Even though it was a fair bit more expensive we went with it due to the great salesman. But the work and service did not match what we were told!

    The guys were nice and fast but we paid for all of our ducts to be replaces fully insulated. I told the sails guy things to lookout for and he said his crew would do that and agreed on this. They did not! I had to go up into my attic and check myself as I felt something was off. When I went up there I found that the things we agreed to were not done. 3 of my ducts were not replaced, even had a hole in it! They secured their crawl boards on top of the electrical line, which you do not do!!

    They double stacked the ducts on one hanger so one was crushed down to 75% air flow so my sons room is hotter than it was earlier before I paid them $7000.00 for this.

    There was fiber glass on the carpet they left.

    I called the salesman and went over this first visit to replace the ducts. He scheduled a crew to replace the missed ducts.

    I then poked my head up there and saw the restricted ducting as my son needed fans to sleep.

    I called and left another message. I was called back and they asked for pictures. I emailed these. I was told it would be fixed. Weeks went by, no calls or scheduling to fix it.

    I called again when I found another problem after the insulation was pumped in. I was told again that they would schedule this and the date and time. No one called or came out. Now I'm pretty upset and it takes a lot for me to leave a bad review so I called again. Left a message no response!

    So we had this work done in May and it's July still not fixed and I know have to go up in the hot attic and fix their work. Pay for the things they covered with insulation, but where supposed to be collected and put in a box per the agreement. I don't know what else I will find.

    But very disappointed and for the normal home owner who does not crawl up in the attic to inspect these guys work I feel bad as they don't know what the are not doing even though paid for and a lot!!!!

    They said all their work is guaranteed but you can't get them out to fix their work!

Yes the price was extremely pricey but decided to go with ARS due to the financing and no interest option for 24 months. And it was the middle of summer and we were without AC for several days and desperate.
    So when our water heater went out my partner called them up and scheduled appointment. Cole came out and advised us we needed a new water heater. I repeatedly asked for a breakdown of the cost such as how much does the water heater cost, installation and so forth. He quoted 6 year warranty $2795 and said we can give it to you all for $3000. On his iPad he had a variety of cost depending on warranty. My partner asked for for a 9 year warranty it’s like $200 more? Cole looks up and says yes and says we can give it to you for $3200. Unfortunately because my partner is not a handyman and say yes. I again question the price due it didn’t seem correct since if you go to Home Depot and can get a water heater for like $500. My questioning went unanswered. In the end we schedule the installation. I called that night to ARS and asked for a breakdown again and lady said I can get that paperwork from the technician when he comes to install. Next day they came to install took about 3 hrs for installation. Asked for paperwork and tech has none to provide. My brother came from out of town told him the cost and he couldn’t believe it. He looked at the installation and couldn’t find anything special that would cost $3200 to install. His water heater went out it was $400 for the water heater and $200 to install. We found the same water heater with same warranty 9 years at Home Depot for $660. Called ARS on the following day again asked for a breakdown and lady told me they don’t do breakdowns and then preceded to quote a message of cost. This is cost and that’s final. She would have customer service call me but they will provide me with same info. It’s been 4 days since I spoke to the lady and still no call from anyone from the company. I will never do business with company or refer anyone to this company. If a company can not provide a breakdown of cost then obviously it’s a scam.Do your business elsewhere.

Seth and Brian were also great to work with for our first consultation. We highly recommend those 4 dudes specifically, as well as SALT in general.

The young lady I spoke to was very responsive and friendly. She listened to all my needs and concerns. I called on a Saturday and SALT could schedule the techs on Monday. I was impressed they could come out that soon.

    Monday arrived quickly. Brett and Jorge were the two techs sent to my home. They called me 15-20 minutes before arriving. They wore shoe coverings to protect the carpet. Brett informed me he listened to my phone call and read the notes the young lady provided him. I had to explain very little to him what I needed done.

    Their plan of action was incredible! They started from the outside, working their way inside the home. I had some light switches changed out, kitchen light installed, and my outside electric sockets fixed. They performed this job in under 3 hours. Brett also took the extra step to review the safety of my electric items in prep to sell my home. Now I'm aware of what needs to be fixed and the cost. I also like that they provided me several different quotes and not just one. That is very important to me as I can make the decision on what to tackle first. They also offer finance options which is always a bonus in my eyes. I can't believe I almost forgot to mention their work is covered under a 2 year warranty at no extra cost.

    I would use this company again in a heartbeat. For me it is not just about affordable prices but techs who care about the job they are performing as well as ensuring the customer is happy. I was truly blown away by the service I received. Many companies should be striving to be like SALT!

Our AC unit quit working and Scott was very thorough in diagnosing the issue, explaining what needed to be done, and then promptly fixing it.

    For anyone who has had their AC unit quit during a Texas August, you know how thankful we are that he was able to get our unit fixed and cooling again.

