It's an old home, build 1900, and we unfortunately came across evidence of rodents after we purchased and YPC was recommended by a friend. Galvin, the owner, came out soon after I called to investigate the problem. He made some recommendations of things I could do myself to help with the problem and the set me up on their yearly pest control program (which is very reasonably priced).

After I set up the program, Johnny, a technician was out at our place and did a thorough investigation of the exterior and interior of the foundation and filled a few holes he found to keep rodents out. He set up bait stations and traps, and then sprayed around the house to keep bugs out as well. Johnny explained everything really well along the way and let me know things to keep an eye out for. He came back a few weeks later to assess for any rodent activity. Johnny was also super enthusiastic about his job and seemed to really care about keeping our home free of pests.

One of the exterior traps did end up catching something a few weeks later, and I called YPC to see if they could take care of it. Within 15 minutes, Dennis was out at our place and dealt with the issue. He also went above and beyond and fixed some problems he found with our garage to further keep rodents out. He was also a really nice guy who seemed to really enjoy his job and care about helping out his customers.

I would also be remiss to leave out all the folks I've talked to on the phone along the way. They have been very helpful and kind.

It's weird to say about a pest control company, but these guys have been a big blessing for our family since moving into our new (old) home. They have really given us peace of mind.

We had a great initial experience with YPC and signed up for their contracted service. I was told that ever so often a technician would do a “walk around” of the property to ensure things were going well.

Imagine my shock when I began seeing mice – and for our latest technician to identify major vulnerabilities in our exterior wall!

Thanks to Kirk I’m continuing on as a happy customer but definitely almost went the other direction.

We had small children in the household so we don't want any kind of poisons anywhere near the house. Catseye did an inspection and suggested their residential exclusion system. They used metal sheets, silicon, and some metal mesh like sponge sealed all possible entries for rodents. They also removed old insulation, disinfected many places, and installed new insulation. They did an excellent job with great attention to the details: my special shout out to Eddie. The changes they made to the house are not visible unless changes were pointed to you. Both my wife and I are very pleased with their work. I think their residential exclusion system should become standard for all newly built houses.

Jason Kingsley rated it 5/5: I had a yellow jacket problem last summer and contacted Ultra Safe to come and take a look for me. They were on time and professional. The tech that came out was Mike and he was great to deal with and was able to take care of the issue quickly.
Fast forward to this winter, we had found some mouse droppings in our basement. We caught a few mice on our own but wanted to enlist a professional to make sure we took care of the issue as a whole. I reached back out to Ultra Safe and they were able to get someone out here the next day even with it being a short week with the holiday. They sent out Eric who was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He cleaned up all the areas where there were mouse droppings as well as set a couple bait boxes and about a dozen traps strategically throughout the basement which he identified as “high traffic” areas where mice like to travel typically. He also found their entry point outside by our front stairs very quickly and sealed it.

Overall my experience with Ultra Safe has been amazing. I have signed up for the annual maintenance plan to make sure we have coverage for anything that comes up.

Started to see a problem again last month and they , found holes ( I do not remember the techs names but they were great!) and all was good until the mice just came back They came back again and today Chris came and found a large hole of the wood shifting by the baseboard heat and I feel confident that will do the trick! They have all been professional , nice , knowledgeable environmentally safe and all know their stuff!

I know that sounds dramatic but the past few years there has been major construction and development in our town, displacing all the rodents. It has been a major problem for homeowners in our area, especially those of us who live in 200 year old houses! We interviewed exterminators, but we didn't think it would be a good long term solution, as well as the fact that we hate poison and the affects it has on any wildlife that could eat poisoned mice (and we have 2 dogs). For months we've had our entire pantry devoured, tried mouse traps (we caught 3 and it was so gross) and the rodents were not even afraid of us and came into our living areas! We felt under siege. Best Mice Proofing Solutions went above and beyond to "batton down the hatches". They finally gave us the peace of mind we needed. Also, The owner is the nicest and easiest person to work with and I love that they were on time for the two days that they were here. Any texts I sent were promptly returned. If you want to rodent proof your home forever I strongly (obviously) recommend BMPS!!!

Like another reviewer, I felt under seige! My house was under construction and the builder left entries prime for a mouse infestation. I had to disinfect before cooking every meal! It was nowhere near as bad before reconstruction. It has been two weeks and not one evidence of a mouse! The same goes for my tenants. They are very pleased. I will be certain to update my review if things change, but I am beyond satisfied with their work. They are professional and kind. If you want your peace of mind back, you won't be disappointed. You can enjoy living in the city without mice issues with this service. I never even knew a service like this existed and at my wit's end, glad I came across BMPS during a Google search. It is worth the value!

I spent a few years trying to fix the pest issue with traditional pest control contractors and nothing was ever resolved as they simply cycle through bait stations and perform some basic inclusion work here and there. It was not until I decided to hire Best Mice that the problems have actually been corrected. This is the type of service required if you wish to rid yourself of mouse-complaints for good. It has been over a year since the work was completed and I can confidently say that Estaudo and his team work miracles. Professional, punctual, budget friendly and above all, effective. Highly recommended!

Emily Miller rated it 5/5: My first interaction with Buono was for my mother's home in Belmont. Service was same day, problem solved and 5 star on all levels. One visit was all it took for problem to be eradicated.
Years later I myself own a home in Needham which very suddenly had carpenter ant infestation. I telephoned in the morning, was told a field manager would call and 2 hours later a wonderfully polite and competent technician (Kyle) was at our home. Kyle was able to very quickly identify the source of our problem , explain and complete the recommended treatment and assure us he would return for one year at no charge should problem not be solved.
I cannot recommend Buono Pest Control highly enough and will definitely be recommending to friends and neighbors should they have a need.

Two top notch professionals manning the front line phones with customer service and then coordinating an on-site visit at one of our clients homes. The on-site visit with Hasan was professionals, on time and a learning experience for me as well. The price we paid was extremely reasonable for the services provided. When I called their office today to make payment upon completion of the visit, I spoke with the Owner Marillian. It became very clear that Marillians professional demeanor and kind friendly approach runs through her organizaiton. Consider our company a customer of yours for life. Dan C.

We liked that Buono Pest Control did not exterminate the squirrel, Michael created a one-way funnel to exclude it. From that point on the squirrel was gone and we have had no further issues.

Update – they have been trying to reach me, and we have not connected. We also hired a different company that works specifically with squirrels etc. Like i said earlier, Buono Pest Control did a 5 star job eliminating ground level voles or mice, and sealing what they did. Just remove the star system already!
