With 2 big daily lake-loving dogs and 3 cats, we might as well open a zoo, but instead at some point we thought “you know, let’s try a white-ish carpet in this huge living space.” Well the years took their toll, Stanley Steamers took our money, and our carpet would smell clean for a week or 2 but the stains always remained. These were deep, undefeatable (or so I thought), nasty stains that were always bad but would come up with the humidity and just looked terrible. Then we discovered Nick with Milwaukee Area Carpet Cleaning! We had a big party planned at our home and I wanted to at least have the carpets cleaned for arriving family and the general smell of the place, had seen some advertising on Facebook and thought I’d reach out to MACC and see if they could take the job on short notice, and they were more than happy to set a time within the week before the party! Nick arrived early, assessed the situation, and got to work. I don’t know if this guy is a sorcerer or some kind of carpet wizard or what, I mean I wasn’t expecting miracles, but here he was performing them. He took the time, mixing crazy concoctions for different stains and going to work on them with a sort of chemical/machine precision, and when he was done the room smelled fantastic and the stains were nowhere to be found. And the chemicals he used did not bother my chemical sensitivities/asthma!
Highly recommend hiring this company for your carpet cleaning needs. I know we will be again – in probably 6 months time at this rate (also toddler, small baby – plz send help 😮😋)

Nick was meticulous with the vacuuming and cleaning of our furniture to be sure they looked brand-new. We’ve had other companies come to our home who don’t vacuum prior to cleaning the furniture- this was an absolute game changer! We will most certainly be hiring MACC again.

Our carpet is older and we had pets, so the carpet either needed a professional cleaning or to be completely replaced. They were easy to book, did an initial cleaning and then came back for a touch up to take care of the wicking afterward. It looks good now and saved us from having to replace the carpeted areas before selling. They also cleaned our hardwood floors.
They really take their satisfaction guarantee seriously and were able to work with us on a timeline to get everything taken care of before staging our home. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and courteous. Nick was very good about communicating what the issue was after the initial cleaning and took care of the issue asap. We really appreciate their excellent level of service and the quality of the cleaning they did.

I was amazed by how quickly the rugs dried. I've had rugs cleaned in place before (by other companies) and it took days for the rugs to dry. Jeremy responded quickly to my voicemail message, scheduled within a week, arrived on time, and was very pleasant to work with. In fact, I asked him for estimates for cleaning my window and power washing the house. His estimate arrived promptly and seems very fair so I will be scheduling this additional work

Purchased a Groupon and was up-charged for 100% more than the price! Late to the appointment. Rushed the job. Carpet was left hard and filthy! No refund or reschedule to fix. The pictures are AFTER the cleaning and drying. The service I paid for was “sanitizing and cleaning” for $130. Basically, it’s just wet your floor and vacuum.

We called to ask for a remedy, but was told if we wanted them to fix the problem we would have to pay for them to return. After the carpets were “cleaned” by Adelman, I used a store bought carpet cleaner and removed a gross amount of dirt and I was able to make the room smell good again. The response from the company says we should have called to remedy the situation, but we did and were met only with excuses. I am extremely disappointed in the quality, the service, and the way this situation was handled.

Brian Dudley rated it 1/5: Wouldn’t work there. Boss Is Ungrateful. Always were on time even early on all my shifts. Couple weeks will go good, after you will see what I’m talking about. Most of the employees everyday late. This what I don’t get is you have to ask for a raise while the other job I’m at now gave me 3-4 raises in 2 years. Didn’t have to ask and the boss I’m working for is much better! Just know it’s not what you think working there!!

Not only does he work on Sundays (which 90%+ other carpet cleaners do not), but he was very understanding when there was a communication error, and he went out of his way to tack us on to his schedule at the end of the day. My call to get a quote was quick and informative, and hours later he was at my apartment doing the cleaning. AND he was able to provide a much needed receipt for my landlord for the move out process. First Derek called after our scheduled appointment time to say he had equipment problems and couldn't make it. After rescheduling for the following Mon, he was a no-call, no- show. My husband finally reached him on Tues and he said he would be there at 5, didn't get there til almost 6pm. He ended up leaving his garbage and more stains than were initially there. Not only that, the place where he left his machine soaked through and took over a week to dry. That area ended up with $400 worth of damage under the carpet through to the wood underneath. When we contacted Derek, he denied even being here and then hung up on my husband. He will not take any more of our calls. So we are left with carpet worse than before and an additional $400 expense to fix this. Do not use this company!!!
