Jeanette Jin rated it 1/5: As a customer, when you receive a service for something and you are unhappy with the service, it is within a reasonable expectation that when you communicate your dissatisfaction, especially to the business owner, that they will hear what you have to say and hopefully work out a solution to make both parties happy. Instead I was lectured at, yelled at, and brought to tears.
In this almost 20 minute conversation, Kevin the business owner, cut me off so many times that I didn’t even get a chance to tell him why I was dissatisfied with the cleaning because he was upset about what ended up to be a misunderstanding about the pricing.

I was unhappy because I paid $650 for a rug (9 x 12) cleaning at my home and by the time the rug was dry there was still dust plumes coming out of the rug. While Kevin did offer to have his technician come back a second time, I felt extremely uncomfortable given the way that Kevin had spoken to me.

To future customers, Carpet Gigs will provide timely service (if you get Dante he was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive), but if you are unhappy with the service provided, beware — in the business owner's own words “I don’t believe that the customer is always right”.

We normally are a high-traffic acupuncture clinic and thanks to the New Life Carpet Care crew, our 1450 sq/ft of rugs and carpets don't look it. We had started having them come twice annually (although this year was a little different of course).

Our big clean is during the holiday break in December and at this point, I feel comfortable enough with the owner to let them into the space and not have to wait for them to finish. This level of trust is really valuable to me and I appreciate it so much.

So we highly recommend them for your home or office cleaning needs. Our big thanks to their team!

Why I called the receptionist said the technician had covid and that they had tried to call and email me. I did not receive any emails, texts, or phone calls from them ever.
When I rescheduled for a pick up cleaning, the receptionist assured me that they had my information correct and that my new appointment was confirmed. AGAIN the technician never showed up AND I haven heard from the company as to why.
Hopefully this is not their normal way of treating customers/clients. However, my experience was very disappointing and I would tell anyone who asks about getting their carpets cleaned from New Life Carpet Care, to go anywhere else.

You would think after all these years maintaining a client relationship would be important but after a year of thoughtful feedback to management and requests it's only not improving and in fact, going in the other direction. We understand that it is hard to hire in this market but every week it's a new face and we have to explain everything all over again. We almost always added a tip at the end of our service, gave big Christmas gifts and knew the name of our housekeeper and about her life and family. Now it's just nameless faces.

I was resigned to the fact that I would just have to get new carpets, because I have had them steam cleaned several times before, but I am glad I called Sparkling Carpets. The total job was for a house, and the rate was estimated prior to them coming, all on the phone , based on the square footage and condition of the carpets and cleaning required. They accommodated when I requested for Sunday. No need to hustle with people (3 were present for the work) after they arrived and they spent 4.5 hours to do it . Regularly they asked if they are doing a good job and they were open to suggestions. I Recommend them.

We just opened up a new sports facility in Oakland and needed to have our concrete and bathroom floors sealed. We received quick responses from the business, we’re able to schedule an on-site walk through, and then had the service completed with no delays. The floor looks great and the whole team did an amazing job. We will absolutely be calling again the next time we need any of the services they offer, as we host group and private events year round.
