Every single spot was still in my carpet. I even have faded circles in my carpet now. The only full room he had to do was the living room and it look HORRIBLE. I called home advisory and complained and he said he wouldn’t return because I wrote a review on him nor did he want to give my money back for the poor quality of work he has done. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I could have gotten a rug doctor and cleaned my carpet better then he did. Only thing good I can say is he was on time.
*****update I had another Capet cleaning company come and clean my carpet because Carpet DryClean refused to come back or give me my money back. Now my carpet looks wonderful.

Allen and his partner did an excellent job. Our floors have never looked better. They arrived on time in uniforms ready to perform the job. They were courteous, knowledgeable, quick and thorough. In our main area (busiest / most traffic) our technician failed to move our couch, which has always been moved without asking. When asked about moving the couch the technician said that we didn't specifically ask to move it / clean under the couch. When mentioned, the technician did not offer to fix the mistake and was ready to leave. Additionally, he was trying to charge us an extra $30 for a stairwell, after I was told that could be counted as a room. (He did fix that). I called to share my dissatisfaction, the manager did offer for the gentleman to come back, which I was not interested in, as he didn't seem willing to correct the oversight. I have kids, dogs and we prepare to have our carpets cleaned by keeping kids / dogs away AND moving furniture. It is an inconvenience and disruption to my household to make this happen ALL over again. I was not offered a refund (even partial). Poor cleaning service and even worse customer service. After 15+ years of being a regular customer, I will no longer be using Sears Carpet / Green Clean.

Got online and read a bunch of reviews of people claiming that they were told one price on the phone, but once the technician arrived, they were upcharged significantly for incidentals or came without the proper equipment to do the proper cleaning. We thought…hey…that's gotta be a fluke, how could a company get away with doing that type of thing?
SURPRISE! Technician came out saying the total was going to be "X+Y", and he didn't come to do a steam cleaning, he came out with a glorified vacuum cleaner. News flash, I can vacuum my own carpets, we asked for a STEAM CLEANING and were told all three pieces would come to X, and the technician is saying only two of those things came to X and that the third would cost Y. This is NOT miscommunication, this is completely shady service dealing. The evidence is in the frequency in which this happens to other people. Now mind you, Sears is probably going to see this and offer me a way to get this looked into further, which is amazing, seeing as how no one needs this looked into further; we need this type of offhanded dealing dealt with permanently.

They showed up and looked over the rooms and then told me it would be $495. The man said he had to add $75 per room because they are over 200ft and another charge for the “cleaning agent”. That is totally bizarre to me. He said he would not move furniture or clean under the beds, so this left hardly any carpet to clean anyways. I politely declined and will be going with another carpet cleaning company.

They arrived on time, took time to look at the carpets before they cleaned them- to ensure that they used the correct products for any stains present, explained everything to me clearly and simply, and then completed the job quickly and for a fair price. The price was an important factor for me due to the many expenses included in moving and the fact that a professional carpet cleaning was required upon move out at my former rental home. Not only were their prices more reasonable than every other company that I spoke with, but they did not even try to push me to pay for things that I did not need.

When I dropped the rug off, I had the opportunity to meet Robert, the owner. He is very charismatic and gave me a tour of the facility. I felt like I was on an elementary school field trip – it was great. He explained what each of the machines did and that they try to be as green as possible – there is a cistern to collect rain water! They not only clean rugs and carpets, but also sofa cushions and other upholstery items.
My rug was ready before the original date they had provided. All of the people that work at Pettyjohn's are very friendly and professional. They seem to take a lot of pride in their work and their reputation. I would definitely use Pettyjohn's again the future.

My elderly father has incontinence and had more than a few accidents on my car's driver side seat. Everyone I called quoted me a low price and then said this was a battle I'd be fighting for a long time. No one could guarantee they'd be able to remove the smell.
Somehow while googling I found Pettyjohns and decided to call them. I spoke to Katie and then Amy who quoted what sounded like an expensive price. But I figure you get what you pay for and their website guaranteed their work. I am so beyond glad I went to see them. Not only did they get the smell out, but they also discovered the urine was eating away at the cotton fibers in the seat and it was about to snap. They took the time to stitch this back together and save me an extremely costly and difficult repair. And they didn't charge me anything extra for it either. They also gave me excellent advice on how to prevent this from occurring again without embarrassing my dad.

Like I said, they take pride in their work.

Jason's crew showed up on time and did a walk through to look at the 2 bedrooms and 2 mohair sofas to be cleaned. They went to work and did their magic. The stains we identified on the wall to wall carpets were treated and did quite well. The sofas look great. I am sensitive to smells and there was no lingering odor from the products they use. Very pleased with how professional and friendly the team was. Would highly recommend Caravan for carpets and upholstery cleaning.

Very disappointing especially because they came highly recommended by a friend and by another carpet cleaning company. I guess they don't need business. I wouldn't spend my money with a company that is disrespectful from the get go.
Scott Riggs rated it 1/5: Do not do business with these people. I brought in a rug to be cleaned. 2 weeks turnaround ended up being a month. When I picked it up there was a damaged area that had been depilated down to the foundation. Had to bring it back in. The woman was extremely rude (seems to be a trend from other comments). She said they had no liability, though she didn't deny causing the damage, and told me to "color it in with markers myself if I wanted it fixed." She then took my invoice copy and refused to give it back! Ended up calling the cops to due to her threatening and unstable behavior. She proceeded to lie to the cops face and claimed "she lost it". Lots of doomsday babble mixed in. She seems unhinged.
They made no attempt to correct the situation or stand behind their work, and with such poor quality I am not surprised. I ended up having to pay actual professionals to repair the damage done by Ace, but the rug will never be quite the same. Avoid at all costs. There are many better options locally.
