May and Misa are also very responsive and organized, and care about their clients. At our initial cleaning we were thrilled that they were able to completely clean the deposits/stains from the shower basin in our master bath that we thought was a lost cause! Our regular cleanings every other week leave our house looking, feeling, and smelling clean and fresh. Overall we have been very happy with the service.

It would just be nice if there was some effort/attention to detail but it was really as quick and minimal a job as someone could do.

John Ahearn rated it 3/5: The actual service and the two women who showed up were excellent. No issues with them whatsoever. I enjoyed meeting them. However, there was horrible communication involved when setting up the appointment and absolutely NO communication with respect to an estimate. I called and then emailed 3 times I think. I was trying to figure out how to proceed meaning … was my expectation supposed to be that there is no estimate provided (other than something that was +/- about $140 based on very preliminary info for my square footage and number of rooms)? That didn't help. Was the expectation that they cleaners would arrive ONLY to give me an estimate? Was the expectation that the cleaners would arrive, give me an estimate, and then ask if they should go ahead and clean? The reason for my persistent emailing over the course of a week was to find out what their process is for getting me the right estimate.
I have no doubt that someone at the Maid Connection is going to dispute all this and claim that I'm to blame somehow. And I AM willing to take some blame for not calling continually to make sure I understood what to expect. But here's what I won't take any blame for and why I can't give them more than a 3 star review. Even though the actually cleaning service was probably 4 star (they didn't to remove spider-webs on the ceiling in at least two places – super-easy for me to do after they left but that was the only issue), when the cleaners arrived I told them that whatever they may have been told before they got there we were subtracting two rooms from the original plan. The estimate they gave me when they walked in the door was all the way on the high from what I first saw on their site based on square footage and number of rooms I indicated. But then we subtracted two rooms entirely and I was told the estimate was the same?

Again the two cleaners were great and we wanted to schedule for them to come back every two weeks. One cleaner told me that she was pretty sure the house could be cleaned in 1 hr 45 minutes or 2 hours tops for the same rooms next time they showed. I was absolutely fine with paying more the first time though, because the first time is different and they needed to take time to relay info back to the scheduler. But with 2 rooms removed from the original estimate why did they still charge me for 2 hr and 45 minutes work?

I really wanted to make this work, and I actually made an effort to try and do so but the owner of the house decided the poor communication was going to be a show stopper even though she was torn because she was really looking forward to finally having excellent cleaners take care of her home every 2 weeks.

Bottom line: don't do what I did if you go with Maid Connection. Get the scheduler on the phone no matter how hard that is to do. And get the estimate in writing ahead of time. I never did, and it's still got me wondering why. Possible they thought they gave me an estimate perhaps? I certainly did not!

Made sure to let the person I scheduled with over the phone that no one has been living in the home for at least 6 months and it needed a deep clean. The two cleaning were extremely nice. I went back to the house to do a walkthrough and the window sills were still dirty with dead flies/bugs(which was written on the walkthrough paper that is taken to the office) , the windows themselves were also spotted with soap and water.
I called the office shortly after the two left my home and no one answered. I called the next day and spoke to the office person. I explained to her that I was not satisfied with the service and explained the windows. She said "some of the cleaners do a better job cleaning windows than others" and told proceeded to tell me that I should have had the two employees that were there clean them again before they left. She was right I should have but why since they didn't do it well the first time (possibly lack of training?) I asked if someone could come back and clean them correctly and the office person said again that I should have told the two employees to reclean the windows and that she would speak to them and call me back… I heard nothing.

Unfortunately, this situation made more work for myself and I lost a decent amount of money. I will also not use or recommend this company as they did not make it right the first time.

The two employees had great attitudes and were friendly. I hope moving forward this company invests more time into training their employees.

Don Winfield rated it 5/5: We have hired them to come once per month to lighten the load for us as we are both very busy running our own business. We are "dog people" and are delighted when our team took the time to learn our dogs' routine and work around (and sometimes with) them. During the year that they have been coming out we have only seen once person change and the staff is always pleasant. Their Area Inspector has stopped by twice during that time to make sure they are conforming to their protocols and standards.
No person or team can be expected to perfectly fulfill their work obligations 100% of the time …. but with a simple call to their office, they are quick to return and follow up with something they might have overlooked or forgot.
After the 3rd visit, they average the price and we pay the same each month now and know what to expect.
I like dealing with a company that stands behind their service and workforce. Give them a call and if you are not completely satisfied, then consider calling the office before rushing to social media to rag on them. (Frankly, that should be policy regardless of what service you have hired another to perform – in my experience service providers relish the opportunity to make their customers happy .. but can't do that if they are not aware of it)
Hayford Peirce rated it 5/5: I've used them for 11 years now (they gave me a free cleaning and a fresh rose on the 10th anniversary) and wouldn't change them for any other service. I used a couple of others before The Maids and the others were never as satisfactory. I use The Red Team, and almost always the same people in the team come — so they *know* what to do in my quite large house with only a few words of instructions from me. The other services were always sending entirely NEW people and I would first have to spend 15 minutes walking them through the house — ON MY DIME. Most of the personnel at The Maids seem to have been there for a number of years — which indicates that they're being treated right by their bosses, not always the case elsewhere! I've recommended them to several people over the years, and I would recommend them again today….

I can't say enough nice things about them. We will definitely call them again. They are outstanding!!! 3 cheers for Team Lemon!!!

Besides the quick response from the company owner after I called and voiced my concerns, the entire experience was unsatisfactory. My 1400 sqft house is in good condition and just needed a deep clean to prepare it for a showing. After leaving three maids at my home for only 45 minutes, I received a call that they were finishing up. That surprised me a little, because even with three people, that seemed like a very fast clean to meet every requirement of the “deep clean” checklist. I walked in and discovered that the counter was still dirty (rice grains left on counter), the floor still had scuffs and grime stains, water spots in the bathroom, baseboards untouched, fans still dusty, dirt/dust directly under the bed and coffee table with no effort made to vacuum underneath. I know they cannot move furniture, but there was certainly enough clearance to easily reach dust under almost all furniture. I honestly felt like crying when I discovered how little effort was put into cleaning my home and thinking about the amount of money I spent just made me so frustrated. When I voiced my concern directly to the maids, the manager for the team addressed some of the problems, but, made me feel as though I was being picky/difficult simply for asking about the services and questioning the effort that went into the work. After the team left, I called and spoke with the owner who was understanding and she had the team manager return to my house to finish the job, which was an improvement but still not done to the highest standards. I have photos of the issues, and will post them on a separate review.

So far I've been with them for 4 months and I really love how clean they leave my house after the ladies come in and do their magic. My house stays smelling clean days after they are gone. Thsy bring their own products or can use yours. They really care about the details and are willing to make cleaning hassle free for me.

Teri Woods rated it 5/5: The cleaners arrived on time. The home was a 2,400 square foot rental. We did an initial walk-through and discussed the cleaning needs in each room. The crew did a great job. I was very pleased with their work. The cost was reasonable. An unexpected part of the service was the cleaners noted anything in the home that needed attention. Such as a garbage disposal not working, toilet not flushing properly, and light bulbs that needed replacement. I appreciated being made aware of the problems. I will definitely use One Click again.
