Sam Chow rated it 1/5: Horrible! They were to come and do pool school the only thing the gentleman wanted to do was sell the weekly pool cleaning service. Then they came out to set up the system he didn't have the equipment with him and he was 20 mins late to begin with so he needed to come back the following day. At that time he couldn't do it so needed to get a technician out to set it up. Which I will say he got the lights on for me. But all the variable pumps were set to the same address meaning they can't be operated individually. When I called to have them come fix the issues they want to charge me another 90-135 for a trip fee to fix their issues! I'd rather pay someone else a little more to know it wad done correctly! And that's just what I did! I definitely wouldn't hire them to clean just over priced and definitely not for the system they don't know it well enough obviously took two of them to do and they still got it wrong.
Save your time and money call someone who knows what they are doing. I did try to speak to the owner before posting but after getting off the phone with him saying employees were more important than customers I figured he lost that chance! Sadly! 🙁

From their estimator Chris to the office manager Jennifer to our project manager Johny and our pool technician Alex, you couldn’t ask for a more professional, friendly and efficient group. We even had the owner stop by to help troubleshoot a last minute hot tub issue.
When Chris came to estimate our renovation (new coping, tile and pebble tech surface), he explained every step of the process, gave a general timeline and offered options for all the surfaces. He was patient and explained all our questions. Jennifer handled the “boring” process of contracts and invoices with a kind and welcoming presence.
Johny was a project manager’s project manager. He was on top of everything. His communication with us was stellar both in keeping us updated and answering questions texted or called to him. His crews were excellent and he moved them in and out with ease. The masons and tile crew and their support staff were skilled and performed at a high level. The worksite was cleaned each evening and they were all very good at answering questions as well.
I would highly recommend this company.

Johnny Joe Torres understood the urgency of getting this completed very quickly since it was causing our multi-family pool to be closed. He got a crew out on a Saturday and completed the repairs in one day! We will now be able to open our pool for our residents before the upcoming holiday weekend. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the repair, the professionalism and the quick turnaround time as promised. We will definitely be using for our future needs.

We had the pool resurfaced with a pebble surface, the waterline tile replaced with small subway tiles, the coping replaced with buff leuder, the skimmer replaced, a split drain added, a swim lane, handrail, and converted our pool to saltwater.

The sales and procurement manager, Chris, came to look at our pool was really helpful and did great job understanding our vision and giving us reasonable expectations of what could be done and the resources required.

The project was started before the expected start date which was an awesome surprise because our pool was unusable due to the quality of the old plaster on it. The downside was that supply chain issues slower down procurement which slowed down completion. Unfortunately, communication during this time could have been better. It was definitely us reaching out to get status updates instead getting notifications when there were delays. After I asked for more consistent updates, communication became more proactive. Kudos for making it making it right!

On the work side, Johnny was our project manager and he did a great job of answering my questions and checking in on the work. The craftsmen that installed the coping and tile were awesome. We have a lot of curves and corners in our pool and they had some really tricky cuts to make for the leuder slabs but they did a great job. I wanted for the swim lane ie. one line down the middle and and a curve at each end so I wouldn't hit my head while doing laps and they had the idea of turning the tiles on points and I love it. It looks great and is very functional without overwhelming the rest of the pool. The handrail they installed is great quality and sturdy. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the finished product. They weren't the cheapest quote that we go in but I am confident in their work. I highly recommend Crystal Clear and will be engaging them again when we are ready to add a hot tub to our pool.

Thanks Johnny and Chris for breathing new life into our pool!

Surprisingly, I received a call from Ted a few hours after received the quote and was told that Ted is coming on the same day as my house is on his way to home.

Ted showed up in 30 mins after the call. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly solved the problem and patiently explained me how it went wrong and why the fix will solve the problem and it does. Ted did awesome job!

I will recommend Patriot Pool & Spa to anyone!

Service was acceptable(ish), but not exceptional. Creeping the neighbors pool company (Patriot) and seeing how they stuck around for more than 5 minutes and actually cleaned the pool made us jealous! So a quick call and boom! Regular rotation and service. We now feel that (as the pool ages) we’re in good hands and issues will be brought to our attention instead of ignored. Our pool went from GA to VIP! Thanks Patriot!

On the other hand a 20% savings from someone else may have resulted in a less favorable experience 😊.

And it all survived the big freeze…. You don't find this kind of customer service anymore. Hines is great!

The Company communicates extremely well with job status (Joel) and Jeff has become our "Go To" pool repair person. We used another entity only to be insulted by the person with whom we had worked. Over the last few years, Hines has become the preferred entity with whom we always work. They are easy to work with, they are pleasant to work with, they do the job right the first time and they do it at a fair price. We cannot say enough about the experiences we have had with them.

They installed my hot tub and a few months later the spa showed a cloudy, eroding plaster. Had to have the entire hot tub redone.

