the apartment was dirty and the other company that supposedly cleaned it left the closets and drawers totally dirty. So I looked yesterday on Yelp for a company that could help me urgently and was able to schedule my cleaning very quickly. The Daymon cleaner was very detailed and creative when fixing the bathroom sink and Thaiza was very communicative with invoice, prices and instructions for the cleaner and after the service I was able to have my deposit and the apartment was very clean.
