Got call the day off. Big deal? Not really, but not smooth vs the expectation that was setup by the dispatcher.

Guy arrived to look at an issue with the dishwasher. Was professional, pleasant, overall good.

Identified the problem as the power cable quickly. Was told since was power-related he couldn’t do anything except locate the issue. Was in the house 30ish minutes, charged 120.

No real complaints, but with price vs experience I didn’t walk out being psyched about it.

Would probably use again. Would probably recommend, but not enthusiastically from this one experience.

Because there was no main breaker on the box, I feared the worst, that it blew the box itself.

The coordinator I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and understanding. She listened and tried to get us taken care of as soon as possible.
When Henry arrived, he was able to diagnose and solve the problem very quickly, and he was also extremely professional and kind.

A project manager came out and made a quote to replace the unit and give us credit for the repair work that was done. The furnace was installed the next day in just four hours. Another company installed the HVAC 2yrs ago because my old system froze and melted and the water went everywhere. They didn’t tell me about needing float switches that shut-off the system if the pan was full to prevent water going everywhere, the whole reason they were installing a new system to begin with.

    Thank you, Lee Company for alerting me to the need for float switches and installing them for me as well as a back up switches. You’ve done much for my condo in the last 12 months, including fixing closet shelve that fell, Installing 2 toilets to replace 2 I knew were going bad for last 3years, and fixing patio outlet that has not worked correctly since I moved in, plus other minor odd jobs and great tips and advice!

He set a follow up appointment for two days later to replace a section of pipe. He completed that repair very quickly. We were left very pleased with the professionalism and speed of Sean with Lee Company.

After being underneath my home for five minutes he quickly determined that it was moisture under my home. The technician has to come inside my home and go through a crawl space which is aligned with encapsulation. Little did he know that I had another company to come out the day before and everything was great. I just wanted to compare quotes and go with the best and most fair quote. I was told that I would get my quote right away and the technician left and said he would have to send someone else out to take a look. Needless to say I am out of a $79 for someone from this company to come to my home to try and rip me off to make the company more money. If you are looking for a trustworthy company, look elsewhere.

His professionalism and expertisexwere above and beyond. And i would call them first if i need services not covered by my warranty company. I will ask for Jonathan next time.

When I first had the opportunity to have warranty repair done Greenway stumbled with our hot water heater repair. It needed replacement but was taking weeks, until I made the company's owner aware. They quickly made up for the delays by setting me up with a commercial grade water heater and I've had no issues with it since. They have since been to my home many times over the years and have provided only the best service since. Last year my ac was in need of repair but Greenway was not sent. This other company sent a guy who looked at my equipment and said he couldn't repair it until it stopped working completely (AHS rules, not theirs) and closed my case. The ac went out in the worst part of the summer on a Friday evening. I couldn't make an appointment until Monday and then the first available appointment was a week out. Then, the original technician quit so they had to send a different tech and then order parts. It was weeks without ac. All the while I was wishing Greenway had been called Instead. Service is always correct and with minimal delay. Thanks for always providing great service.

I paid my $100 deductible for him to come out and tune-up my unit for the cooler months. He went into my attic upstairs and I thought he was actually tuning up the system. He walked outside for a few minutes and came back in. On his way out, he told me that he did not service the units and didn't bother looking at the unit in my primary bedroom closet attic because the other unit looked clean. He also told me not to have it serviced for another 3 years and that he hate that I paid AHS for him to come out.

    Well when you go to sell your home, showing that your systems has been properly maintained is a seller's advantage and it also maintains the life of the units. What a waste of my money. I feel bamboozled.

    I never made him aware that I work in real estate and deal with this on a regular basis when it comes up on inspection reports. However, after he left, I reached out two of my suppliers to find out if what he told me was true in regards to the frequency of servicing the unit, and both of them said I should have the unit serviced at least once per year. This makes it hard to trust service providers and I should not have to tell him that I work in real estate for him to do this job. It also does not sit well with me that I paid $100 for a service I did not receive. I will never have them come out again. Moving forward I will continue to use one of my HVAC vendor partners as I have done in the past.

We had an easy fix that did not require parts. Jim showed me where the hose was loose, tightened it up, tested it and was on his way. Charged me $45 less than another shop wanted who could not get to me for 48 hours. Highly recommend.