A leak occurred and required a new part. I had to call for weeks and weeks to follow up on the part finally got someone to come out.

When they came out to replace the lid, I asked they help me fix the pool app that wasnt connecting to my phone. They looked at it and stated I needed to replace the entire thing and get a booster.

They were at my house for 1.5 hours and sent me a bill for over $700 to just replace a lid and look at my app.

I had another company come out and look at the app and all it was was a wire that was not connected into it and it clearly showed disconnected from it.

I have heard from several other pool companies and people that this company is not honest and this is what they constantly hear from others as well.

I usually dont write reviews but due to the extent of what I have experienced and knowing others are to, I hope this prevents others from experiencing this.

Received a call to check in and ask if we had any damage to our pool or pipes after the week of Artic freeze so they could prioritize repairs for the coming week. No damage I could see but they were going to check on Monday. Wasn’t expecting that level of service, but that was super considerate.

I think it has been two years since we contracted with American Spa and Pool. Cannot imagine having our pool serviced by anyone else. They are extremely conscientious about the quality of their service and even if they are not contracted to do so they are proactive in letting you know where a potential problem might exist with your pool. Thomas and team are the best and take time to understand their customers. Highly recommended.

We have been using them for some years and have found them to be very upfront and honest about any costs and scheduling. Our assigned pool tech, Drew Ferguson, has been fantastic. He comes weekly and does an impeccable job. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely takes pride in his work. He communicates very well, is friendly and responsible. He helps with tips about keeping our pool & spa looking brand new.
Most importantly, he identified that our pool likely had a leak and set us up with a leak detection company who indeed found a small leak and repaired it. Drew is invaluable in helping us to add the correct amount of water. Our water bill has gone down hundreds of dollars.
We get an emailed report on the spot every visit. The report has notes and photos! Love it.
Drew also was very understanding when our dog bit him.
Drew gave us a small, but very thoughtful, Christmas present and we were touched.
We hope he stays with us for a long time.

Ive never had to worry about them not showing up, they’ve gone above and beyond regular cleaning and helped prevent and fix any issues, and overall made it seamless to own and enjoy our pool. I also appreciate the photos and visit summary each week. Billing is affordable and straightforward, never dealt with any hidden fees or surprises. Will recommend.

Weekly pool service is reliable, efficient, careful and hassle free. After the last storm my pool was a disaster. Branches, acorns, leaves, dirt and 2 of my chaise lounge chairs all in the pool. Nick came out the day after, and had the pool shimmering and gorgeous in no time. So appreciative of the company's top notch pool care services. My pool has never looked better.

They absolutely take care of my pool and take the time to have me understand exactly what’s going on anytime I ask any questions. Recently they sent out Jeff to come take care of my pool because it had been shooting out debris. Jeff did a MASTERFUL job at fixing the issue and making my pool look like new!

Art has done a fantastic job to take care of my pool. His attitude is unparalleled. He pays attention to details that matter to me. He is the best. He left the company. And now our pool has been green for the whole month and nobody came to take care of our pool. Stay away from this company! My husband had been complaining about this company for a year after we changed to this company until Art. And now he just complained again. And the company charged more than needed because the pool was green.

What I already knew about Fantastic Pools was that their prices were fantastic — they are about 25-30% less than their competitors for the "chemicals only" service that I purchased. But price is only half the battle. The other half is knowledge, skill and the quality of service of the water itself.

Water is pretty complicated! Keeping a great pool is more than setting chlorine and pH levels. It turns out to be anything but simple to keep that water "happy" for many years, without eventually corroding or calcifying the walls of the pools and all that expensive equipment.

In my running dialoge with him about working to fix a problem I was having with my water, I have over time, found Kevin to be one of those rare combinations of three ingredients: a good people-person, a good team manager/leader, and an eager "student of the science of water".

I'm giving this company 5 stars at the moment. But being as young as he is, I now believe his company is just going to keep getting better and better over time.

Our pool water was in serious need of an overhaul (well water plus a softening system that was inadvertently running to the pool had put a ton of salt into the water). Fantastic pools has an awesome trailer with a large reverse osmosis system within it that can clean pool water removing all dissolved solvents without having to drain the pool which is ordinarily required. It took a few days given the levels of salt and TDS we had, but now our water looks and feels great. The price was very fair for the service provided. We also are using them for regular maintenance moving forward in hopes of staying on top of this type of an issue. So far, I am happy with their service and Kevin's customer service is great.

Our pool became quite murky and when it was brought to their attention, Kevin and his team came out midweek, on back to back days to ensure it was rectified. We’ve used them when we were having issues with the heater and they were fielding calls on a Friday night, walking us through how to do a backwash, step by step. We cannot speak highly enough of the team, and their professionalism. Our pool has never been cleaner, and we know we have a trusted partner for all our pool needs.

I also received a door tag for work that was not done and was ignored when i called about it so chose to terminate them. This is a service business, you have to actually serve your customers.
