The carpets smelled super fresh and the whole apartment smelled wonderful afterwards. It’s pretty clear how diligent Stanley Steemer is. They even wore booties on their feet to not let dirt in, and I forget why but they also made sure to put little protectors under the furniture they moved. Photos included.

The next time we need any carpets cleaned, the first thing we’re going to do is schedule another appointment with Stanley Steemer!

FOR ANYONE CONCERNED, they use carpet cleaning products that are pet and child-friendly. As soon as they finished, we were able to safely let our cat out of the bathroom.

gnx547 rated it 1/5: Well where do I start. First I was recommended to have a company come and clean my tile and grout in my kitchen, front of the fireplace, foyer, and downstairs. Everything they cleaned did not make a difference. Was not happy at all. The employee that cleaned it was not to happy with it and told me he wasn't going to lay a grout sealer. So I tried to get my money back and they would not do it unless they come out again and redo it. We fixed the tile and grout ourselves. And they also made 2 marks with there machine into our wood and damaged the wood inside our front door. They also left a mark onto our carpet. All I asked is to refund us our money for the services they did not do and they refused. I would have left this feedback alone and not posted anything but they would not. I would not recommend this company for anything. Stay away.

I called Groovy Maids to ask where their employee had gone, and they said they would contact her. She claimed that the house was cleaned, but I promise it was not.

I am posting a picture of my bathroom tub for reference.

They ended up charging my card and the management will not call me back. It is hit or miss, but be prepared to be charged either way.

It is partially our fault for trusting someone did a job you hired them to do but we were met out by the workers which we then paid. After going through the house we noticed nothing was actually cleaned we called them back out and they confirmed the work wasn't done the house was still a mess after many calls to them to follow up they say we owe them money that they didn't charge us and tried to make us pay them after admitting they didn't do the work that was in the contract. After many more attempts to resolve the issue they refused to do anything. Terrible company with terrible customer service.

With a wood burner in the living room, it added to the smoke smell in the carpets. Ducts, not carpets have ever been cleaned. Carpets were only 10 years old, mostly clean, but carried a strong smoke smell. Eric and his crew arrived on time. They were courteous and professional.
The crew was quick and efficient. The carpets turned out beyond my expectation, removing nearly all the smoke smell, which I thought would be impossible. Very pleasantly surprised with the carpets.

The duct work, was intense. I knew it would be VERY HEAVY contamination in the duct work. This is a custom built house, and had duct work designed outside the normal routing of duct work. Odd bends, split routing, individual dampers to control flow to each room in the house. A lot going on with the duct work. The crew had a tall order from me to accomplish. They did a great job.

Me being an OCD perfectionist, I was expecting 100% completely clean duct work, not a spec to be left. Very tall order given the circumstances. After the service was performed, I was putting my register covers back on, decided to run through the ventilation system with my inspection camera, found 1 or 2 trouble areas, that I fully understand would be difficult to access.

I called, spoke with Rick, the GM. Explained, hey these guys did a great job, there’s a couple areas I’d like to be touched up. Without hesitation, Rick said he’d said a crew out, asap.

Today, Eric showed back up, on time, polite and courteous as last time, talked with me, let me show him what I saw on camera and took care of it no questions asked.

This review is intended to highlight the professional I received from Eric, and Rick. As well as prompt, great customer service. My future duct and carpet cleaning business will stay with this company. I had a very tall order, they delivered.

I called this time and they sent a very rude condescending individual named Steve who’s main concern was how old my drapes were. I had my drapes custom made and he acted like they were garbage .I’d have to sign a release , they wouldn’t be responsible , so on and so forth, ok fine then he looks at my kitchen drapes , new and never been cleaned and said they will be ok and then the next sentence out of his mouth was to sign a release for them too . After just telling me 2 seconds before it was ok . Then we asked if they could be cleaned with chemicals while hung while cleaned , previous coit person did this . Back to all the bs about age of the drapes . He was rude , arrogant and I will never use coit again . Need to learn how to treat customers with respect .