Jim gave his over the phone because he had seen this same problem countless times with our specific model. The other company charged $190 to come out to do the estimate and gave us an estimate for replacing 2 parts for $700 HIGHER than 1st Choices estimate! Jim replaced the 1 part and it’s now cooling better than it has in a month. Jim was very nice and I loved his honesty, integrity, and hard work ethic which can seem difficult to find. First, I was not able to get an appointment after work or on Saturday. I work in Nashville and live in Williamson County, and it is not easy to take off for repairs during the week, especially when Sears gives you a four-hour window of time. Secondly, because I had to go to work, I specifically requested that I be first (8 o'clock) on the list the day of my repair, and the phone person said he would put me first. NOT. At 8:45, I called, and the operator said my repair person would be there by 10:45! Third, I needed both dishwasher and washer repairs, and I specifically asked that ONE person come who could do both, and the phone person again agreed. NOT. They made two separate appointments, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (which would have meant my taking off an entire day of work), with two different repair persons. I canceled the second one. So many people work during the week, it would seem a no brainer to have repair people available after work or on Saturdays. The repair people can take another day off! And don't tell me on the phone that you will do things and then not do them.

He called ahead and let me know when he would arrive and he arrived right on time. He was nice, friendly, was ok with my little doggies, and was out of here in an hour. AND, the price he quoted was so reasonable, I was surprised and pleased. He was very careful to get the machines back in place. He tried them to be sure they worked before he left. He talked to my landlord and explained the problem and the fix. He bragged about his company and said they are really good people!

    I have used Music City Appliance on a few occasions. One time Chris came to replace an igniter on my gas range and while he was here he took my oven door apart so I could clean the glass panels! That alone was worth the service call but there was no extra charge. You can feel confident in Music City Appliance Service!

Diagnosis: compressor fried
– $79 diagnostic fee, paid 6/12/2020
– $905 quote to replace fridge with used fridge he had, or $1,200 parts/labor to fix compressor – took this second option, paid $945 total upon delivery, which he said would be the next day, and it wasn’t.

6/14/2020: Delivery/replacement of fridge
At delivery, we requested 1) adjustment of right side french door, as it was sitting lower and missing bolt/nut at hinge and 2) ice maker bucket replacement since the one he brought over was cracked/damaged.
Unprofessional during delivery: he arrived with his 18 year old son, and 10 year old daughter at 9:15 PM. As he and his son worked on hauling away the old refrigerator, and bringing in and installing the purchased refrigerator, his 10 year old daughter was in the kitchen, looking around at everything. Friendly child, and yet — why is there a child in my home? Delivery was completed and they left the premises at 10:45 PM.

We also noticed, after the fact, that the fridge we purchased is from 2014 per the manufacturer/model number. Jim had told us the fridge he had for us was from 2016.

It took Jim a very long time to bring over the replacement bucket and repair the door. He was non-responsive to texts and calls for days at a time, and would cancel/change tentative appointments. Only after expressing the possibility of me returning fridge under the 45 day warranty and getting a full refund, and to additionally write to the BBB, he responded immediately and showed up that same day. It had been at least 3 weeks after initial delivery, if not longer.

8/21/2020 – noticed items in “new” freezer were beginning to frost over, and the ice maker was leaking, and the fridge portion seemed to be warmer than normal.

8/23/2020: ice maker leaking water, ice cubes from dispenser always preceded by lots of water. Ice cubes were melty looking and misshapen. The fridge temp noticeably higher, and it’s been determined that the fridge is broken completely.

Came for service call on Saturday and I paid the “ diagnostic fee”, with his response being he would have answers on Monday. No text Monday so I followed up on Tuesday. I was blown off with him stating he was waiting on the reps to get back to him. Continued to get excuses all week. No answers.
    I was able to call the tub company and get through on first try in the meantime. He also took my leftover paint and has thus far( and after several requests to return), not dropped my leftover paint off. It’s been 3 weeks.
    2.5 hours of my time wasted plus 99$ for a diagnosis of nothing.
    Beware, this felt extremely scam like to me and I would not recommend. It was disrespectful of my time, money, and horrible lack of follow through.
    I hope no one else has to go through this.

They even called to let me know there was an earlier appointment available because someone had canceled! Of course I took the new earlier one! The repairmen were courteous, friendly and efficient. It took 2 trips for him to do the diagnosis, place the order for the compressor and finally install it. I had a wonderful experience dealing with Josh. He was very professional, responsive and punctuation (actually sooner than he estimated completion time). He answered whatever questions that I asked and even provided some advices about my dishwasher which was not part of this repair. Now the refrigerator is back to work as a brand new unit. I am so happy with his work and I definitely recommend Sterling Service Group to anyone who need to repair their appliances.