He’s a great technician and deserves a raise. This was a 3 month project and he was basically my main point of contact through it all. 5 stars for sure.

They installed our new HVAC system less then 7 years ago. It failed and we called them again. After testing it was determined that the compressor needed to be replaced, luckily it was still covered by warranty. However, just the 3-hour job by a single tech costed nearly $3K, that's a $1K/hr. BTW, the national average for this job is about half of this.

They worked temporarily but he didn't have the detailed knowledge to understand the nuances of the flood light install to turn the knob off test and to lock it in, as well as he didn't know the light switch is fickle with floodlights and can make it turn on permanently if moved too quickly.

    Turns out like all things it takes a few people to diagnose the problems. I was furious at first thinking they wouldn't help. Used to poor service during Covid I was livid and assuming they did not care. They came out the 3rd day but this time the manager Zach came. He was able to diagnose the small details that made them work and completed the 1st plug issue which I had originally paid $300 to only get. diagnosis without a solve. He came back and fixed it within cost.

    I'm thrilled with their repeat service to come out and mend the issues if even it took three times. I calmed down each time realizing they absolutely are helping and good on their word. I'm now a Mr. Electric loyal customer. Thank you Max and Zack. And Mr. Handyman I've always loved.

I didn’t feel like shopping around, and sensed this could be the going rate at other highly rated locations. I gave 4 stars because of the cost, still in shock… but happy with the work.

What should have taken 2 hours max cost my client over $800.00. A reasonable charge would have been closer to $350.00. Bryant claims they have to charge this much to pay their people. They evidently weren't qualified to do the job efficiently and then gigged my customer. I will never refer Bryant Electric to my customers again. Keep Austin Wired is their saying but I'd leave it to someone else next time.

But I feel like we got taken advantage of, and it was probably my fault but I felt my experience should be presented. The technician was super nice and great, as well as the owner I spoke to after was helpful. I just think they should do a better job about giving prices in detail before presenting. We paid a $95 service fee, technician came, and told me it would be around $1000 to fix all the problems (Total four issues). I thought that was expensive but understand their time and costs. Then I had second thoughts on the importance of 3 out of 4 jobs and said let’s take care of the main one and got a re-estimate of $903. I was surprised to find out that it was only $100 cheaper. So I asked for more details about the costs. Materials were $180 and service fee of $95. That’s when I came to realize that it was $600 in labor for 3 hours. Again, I understand time and their skill should be paid for. But what bothered me was that I was not asked and automatically charged for the technician to go and get the needs materials (which I was paying for already). I assume they had these parts on hand but was wrong. A technician getting paid $200/hr should not be driving around getting parts. Felt like it would have been best to get parts myself and have him back later to install. The technician arrived at 11am and left around 2pm and all we got was one light fixed (ballast and light bulbs) for $900. Seems excessive since I felt like an hour was wasted getting parts. Just my thoughts and it seems to be a common sentiment throughout the reviews. They did great work, no one is questioning that but the rates are just crazy high since other groups charge $75-$120/hour and the process is more bid per project based, Which I think better suits my needs.
  • Patrick Sparks rated it 1/5: I recommended this company to simply hook up to sauna heaters which was just a matter of reconnecting them as they had been previously installed and disconnected for a maintenance procedure. What should have taken 2 hours max cost my client over $800.00. A reasonable charge would have been closer to $350.00. Bryant claims they have to charge this much to pay their people. They evidently weren't qualified to do the job efficiently and then gigged my customer. I will never refer Bryant Electric to my customers again. Keep Austin Wired is their saying but I'd leave it to someone else next time.

With the help of an informed family member, I verified the information Grayzer Electric had given me and realized they are obviously professionals in their industry. I decide to use the Tesla charger they suggest. They no longer install NEMA, in any case. They installed my Tesla charger the day after I accepted their quote.

The house I live in was built before the Code changed to require GFCI plugs in kitchen and bathrooms, and they knew exactly what to do to fix that, too. They also added a bathroom ventilation fan and now my bathroom no longer steams up during showers!
    Unlike others I'd called, Dunman Electric was responsive to my phone calls. They arrived on time for our appointment, were professional, affordable, and answered all my questions.
    I love their work and especially love the new USB and C charging plugs!

Hired them to install appropriate CAT cable to an upstairs office that would work with our Google Fiber mesh network and increase speeds to the hardwired room. First of all, technician arrived 3 hours LATE with no advance notice. Technician seemed clueless on how to solution my request. Ultimately, his recommended solution was to install a CAT6. It took him almost and hour to come up with the solution. Upon installation, we immediately saw a negative impacted to our network speeds. These guys did a shotty job. Lead technician had a poor attitude and honestly didn't seem educated enough for the job. On top of everything, Dunman marked up the CAT6 conduit ten times the retail price, charged me 4 hours labor x 2 technicians (1 was a trainee) for a job that should have taken
