I'm not sure who I spoke to, but after him mumbling to tell me that he's a "specialist" and knows what kind of cleaning my carpet needs without having seen it, he hung up on me. I spent most of the call trying to understand what he was saying. He was rude for absolutely no reason.

They were very polite and attentive to what I wanted completed. We scheduled the appt with a customer service rep and inquired about Covid protocols before booking. The rep assured us the cleaner would be masked. The cleaner presented himself at the door without a mask and said he didn’t have any. Before allowing him in the house we supplied him with a mask. He asked if he could go without his mask while servicing our home. We inquired about his vaccination status, he advised he was unvaccinated and had Covid 2x as recently as a month ago. We advised him to stay masked in the home while working, as we were wearing ours while he was in our home. He complied. His did not pre treat the spots on the carpet as indicated in the ad for Stanley Steamer(SS) and he insisted the pre treat solution was in the cleaning solution. Due to the first poor cleaning and edge work neglect, he was asked to re clean the carpet stairs and rug with the appropriate attachment. Also, my husband reduced the solo cleaners work by moving ALL the furniture large and small in advance for SS cleaner to have easy access to areas needing cleaning. I noted in my inspection of the carpeting he did not move any remaining items which may have been left, ie cords a candle door stopper, etc.
All in all, the standard of SS quality cleaners has been lowered and was a disappointment. Their equipment was old, the water hose line connected to our water faucet outside was spraying water every where, therefore wasting our water, not sure the suction on the hose was as strong as it should be inside as well. He mentioned in a month or so new equipment was coming in.

It is necessary to inspect, inspect, inspect to get your monies worth from the cleaning. However, once dissatisfaction was known the cleaner did clean the carpet areas that were in question. The cleaner was pleasant and cooperative. We have used SS for years and though disappointed on several levels, we were happy that the carpets were cleaner. Had planned to have additional services but will look for other highly recommended vendors moving forward.

UPDATE: Stanley Steemer Management got involved and satisfactorily resolved this customer service issue. Thank you.

Update – We had Rotoclean back out to clean our carpets & tile floors. Brian went above and beyond with a very difficult cleaning situation. He faced the challenge of awful pet stains, and he really blew us away with his work! The carpets are so clean! I really couldn’t believe the difference. The company that we bought the building from left it here, it was gigantic with this customized inlay logo. As nice as it was we wanted to see about replacing it or resurfacing it. First, Eric was the only person skilled enough to even be willing to take the job on, secondly he made it look like completely perfect and original, you couldn't tell there was ever a logo there if you didn't know! Bravo to this man and his talent.

In a week the rug was cleaned, deodorized, and scotch guarded. They delivered it to my house, and placed it exactly where I asked. The price was very reasonable for the impeccable work that was done. Everyone I spoke with was so nice, I will not take my rugs anywhere else in the future.

So let’s just say it was a 100% price increase for argument’s sake… still not really a good business practice. And, I won’t bother with pettiness of what time I called you. Your person was not on time . Early is not always a positive. The fact that your driver left instead of waiting until the time scheduled is lack of punctuality.
Got an online estimate to clean area rug. Scheduled pick up for 8:30am. They showed up 15 minutes early and left at 8:20 because I didn’t know they had arrived. When I called the location at 8:34am the man was very rude and short with me. He told me they would come back after a delivery. They did. But the man picking up the rug had a terrible attitude and was short with me as well, they must be related! Then he gave me a bill that was 120% higher than the quote I was given online. Not a great way to conduct business. Needless to say, I am not paying $200 for a 7×7 rug to be cleaned. I can buy a new one for that!

Kyle recommended a pet barrier that eliminated the previous pet odor, and it worked GREAT! Kyle even helped me choose the perfect color to compliment my wall color! The installers did a great job, everything was very well done, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. They installed new carpet in 3 bedrooms and the closets, at a very reasonable price. The team that they assigned to our facility are very thorough when cleaning and pay attention to details. Each morning when we walk into our buildings, there is a very fresh smell and everything is clean. If they come across anything in our buildings that they find unusual, they will contact us immediately to ensure we are aware of any potential problems. Communication with them is great, they respond quickly and work with us with whatever situation we have. Billing is prompt and correct and any questions that we have are answered to our satisfaction. We were impressed from the minute they walked into our facility to give us a quote and we continue to be impressed with their services. We look forward to a long relationship with their company and would highly recommend them.

My roommates and I were in desperate need of an apartment cleaning before summer because the place was getting filthy and we required maid services. Making an appointment was a breeze, and they were really informative and kind. The first words from the Senior VIP, "this office is so clean, you have the cleanest in the company." He checked the restrooms, windows, everything. Being a concrete company, a dust free is office is quite the accomplishment. I highly recommend Jan-Pro. Robert, the regional, is excellent in communication and follow up.
