Monday morning she called back to confirm that I still needed the appointment, gave me the name of the plumber who'd be doing the work and and confirmed the appointment time. Two hours before the appointment, Eric called to say he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could start early. 30 minutes later, he arrived, and by the time the middle of the window he was supposed to arrive in rolled around, Eric was done and I have a new discharge pipe that water drains out of completely for the entire length it's outside the house and suggestions from him for things to follow up with to ensure that this never happens again, even if it DOES get to -15°F again. Both employees were helpful, friendly and above all quick and competent.

I was not happy so I google plumbing 24hr and got a hold of these guy. What a life saver, they come in while I was on a very important phone call, I just show them the bathroom sink. And before, I finished my phone call, they are done and got the drain plug open. I ran water for about 15 minutes and what a relief. Thank to these nice and knowledge gentle men Gregg and Jeff. Even better, friendly which was very welcome after pumping a flooded basement all day. Hopefully will never need them again but they will be my first call for any other drain issues.

Joshua Benson rated it 1/5: Company was quick to arrive and adequately cleared the drain. However they left such a mess that I could never recommend them to anybody. They didn't wipe the mud from their boots when they walked through my house, but that was the least of my worries.
After attempting to clear a bathroom drain unsuccessfully (and leaving a mess under the sink and on the floor), they went down to the basement to cut a section of my drain pipe for better access.

Why they didn't think to have a bucket underneath the pipe as they were cutting it is beyond me. But the result was black sludgey drain water on my wall and basement floor.

When they were finished up and I asked if they would clean up after themselves I was told that no – they don't clean up their mess. They said that they have too much equipment on the truck to fit anything to help them with cleaning.

So while my drain was unclogged I had to spend my afternoon mopping up standing sludge water and wiping down my walls. Then cleaning my bathroom and hallways upstairs.

Do not recommend.

Love 2 Wynn rated it 5/5: We need specific parts for our rental unit bathtub faucets. We took the original stem, flange and handle to menards…they couldn't help. Went to home depot and they did manage to get us the exact stem, but the rest didn't work with the stem…took parts back, but they directed us to First Supply. But they didn't have what I need either, so they directed me to Crown Hardware. Although it was a 35 minute drive, it was worth going! The guy that helped me (I think someone called him Tom) knew exactly what I needed…he didn't even take my original parts with him to go hunt down the stem, flange and handle. Came back with all the correct parts, and double checked pricing! Took the parts to our rental property, put them on, made some adjustments…finished!
Crown Hardware has hard to find Hardware and so much more! Hope I don't have to go through such a complicated experience again, but I am so grateful I finally got what I needed! If there is something that a can't find, now I know where to go…Crown Hardware…thanks a bunch!

Lock your doors and be aware of your surroundings as this is a pretty bad area in Milwaukee. Other then that I highly recommend this place for all plumbing and hardware.

Friendly senior employee laughed when I asked him if hd carried it. He said “hell no. Nothin’ here for you. You gonna have to go to Crown. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.”

No better advice has been given to me re: hardware stores for homeowners old and new or ANYONE working on an older (pre-1970’s maybe in particular?) home in the area.

Multiple emails/texts were also sent and still nothing. I guess replacing all plumbing fixtures in 2 baths, including toilets, as well as kitchen fixtures and insinkerator was either too much for him or not worth his time. UPDATE: I did end up receiving an incorrect estimate after posting this review. When I emailed back requesting a correction and clarification, I received a response advising due to my review, they declined my job. Seems to me they didn't want my business in the first place, but that is just my personal opinion.

They still pumped the septic for us and did a great job leaving everything just as they found it. They left the invoice on the door. The first time was for bathtub drain. He removed the clog and cleaned out the drain; this was over a year ago and still no problems. Today I called about my kitchen and bathroom sink drain being clogged and he came the same day. He got them functioning in a short period of time. After he left I notice there was a tiny amount of water from under the kitchen drain pipe and called him right away. He came back with a plastic part and installed it to insure the fit was tight and it only took him five minutes and told me it was on him. What a great guy. Darrell is very reasonable in his fees. He is easy to talk to and takes pride in his work.

I don't live far from their location, but they were in and out of my house with the problem fixed (tree roots clogging up my sewer drain) in less than an hour from when I called them on a Saturday! Fair price for the job, too, unlike some other companies in town. 5 Stars.

After talking to more than 10 plumbing/drain companies, I chose 24/7 Drain Cleaning because they said they can come out the same day. 24/7 Drain showed up at my house within 2 hours after contacting them the same morning and unclogged my kitchen sink within 15 minutes. Without a doubt, I would call this company again if I ever run into a clogged sink I can't fix myself.

They were right on time and went right to work. We have a 100 year old home we recently bought so I was a little nervous about the workload/price. He unclogged our sink and was able to drain it into our floor drain – which was literally all the way across the room from the sink. He was nice, super fast, knowledgeable and ridiculously reasonable. Will use again if needed! Thank you!

He told me more information about my septic and what was going on in 20 minutes than the other company i had been using did in 2 years!! I wouldn't bother calling anybody else but this company. You are in great hands with Pat!!
Mishan Klotz rated it 5/5: I had meant to post this review a few weeks ago but we had been so busy with end of summer plans that I let it get away from me. So here I am finally reviewing McDonough septic, as it would be terrible to not acknowledge the way he helped us through our plumbing disaster.
Our big plumbing disaster happened two days before we were set to go on a vacation. It was absolutely terrible and stressful and I called Pat late on a weekend. He answered. He then walked us through troubleshooting to help us figure out who we needed to come out there and what was probably going on. He helped us to figure out if it was more likely a plumbing problem or a septic issue. He calmed me down entirely with his expertise and general helpfulness. He made me feel confident that the situation could and would be resolved.

He also saved us time and money by pinpointing pretty quickly just over the phone what the most likely problem was and which direction to head in as far as repair goes.

Pat has done this in the past for us one other time where I also Google reviewed him because he came through in such a pinch and helped us out so thoroughly, going above and beyond.

It was because I had that previous experience with Pat McDonough where he helped us out in another plumbing disaster that I called him this time, as well. And I am so glad we did. We had our plumbing nightmare resolved in time to go on vacation in less than 2 days time on a weekend.

We call him in a crisis and we call him for our general septic pumping needs. I will always call Pat for our septic pumping needs, as I trust him and he has come through for us so many times that I will stay a loyal customer!

Had emergency called him once he called the owner of the company and got me in first thing in the morning. He was even willing to come out his way if needed tonight.Helped me out so much.I highly recommend them.

Instead he stated it depends on when and where they are traveling to in order to save cost of gas. Sure, but there should still be a set schedule. I was told I'd be contacted. It's been 3 weeks now and no contact. I'm going with another company…

He’s patient and willing to take the time to educate you on how the system works and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to call for service.

Didn't want to take the time to set up an appointment then when we did she didn't want to tell us the time of the appointment/tried to hang up before telling us when the appointment was. Also stated that it would be normal to have a full septic tank after 3 months.
