He listened to the particulars of the look I wanted to achieve, tempered my expectations accordingly (certain stains are lighter than others) but kept his word at my request for 2 coats. It. Looks. Fabulous. 😀 We get compliments all the time and I believe it will last at least 5 years, if not many more. Marcel was a true professional – preserving the pavement from errant stain spills and avoiding the hardware on the gates. (Photos show Before and After) I absolutely recommend Joe and his team if you want a quality fence/deck staining that'll protect your investment and look truly fabulous. *Note: Ready Seal Stain is THE BEST, but requires twice as many gallons as your average for pictured effect*

It was clear they knew how to do a quality job without damaging my deck ( fly by night operations and your brother in law do not) My technician did a terrific thorough job. When he cleaned the deck he decided it needed a day to dry. It had rained the day before. So my job took two days and the price quote did not change. Areas on my deck needed sanding not that I realized this but the technician did and he sanded areas down. The warranty is for two years. Figuring in two seasons for the price it was a huge bargain with expert care in workmanship. I highly recommend Grime Busters without hesitation.

The leaking in my basement WAS a result of the "cleaning" that was done of my unit, because (1) I DID NOT have this problem prior to this company coming out (not matter the weather outside) and (2) the problem has since stopped after the service men removed debris that they showed me before leaving. I tried to explain this to Guss who lied and said his name was Tony (his service men confirmed), but Guss was adamant about the problem not being their fault even though he was not looking at my unit. Instead of agreeing to send someone out to look at the problem he debated with me, dismissed my concern, and laughed at my frustration. It was only after mentioning that I would write a review that he decided to schedule someone to come out although he clearly did not want to. In fact, Guss ("Tony") called the day before reluctantly sending someone out and threatened to NOT send someone to look at the problem if I did not agree to remove my review. I told him that I would update my review rather than take it down because the leaking in my basement was only a part of the problem. My biggest concern is the interaction I had with him. He was very rude, he is a blatant liar, and he made it seem like he was doing me a favor rather than following up on his company's guarantee of their work. As I tried to explain to him on the multiple occasions that he tried to bully me about my review, I am grateful to the service men who came out to assess the problem. However, I do not appreciate his lack of customer service, bullying, and disrespect. I will be using another company in the future.

After my unit was cleaned it has leaked more than once, damaging my basement walls and costing me money to try and assess the problem. I NEVER had this problem prior to the company cleaning the unit. When I called to ask if someone could come and assess the problem, I had to deal with a very difficult and rude associate who claimed that he was the only person in the entire company who could help me when I asked to speak with someone else because every single person was on a 3 week vacation. He proceeded to suggest that the problem wasn't the company's fault even though he had not seen the unit and does not know what is going on. I repeatedly asked for someone to be sent out but he proceeded to drag out the conversation and laugh repeatedly at my frustration. When I asked for his name he initially refused and questioned why I needed it before giving me a different name than the one he gave at the beginning of the call. Because of this interaction I would never recommend anyone to the company and I will not be a returning customer. I am still awaiting someone to actually assist me.

cynthia jackson rated it 5/5: I found Lucas Special Services on the internet, and I called Mr. Earl Lucas the week prior to Thanksgiving to ask him to come out to clear my gutter of a bird's nest that was located 1 or 2 inches away from the down spout. On heavy rains, the water could not flow down the downspout and started backing up and dripping in between my exterior wall and my sheet rock. Mr. Lucas said that he was moving away from working on Saturdays, and he tried to accommodate me right away for that Tuesday, but I had to work. Also, he had plans for the next weekend; that was, Thanksgiving weekend. He asked that I give him a call after the Holiday. I reached back out to him, and he said that he would come out on a Saturday for me. He and his son, Robert, came out on December 17, 2022. They were on time, and the charge was the same as quoted to me on the phone, and they were both jovial and professional. Robert totally cleared that large bird's nest out of the gutter, and I no longer hear that drip in between the walls when it rain. I am so happy that I no longer have to be concerned about water damage to my home; therefore, I am grateful for the service rendered. I will absolutely use this company again. This duo works well together. I plan to use them to power wash my deck in the spring. I look forward to doing business with them again.

And so I asked if he might consider doing my parent’s house as well. Their windows are much older, heavier, and require removal to clean. Thus they hadn’t been cleaned in decades. My dad is in his 80s and doesn’t get out of the house as much as he once did. And it pained him to sit and look through those windows knowing he couldn’t clean them. Well, I just got off the phone with my dad and he was absolutely delighted!! Overjoyed! Said his windows look amazing!! My parents loved Jason! Honestly, I’m not sure Jason knows the difference he made. But I promise it was more than simply cleaning windows, he truly brightened their lives.

He really transformed our outdoor space drastically and went above & beyond for us. I'm not sure if his website states that he provides deck/fence staining services as well, but he does! In the two days he was helping us out, he was courteous, careful, and professional throughout. He gave us a free estimate, and he was precise when detailing the costs (for example, if we had needed a second coat of solid stain, we knew what the cost would be in advance). Our siding, gutters, and deck now look great — thanks Gary!
