I have used them for the past six months and each time I walk in after they leave, my home always has a fresh clean welcoming smell. My husband has severe allergies so their cleaning products are great with no harsh smell. Devaney is my preferred cleaner, she is respectful, polite and takes extra care of my household items and does a thorough immaculate job ,
with dusting, mopping and general house cleaning. I feel comfortable having her come in and clean when I’m away, and I love the extra touches of how she folds the ends of the paper towels/ toilet tissue and displaying their Home Maid Better card after cleaning. I highly recommend this housekeeping service. Home Maid Better has made my life better!

We are first time home buyers and this was my first time using a cleaning service since previously we lived in an easy to clean one bedroom, and I have to say these two went above and beyond what I was expecting. They were very thorough and finished my 3 bedroom house in about 3 hours when I was fully expecting an all day affair. I added on the oven and fridge/freezer which I recommend for anyone who uses their oven frequently. To top it all off the house feels like it did when we first moved in! I highly recommend not only Home Maid Better but also these two lovely ladies to anyone looking for a cleaning service!
M G rated it 1/5: Update: (Currently about a month later and after reading the owner’s response to this review) I spoke with one of the owners, Dan, a day or two after the cleaning and expressed my concerns with the work that was done. I told him that many of the services listed in the description of the move in/out service were not completed, which I was concerned about. During our talk he asked what would make me satisfied with the situation and I said a full or majority refund. In his response below he states that he asked if I would change or update my review. This is not the case… (I would like to make this very clear) from my perspective it seemed as if he would only give me a refund if I removed the review completely. He asked if I received a refund if I’d remove this review to which I said no. I specifically told him that I would, however, update my review to include information saying I was refunded and the issue was resolved but I WOULD NOT REMOVE THE REVIEW COMPLETELY. In his response below he also brings up that a construction crew was working at the house which is true. We had a couple plumbers working in the master bath and on the kitchen sink which should not have gotten in the way of their cleaning. They were able to clean the master bathroom even though the plumbers were supposedly in their way. Not sure how plumbers in the kitchen and bathroom keep you from dusting the blinds or shelves in the living room. The main concern I have is that if you say a service includes certain things I expect those things to be done. It clearly lists on the website that dusting of shelves and blinds is apart of the move in/out service so I’m not sure why that wasn’t even done.
Not sure if this hold any weight but I’m not one to write reviews… but this service was bad enough to where I felt like I needed to write my first review.

NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I was charged $350 for the move in/out service only to find that most of the house was still dirty when I returned.

I received a phone call from the company earlier that morning telling me that they were not going to be able to clean baseboards and cabinets due to paint chipping which is understandable. I did not however expect them to completely skip over all the base board and cabinets including the ones that didn’t have paint chipping off, which is what they did. I was also told that the cleaners were unable to get the dirt off the blinds but later tested this for myself and found that the dirt scrubs off easily with a little light scrubbing.

I came home to find numerous marks on the walls and woodwork (from the people living here not the cleaners… hopefully) that had not been cleaned off, dust on living room shelves and mantel that the cleaners didn’t even try to clean, a partially cleaned kitchen counter, dirty kitchen appliances, dusty blinds, and dirty baseboards and cabinets

Would not recommend this company and would give them a 0/5 stars if I could!

Also: Talked to the customer service about the fridge not being cleaned (they didn’t clean the fridge because they ran out of time but they did not charge me for that service which was nice) and then called again a couple more times about 30 min later when I saw the other things that weren’t cleaned and they didn’t answer my calls but they answered my roommate’s call when he tried. Maybe a coincidence… maybe not

I thought they would take out sofa cushions and clean under them. Also noted they did not sweep under sofa or the bed in masterbedroom.. My biggest beef is not knowing when they will come. Their convenient app tells you on the day of your cleaning what your two-hour window is …. but it changes. Today my cleaners were scheduled to arrive between 130 and 330 …. then it was 230 to 330 … then it was 330 to 430 …. then it was 430 to 545. At 415 I lost it, called the company to see if I just needed to reschedule. THEY WERE CLOSED. The business is open 7:30 to 4 pm but their house cleaners are working till what, 6 or 7? No, customer services needs to be available until all their cleanings are done for the day. I did find another number for the owner who I met with first and called that number – it wasn't the owner I was expecting but it was another man who could only tell me what the window was and that "they should be there anytime now …." I was so frustrated. Who wants to wait around all day for their house cleaners?!?

Got the first "deep clean" that is supposed to be an hourly charge but never get a receipt with a total. Then I see on the app $160 so I think fine. Well I'm charged almost $400 today, $150 for my second clean and over $200 for the first clean which they apparently never charged me for. She tells me they don't contact you for payment until you have missed 3 or 4 payments, that's crazy! I told her I never got anything regarding the price of the first clean just saw the app total of $160 and was told that's just the minimum and I should have been notified but didn't, "sorry". Poorly managed and unprofessional. Pricey for the actual work done considering they missed many areas on their specific checklist.

Found dirty cookware outside, no toilet paper left for guests, only left 7/12 towels for guests, toilet seat left up, opened food left in cabinet, and no shampoo for guests. So much more that I won’t list. Very disappointed especially for what we pay. We were told they handle most of the Airbnbs in town, if so, I question how great these look after the cleaning. Update: They asked me to change my honest review.

Kelly Jo Poss rated it 1/5: I’ve never hired a cleaning service, but after moving into a new-to-me old house, and having to commute 2+ hrs as we’re getting the house move-in ready, I broke down and hired this business to DEEP clean kitchen and bathrooms only. On their first visit, they haphazardly wiped down surfaces and vacuumed out drawers (mostly). Sides of countertops were still filthy, food was still stuck on cabinets, trash was still in drawers, toothpaste was still on mirrors and walls, soap scum still on shower tiles…the list goes on. One bathroom in the house was completely untouched. The cabinets, mirror and shower were filthy and junk was in the shower drain. I called the company and the woman I spoke with was very apologetic and said she would send someone else out the next day. I just returned to the house, and while some smudges had been removed from counters, the one bathroom had still not been touched, food was still on the cabinets, trash in the drawers, and so on. Extremely disappointed that I wasted the money I was hesitant to spend in the first place.

If your foolish enough to do business with him, make sure you talk to him about scheduled appointment times…you will see how quickly things go off the rails…
We had an appointment for 1:30pm. They showed up at 11:30am. And somehow it's the customer's fault…

So as I stated before you can see by the owners volumous response it's ALL about
"my time constraints" aka you can't hold me accountable for any appointments that I make….wished I lived in a world where I could blame other's for my short comings, failures and blanton disrespect… Caveat Emptor….
