The guy showed 2 hours late, he checks my washer and say is going to cost me 560.00 to replace the drainage pump this way over charge, and that the pump wasn’t in he’s truck that he had to order it and it will take 3 weeks to get it 3 weeks!!! the guy was already late almost 6 pm he was tired he dint want to do the job but i got charge 75.95 for repair thats what he put on the invoice repair!!! For one to schedule an appointment you have to give them your credit card number to charge you 65.00 for the diagnosis if you chose to fix it with them than that fee is waived, i told them over the phone that i font feel comfortable giving them my card number because if it was ove 500.00 I wasn’t going to fix it , than she say for a problem such as yours the repair fee range from 150 to 250.00 i say no i will just call someone local that doesn’t charge of to star diagnostic fee for some reason she ended up convincing me the name Sears is trustworthy so o book the appointment, now i know why sears is out of business they are just no honest i call a local guy and he had the part with him and fix my washer in less than 30 minutes and i only pay 180.00 sears i will never buy from or call sears anymore every Ampliances i always got from sears that a thing of the past ,

I should have know when the automated service scheduled the appointment, took my credit card and then told me there was an error, sending me to a human (hurray) who sent me back to the automated service two more times to experience the exact same circle.
Once scheduled, the service guy who called wanted to make 100% sure we were willing to pay the $89 service fee before arrival. It was so obnoxious that I asked if he felt he’d be able to help. Of course, upon arrival, after a very quick two minute check and $89 he said it would cost $1,100 to repair, not too much more than our refrigerator cost. When he left, he promised he’d send an email with the quote and details, etc. No big surprise here but no quote.

The whole thing felt unprofessional and like a sham. We will never use this service again.

He didn't try to upsell or overcharge for any fixes that he didn't feel like were necessary for our gas stove. He was extremely knowledgeable about our gas range, being able to identify the model almost immediately. He also gave us great tips on what to do if we ever believed there was a gas leak. I hired this company to fix my washing machine. A month later, it had the same issue. A tech came out and did the fix. Another month and a half go by and the washing machine has the same issue. When I called, they said they would charge me another diagnostic fee to come out again. The manager Edward refused to work with me to come to a solution and even went as far as to tell me he knew the drain pipe was installed correctly because “he is a man”. Not only is my washer not fixed, but the sexism with the manager is completely unprofessional. A $500+ “fix” and nearly 6 months later, I will need to call yet another company to come fix the issue.

Genuinely the worst consumer experience I’ve had with a service company to date.

Andrey sent a text before arriving and diagnosed the problem right away. Even though he had other appointments and still had to pick up my part he was willing to come back to do the repair the same day. He was professional, knowledgeable and most of all very honest. I am very picky who I hire so it was a pleasant surprise to have a professional , friendly and efficient technician. I would certainly hire again and most definitely will refer to friend, family and clients.

Harold C rated it 1/5: Paid this company $600 ($595.89) to repair my refrigerator. My ice maker and top fridge was not working because of ice buildup. I was told three parts were causing this problem. So after paying almost 3X the retail cost for these parts ($386) and $179 in labor; the same ice buildup is happening.
I didn't notice this until over 30-days after the repair. When I did notice it, I immediately called the repairman. He stated he will come out and look at it but it will cost me additional because it was over 30-days. I reminded him I just paid him almost $600 and told him I am NOT paying anymore. He agreed to look at it.

He came out and melted the ice buildup then vacuumed under my fridge and claimed the dirt under my fridge was the reason for the buildup of ice. I'm not even going to comment what I feel about that diagnosis.

24-hours later the ice starting building up again. It hasn't stopped since. I paid this guy almost $600 for a waste of time, waste of parts and a fridge that still is not repaired. Both times he basically came out and defrosted (melted) the ice.

I guess my only alternative is small claims.

Samantha Ann rated it 1/5: Our front loading whirlpool washer gave us the A10 code. We did the troubleshooting and figured out the part that needed to be replaced. We called a large national repair place, not Premier, and they indicated that they didn't carry those parts regularly and it would have to be ordered. So we decided, based on that information, to go ahead and procure the part from a local Whirlpool dealer. We realize the other company was too big so we then called Premier. They are telling us, that even though we got the part today, from a local whirlpool parts dealer, that they cannot install it. In other words, I guess they need to do a price increase. Their excuse is that it's their "policy" and that it has something to do with warranty. The part is warranted. They just don't wanna do the work because they won't make as much money. I am very disappointed in this company.

Scheduling a service call was quick and easy BUT it was down hill from there. It was determined we needed a new motor, the part took more than 2 weeks to get (which i paid for in advance) and then I had to follow up to schedule them to come back out. The humming was gone after the new motor was put in but then 45 days passed and the motor stopped working/stop cooling the refrigerator – they only give a 30 day warranty. Ridiculous!
Wonder if it was even the motor that needed replacing?!
Had to buy a new refrigerator and I am out a few hundred dollars for a 45 day repair.

Al Bundy rated it 1/5: We asked Solo Appliance Repair to come out and repair a built-in Frigidaire that wasn't cooling optimally. Again, it was working fine, just not optimally. They came out the same day, which was nice, but they only recommended "condenser maintenance," which was essentially the cleaning of the mechanism, which we immediately agreed to. Note that they did leave a big mess. They did state "no warranty for maintenance"; however, we woke up to a completely non-functioning refrigerator the following day.
We lost all of our food and frozen items, which was well over $1,000 to replace; maybe more when you factor in the locally caught Blue Fin.

We immediately reached out first thing in the morning, and they dragged their feet in getting back to us all day, despite repeated outreach on our part. They then followed up and said that they could send a technician out in three days. This is not acceptable for a family, one of which was heading into surgery. We reached out to their team over six times and asked for a refund after hunting down a new refrigerator amid Covid supply chain nightmares; there are very few out there, and we ended having to buy a $4,000 unit.

It is now four days later and they are continuing to argue with us about refunding the $290.00.

We are now out of pocket on all of the food, the new refrigerator, the $290.00, and the time wasted asking them to refund our money. We didn't even ask for Solo Appliance Repair to replace the food.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would not ever recommend them and share this recommendation with friends, family, neighborhood, colleagues, and Nextdoor.

Jade rated it 1/5: Terrible – I'm really surprised these people are still in business. My washer broke and a tech came out same day (which was great, even though he brought his child along, which was a bit bizarre). He performed a diagnostic, told me what was broken, and quoted the repair. Seemed reasonable so I proceeded to pay half, as requested, and was assured they would order the parts and be back to complete the job within 5 business days. It's worth noting that I was never provided a receipt, even after asking for an itemized copy to ensure parts were actually ordered.
TWO WEEKS LATER after repeated follow ups (and being lied to about the status of the parts order – turns out they LOST one!), the tech comes back only to tell me the problem was something else and would be "very expensive." I questioned why he didn't catch that in his diagnostic and he tried to blame me ("you said it was the electrical, so that's where I focused")! Very odd that a "professional" wouldn't perform a thorough diagnostic, despite the fact that I paid for one.

I'm really not even sure if this is a legitimate business. In any event, they are incompetent and unprofessional. Would highly recommend going with a different company if you need any appliance repairs.
