Robert Love rated it 1/5: We requested a deep clean and they came to give me an estimate. At the time they told me a house of my size would take 2-3 hours. When the team arrived they were in and out in 90 minutes. I found dirt in my rugs, counters not wiped down, dust on furniture, they even took my bed sheets off and put a mattress pad on instead of new sheets. I reached out very politely the same day to go over this and sent them 40 pictures of different areas that were missed. This was not some simple “missed a spot” issue. And while some things were done well, this was not the deep clean I requested. I paid them over $100 to vacuum more poorly than I can do on my own. We do a better job wiping down the dining room table. At the end of the visit, I pointed out a spot I was unhappy with and they said they had scrubbed, but couldn’t get that area fixed. That night I took some cleaning solution, sprayed the problem area, and fixed it myself.
They did offer to send someone out to reclean the house, but one of the cleaners had asked us about a bunch of electronics that we had. They pointed out how much we had, extras laying around. They made someone I lived with slightly uncomfortable, and they did not want their team back in our home. I mentioned all of this to the person I called and they said management would reach out, likely the next day. I waited four days, no response, so I decided to call and check in as I had also never been given a receipt. When I called in, the woman I talked to said I had spoken to management on Monday. So why did the person I spoke to on a Monday tell me a supervisor would reach out, but then four days later someone else tell me I had already spoken with them? Very frustrating as they then tried to get me to settle for a reclean. Why did it take four days and three phone calls to get a receipt?

In the end, I spent more time tidying up around the house prior to their arrival and more time afterwards going over the spots they missed than they spent cleaning my house. And the lack of follow up when I voiced a complaint really showed more than anything they don’t care. I was very patient with them, I did not yell or be rude. All I asked was for a simple follow-up call. Instead I paid a great deal of money for stuff I could’ve done myself. I was excited to jump on board with this service monthly so that I could give that time spent cleaning back to myself and focus on other things around the house, but some things are better done yourself.

They’ve both been extremely friendly, good with our dog, and go above and beyond to make our house look flawless. Small details like folding the toilet paper, and fluffing the tissues make it feel like you’re at a hotel, rather than your own bathroom!

Plus, they’ve been either on-time, or a few minutes early both times, and give you a heads up when they’re on their way – which is greatly appreciated.

Julie O'Connor rated it 1/5: First time using this service. Staff were personable and thorough. Only concern is hardwood floors had to be physically dried by us after being mopped. I would give them a "4" out of "5" for this reason.
I rated the service BEFORE noticing several areas of concern, other than the issue with our hardwood floors being overly wet, and our having to dry them. Later on 8/9 (date of service), I was in our second bedroom and noticed a mirror had not been wiped down. That got me looking around more closely. I discovered that none of the pictures on the walls in this room had been properly dusted (all tops of frames still dirty), and later discovered the window blind in our kitchen had been damaged, and was sagging, as a result of 2 center draw cords being broken. The following day, I called in the morning, explained the reason for my call, and was assured someone would get back to me. Did not happen. On 8/11, at 8:43a I spoke with Kim, in customer service, explaining that I was still waiting for a call back. Carlos, the franchise owner, called me at 9:25a, and after discussing the wet floor, un-dusted pictures, and broken blinds, he asked for pictures of the blinds, which I promptly sent. He said he would speak with the cleaners, and get back with me. I have never received a callback from him, despite my 5 calls requesting an update. I have now cancelled future service. Their professional brochure is what got me to take their service, but it is a Trojan Horse. Carlos is unprofessional in addressing customers' concerns. Replacing the blind will cost me almost $100 (the 1st visit cost me $150). My complaint to the BBB, and other entities, will be worth my time. BEWARE!

I then found the charge they had taken out for the service was vastly above what was agreed on and explained to me. Stay away! There are much more professional cleaning services out there for a fraction of the cost.

He failed to mention that he is only pricing the mold mitigation. He failed to mention that they have a second department that handles fixing or putting anything back that they break or take out. We contracted them to clean a six bedroom, two story home that was being occupied by messy, stinky, busy college boys. There were casualties of beer pong and chewing tobacco everywhere. Dirty socks, dirty dishes and garbage thrown everywhere. I was afraid Cleanology would turn me down when they saw the disaster. But they showed up and like machines they went into action cleaning the sticky, smelly kitchen, the two bathrooms-let's not even go there but let's just say it was bad. They cleaned the living rooms, the entry way, all the shared spaces. They hauled out a ton of trash. They finished in RECORD time, I mean, I was shocked how quickly they accomplished so much. The house sparkled and smelled great. The boys came home to a clean slate (only to resume their partying and mess making) but they were extremely happy with the results, we all were. One of the young men suffers from severe allergies and because the Cleanology team uses natural products, he did not experience any issues like he normally would.
Their fee was very reasonable but for the job they did, honestly? I would have paid more. ha ha, hope they don't see that and charge me more next time 🙂
They are like cleaning angels and I wish I had that talent, but since I don't, I'm glad they are a phone call away. Thanks Cleanology!
