They were prompt to arrive in the morning and put down tarps in all the areas they were working in. They were all very polite and professional the entire day. It was a long day for them as they did not finish until about 6pm. They explained how to use the new damper before they left and asked if we had any other questions. We felt they did a great job! I liked that I received a text that they were on their way, they arrived within the time frame I was given & the technicians were very considerate (wearing shoe covers & parking in a way that allowed me to access my driveway). When that happened in the middle of the pandemic I called Chimney bear and they were super helpful. They came out to do an inspection today and were very honest about the condition and what actually needs to be done. I trust that I received an honest evaluation of the condition of the chimney and the work it actually needs. We also we’re having issues with smoke coming in because the latch on the flue had broken and he fixed it for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company over the other huge company that was not honest and only out to make a big buck. The technician actually told us we did not need and he would not recommend some of the work that the other company insisted had to be done.

Kyle, the sales agent, did a really nice job explaining how the product worked and showing me various options. He did not pressure me into buying and was very candid about the size that would work best. He was very helpful in helping me pick a complimentary color of the awning. The product arrived in a couple of weeks and the install appointment was quick. The installers were very helpful and showed me how to work everything. They also provided suggestions on how to help secure the side panel and tips on maintaining the product. The awning is really nice and we are enjoying our deck for many more hours in the day now. Im glad i purchased front panel to help with the late hours sun angle. I would highly recommend this product and company.

My main concern was that whoever was sent would know how to service my Pacific Energy Neo 2.5 Fire Insert; and Dave appeared to know exactly what to do. For that alone, I was grateful. After they left I started a small fire with some kindling wood to be certain there was a good draw to keep the wood burning till it was just ash and carbon.😎

And cleanup was perfect. They worked with me for a long time BC I had issues with the realtor company who owns the house next door and wasn't playing nicely. I didn’t even see them use tools to go up inside of it. They basically waved a shop vac around the firebox and it was still filthy afterwards anyway. Do not hire these guys. It was a complete waste of $250. They are more focused on getting you to buy recurring services than providing quality work. Tellingly they do not accept credit cards either so you have no recourse to dispute charges. Buyer beware.

The whole process was done professionally and every aspect of the process was explained in detail from start to end. Rafael in particular explained each step in detail and displayed pictures of each step before, during, and after the job was done. That was awesome because it instills confidence that the job is being done correctly and on time! I felt like i was on the roof with him seeing exactly what he saw during the whole process. She explained every step of the process even before she started the work. She showed me pictures of every part. When she saw other things that were not right she pointed that out and fixed it and what was needed to get the heat back on. Mirna also did a proposal for me for the future to fix the problem permanently! I am so glad I found them because they gave me a quick appointment and they completed the entire job quickly!!

Christina Moreth rated it 5/5: We were looking for a company to do a fireplace/chimney inspection per our inspector's recommendation when we bought our home, and a friend suggested Ignite because they'd had such a great experience with them. We scheduled a free inspection with Ignite and Allen set it up immediately. We found out the boiler and the fireplace needed relining, as well as some masonry work with the chimney. We were so impressed with the original inspection. Allen took his time to explain everything in detail, pictures included, as well as all of our options. We did get inspections and quotes from two other companies, but ultimately, Ignite was the obvious choice. Not only were they incredibly professional, knowledgeable and efficient, their pricing was the most reasonable. Allen was able to schedule the install/repair two weeks later. I didn't expect the process to be SO quick and painless. Allen and the masons treated our house like it was their own; they were prepared with runners and plastic and a vacuum and left everything spotless. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and were overall a pleasure to deal with. We are more than happy with the outcome and will absolutely be using Ignite for all our maintenance needs and future projects. HIGHLY recommend without hesitation!

They completed the work in a timely manner and explained everything they did in detail so I was aware of what was completed. All work was done professionally and Allen was great to work with. Allen was able to inspect the work we needed to be done and he explained everything in detail with pictures. I also received quotes from two other companies but ended up going with Ignite as they were the easiest to work with and the price they quoted me at was what I ended up being charged. Allen did find some issues during his inspection but he was very up front with me about what work needed to be completed and allowed me to customize work to be done immediately and what we could hold of on till a later date most of the work he completed was originally done incorrectly, but Allen walked me through how the work was done in the past and what he would do to complete the job the correct way. I had a reasonable estimate within a few days, and less than two weeks after the initial visit his team arrived to install the new unit. They did a very professional and friendly job, taking extra time and effort to resolve an issue with fitting the new unit into my old fireplace, and to make sure I knew how to operate it. The new gas log unit looks beautiful and works great, and I'm looking forward to a cozy winter with it! I wholeheartedly recommend Ignite for its great service and high-quality product.

We just bought a new home and to our surprise it needed extensive work. A full reline for both the appliance flue and fireplace flue along with a chimney rebuild. We received a quote and once approved the project was complete within a few weeks. The entire team at ignite chimney is hands down amazing. They took care of my home in a way you never knew the work even took place. I recommend ignite chimney to the fullest.

From the first time I called in to ask questions and schedule an inspection I was met with tremendous professionalism and knowledge. I needed a cleaning and asked them to quote a gas log installation. They were prompt to the appointment, gave me multiple options and explained each one thoroughly. We chose to purchase through them for the logs and install. They were able to come back the next day to do the deep cleaning and installation. Again, we were met with friendly and knowledgeable service and could not be happier with the job they did. Would recommend Ignite 10 out of 10 times, you can trust they know what they are doing!

Other chimney repair folks could only give us a list of local brickyards and wish us luck. Jorge and the rest of the crew did a great job repairing our 3 chimneys. They even found an old, intact, 1959 Chicago Tribune newspaper stuffed between the exterior brick and chimney tile in one of them. Very reasonable quote for the amount of work, too.

They came for a chimney inspection and cleaning on a 100 year old bungalow… the previous owners had never used the chimney and we were seeking insight on if it was safe. I explained that my fireplace would ignite but would go out after awhile. They thoughtfully explained how fireplaces need to be cleaned out periodically but they will check for anything else.

They meticulously cleaned the fireplace and that solved the issue. They were friendly and informative. I highly recommend Spark Chimney Services!