T Biggs rated it 1/5: Made an appt for estimate on cleaning refinishing a hardwood floor after plaster fell on it. Rep told me late morning around 11-11:30 am . This guy shows up 2 HOURS EARLY. I'm not ready but ok fine, come in. This guy also didn't even know if it is hardwood and suggested deep cleaning but no idea what finish could be applied. Completely unknowledgeable and not professional with time frame. Called their office and this same woman rep offered nothing but excuses, no apology, no rectifying the visit. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY CLEANING SERVICES. PERIOD.

Jim and Steffanie came out in the evening to look at the house and were very thorough in asking which areas to clean, as well as explaining their services. The first time the housekeeper came, she cleaned our master bathroom shower of years of soap scum accumulation until it sparkled like new. The housekeeper always does a nice job, and their services are priced very reasonably. I would recommend Mr. Maid to anyone looking for a residential cleaning service.

jdubosky rated it 5/5: Mr. Maid was my first experience with a maid service, my girlfriend and I were really excited to have our place professionally cleaned. They sent over a young girl named Bethany, she showed up on time, she was extremely helpful and friendly. She made me immediately feel comfortable with her in my home.
She cleaned and disinfected our bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Very thorough- she got my stove cleaner than I've ever seen it.

I would highly recommend these guys- I've now signed up for a year of their service and I'm looking forward to working with these guys long-term, they're very impressive and priced quite reasonably.

She is honest, finding money I didn't even know I misplaced. The house looks great when she is finished. Stephanie in the office and one owner is very helpful. This company works with you in all aspects. Their prices are reasonable. We feel like we matter to Mr Maid. Great company!

We have two cats and a dog, all of whom shed considerably. She does a great job getting all the hair up, especially from around the table and chair legs where it collects in clumps. She is also very friendly to us and to all of our animals!
I would definitely recommend Mr. Maid and Carla to anyone looking for a home cleaning service!

The GM said he only rewards good behavior but everyone gets some type of complaint from a account and threats because building stars contracts aren’t clear enough at all when they conduct their walk throughs and there’s not clear limits to the clients so they start to add things sometimes as you go. You can’t reward good behavior” when everyone gets complaints but when we all pay the same to buy into the franchise it should no matter what be equally distributed. They gossip about each other and their franchisees

**UPDATE*** THEY SAY ITS NO DISTRIBUTION POLICY BUT THATS EVEN MORE OF A RED FLAG TO BUY INTO A FRANCHISE SAYING THAT. Paying $1,000+ to buy into the franchise to not get offered any new accounts in over a year because “they reward good behavior aka favoritism. Been reaching out to the account manager for a month and she ignores all methods of communication and as a franchisee it’s actually scary knowing that’s who/what you have to depend on when you can’t even get a simple text back. Imagine being in a emergency and not having a account manager to rely on because of her BS reasoning over doing her d*** job. Making up false lies to the GM and other owners being a gossip girl over miscommunication. Terrible business I wish we would’ve known before even buying into such a horrible company. Other franchise owners we met through other businesses are satisfied and don’t have these issues at all. Don’t let the reviews fool you with what type of people your dealing with. Ryan is the corporate person for Pittsburgh and he’s not even in the state and just says to schedule a meeting with the same people your complaining about.. no conflict resolution at all. I’m currently reading through the contract as we speak to figure out our next move with building stars.

This was the best choice i ever made in my life! Building stars is simply amazing! I would recommended anyone to either buy into the franchise or at least let them clean your commercial building!

Soap dispensers never filled, toilet paper always empty, cob webs in the hallway. Emails and texts to the technician and supervisor are met with excuses or ignored completely. I am already in the process of getting quotes for a new cleaning company as soon as our contract ends! Very frustrated customer!

Makes you feel like your working for them and not yourself! There only about there money they have no interests in helping the cleaners out what so ever! I will not recommend them to anyway also they have a lot of hidden fees and payment they don’t share with you in your meeting so be careful!
