RJS came first to look at the situation, made a detailed proposal, and sent an email stating what they would do and quoting a reasonable price.. As soon as I accepted they scheduled for the next day and also set up the other appointments at that time. Their office seems very well organized. and their technician did a very thorough job. One other company quoted a high price but would not give details or a written estimate. The other came to look and seemed like they were a good company but then took a lot of time and decided they were too busy to do the job.

I wrote a lengthy email about how bad it has gotten over the years compared to when I first moved in. I couldn't even wash the dishes, take a shower or even relax in my own dang room without seeing a roach. So I called this company with my expectations lowered just in case. Positive Pest Control came to my house right on time, inspected every inch of my house and explained to me exactly what they were going to do and how it was going to work. They even recommended I weather strip my door to prevent the roaches from returning, they weren't trying to upsell me on anything because they don't sell or install those things, just a genuine recommendation to keep the roaches or any pest away from my home. Anyways, it's November now and I have not seen a single roach. I don't see them ANYWHERE, the guy who came to exterminate my house said I was going to war with the roaches and boy he was right… and we won. I promised the owner I would write a good review on Google if they made my wish come true.. and here I am. From now on this will be my go-to company for any pest control I need in the future and I will be recommending it to anyone who suffered like me. Also I hope those two guys who came to my house are getting paid handsomely, better not lose them. Thank you so much.

I couldn't believe how fast, attentively, and persistently they responded to my rodent infestation (and right before the holidays). They also got to the root of the issue—that my floor and wall in my kitchen (hidden behind the cabinets) are totally deteriorating and I needed a contractor ASAP. They gave me a referral to a trusted contractor, who came for 10 hours on Christmas Eve the next day and did his best to create a temporary barrier (the most patient person I ever met!), but also showed me that the damage was huge to my walls/floors of the apartment I had just moved into, just as Benny had indicated. (The contractor said it was unlivable without further action to rebuild the wall and floors). Benny, Leah, and the team at Positive Pest Control of NYC—and their referral networks—got to the root of a big and serious issue fast, and while my dream NYC apartment has turned into a NYC nightmare, their kindness, care, and truly going out of their way to help me in a crisis (right before Christmas!!) simply meant the world to me. Michael Maldonado rated it 2/5: We tried using assured on some of our buildings even though their rates came in a little higher then other companies… the main reason for using them was to update and maintain their inspection and sop book for our warehouse … after multiple phone calls and attempts to get their book updated with inspections .. they failed to do so .. it wasn’t until I called the field supervisor to come out and he updated our book. And assured us the technician would do so as well … again our records were out of date … I would not recommend using this company. It was not worth the price difference.

The office can be a bit difficult to coordinate and schedule with, but much of this comes from it being Spring and the demand for service being so high. However, the office is courteous and efficient as well.

Their food safety manager is world class, sales team knowledgeable and their technicians are well trained. I can testify that when encountering a problem this team is THE team you want combating the problems. The food safety manager is on point, listen to them, do what they say and your problems go away..amazing! Whatever your pest control needs (industry wise) reach out to them, I can't say enough about them.

Not only was Mike immediately responsive to me at 7am on a Sunday morning but he was very kind and helpful during such a challenging time. He sent Frank to my house who was absolutely amazing. He arrived right on time. He took his time to find the hole where the mice were entering and he truly is an expert at what he does. Should I have an issue with rodents in my home again I will definitely be using this company. Reliable, excellent price, and good results. I am very happy with my choice to select this company.

When they got here they explained everything they were doing and did it efficiently. They went through my whole house and seemed extremely knowledgeable and I feel so reassured. They said they probably won't need to be back but I'd happily use this company again, or suggest it to my friends.

This was my third use of the company over five years or so, to waterbug proof my house. And while that's not completely achievable, they come as close as one could expect for NYC. I wouldn't use any other PC company.
