Pros:
– The electricians were professional, responsive, and conscientious. Prior to starting any work, they explained the rates and charges.
– They completed their work and took the time to clean up any large mess.
– We were satisfied by the quality of their work. The work appeared to be high quality (we’re non-electricians). What this means is not only the finished product installed correctly, but it seemed that they took the time to think about possible solutions and listen to our requests/suggestions before just trying something or digging behind a wall. This resulted several times in an improved solution to a problem in our house.
– There was an honest misunderstanding in the contract for one of the projects in terms of what we desired and what was delivered. In this setting, the supervisor, James, took time out to immediately come to our home and discuss with us the misunderstanding. He was professional and honest. The company and James were open and truly listened to our concerns, and then we reached an agreement that was mutually satisfactory. In this day and age, I cannot overstate how valued it is that a company still does this.
– The calling center staff were always professional, kind, and courteous.

– We had multiple projects of various sizes and this was also during the pandemic. But to complete the entire list of projects, it took several months and multiple calls/emails.

Tyler was our technician and from the moment he walked in, there was nothing but good positive energy. He gave honest and reasonable estimates. Was very professional and down to earth. They installed a new light fixture in the shower area of the bathroom, another can light and also installed a new track lighting in the living room. A Shaf rated it 1/5: Called to get a 240 v outlet installed inches away from the breaker box super easy job. And they drove to my house and quoted prices at 1400. This business is designed to scam people that don't know better. The job was worth 300-500 and I found a honest company that did it in this range. The job is so simple too, 4 wires on outlet and 4 wires in the box routing maybe a foot or two in distance.

The first repair did not fix the leak, which Mike had warned as a possibility based on the condition of the unit. No worries though because the cost of that repair ultimately rolled into the cost of replacing the AC altogether. Kevin, Kelyn, and Chris came out to do the install on a new unit. They spent the better part of 13 hours at my home, staying well into the night to get the job done and the cold air moving again. As with Mike, these gentlemen represented Ideal Conditions well and exhibited professionalism throughout the job. AC is working great now with no further issues. Thanks guys!

My job was simple, and a few things did in fact go wrong. I am glad to say that I am very pleased with the professional appreciation given to me by the entire team at David Gray. After the completion of my project, I expressed my concerns and to my surprise I was met with customer humility and appreciation; yes, even to the point of the company saying to me “Yes, we can and will take care of you, our customer.” They did to my surprise; they sent me a refund check for some of the installation cost. Not only did they get it done with amazing quality, there was a considerable amount of troubleshooting which they took in stride. They spent the time to get everything perfect which required hanging these heavy, massive chandeliers, and then placing hundreds of individual crystals. They treated the installation as if they were doing it in their house.
They were also incredibly easy to work with and really well priced. I can't recommend them enough. This company will be my go to for years to come.

There was no electrical source on either side of the garage door so they ran electrical cable through walls, installed a switch inside garage. Their attention to detail was appreciated. They also trouble shooted a doorbell that only worked occasionally. They did a great job determining that the issue was the actual electrical cable. I appreciate the quality of their work. They also left everything clean.

They did an excellent job installing a handful of recessed lighting cans, migration of some interior lights, and installations of new plugs for me. They came back after to review a few issues I found (that had nothing to do with their initial work) and were able to troubleshoot all of them and put me in a great place with my electrical systems. The price was right too! Highly recommended for all your electrical needs.

Explained what I was looking for and was told they could run the estimate both ways. They didn’t, came with an estimate of $9000 to run power and a power pedestal for an rv. I call and just spoke with Fred to try and get an understanding as to what the estimate was for and was spoken down to, and was told I was asking for a complete rework of the estimate to not trench and run power pedestal right next to main, where I have room for small rv as well( just not ideal location). I told him at end of conversation that I would have someone else do it or do it myself, he then said another unprofessional comment. Please don’t let them take Adavantage of you and it’s perfectly fine to ask them exactly what you are paying for. The estimate cost $125, thought that might at least get me 5 minutes of professionalism over the phone.

They were here for HOURS and crawling around in the attic space installing new receptacles and ensured they all worked. They cleaned up after themselves and did not damage anything (as I've experienced with other companies). Very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend and will hire again and again as needed.

They did a bunch of projects from adding an outlet to replacing outdoor fan box with a sealed one. They also installed a light that we purchased and it went out the next day. The owner himself came out and replaced it with no charge even though it wasn't the electricians fault but Home Depot's bad light. Crawford will be our go to company from now on.

The most important thing he did though was pointed out some serious and dangerous flaws in the wiring that had just been completed for our new pool. These were things that could have caused electrocution. As a result we were able to get the original company back out and they have fixed all the issues. Thank you Jeff you have forever earned our business and anyone that asks we will send your way.
Mary Policastro rated it 5/5: I called Jeff Crawford at 9am on Saturday of a 3 day holiday week end as the firm I have used in the past was not available until Tuesday and did not have emergency service available. Jeff was at our home when he said he would be and correctly diagnosed the problem. He called Beaches Electric for us as it was an issue on their end. The problem was fixed and the electric was back by 3pm! Jeff was professional and knowledgeable and will be who we'll call when we need electric work again!

Shera Kosmoski rated it 1/5: I hired them to rehang 6 simple fixtures I had taken down to paint. So, literally just reattach the wires + screws. They had 2 men here for 1 hour, needed one simple part and the bill was $459 or something in that neighborhood. I thought that was excessive but I didn't ask ahead, so opted to see it as a lesson to myself to get quote prior to install next time. I forgot this is post covid and business owners are taking advantage of consumers because they think they can blame the economy and our politicians. In any event, the real kicker here is they reinstalled correctly and then acted like I was an angry unreasonable customer when I called to schedule redo. That didn't go well so I sent the owner an email explaining the situation. He never replied. I followed up one time given that it's the busiest time of year and I gave consideration to the fact that he may be going in too many directions. No response to date………..sorry to report the bad news this business has been around a long time.

Michael Smith rated it 5/5: Advance Electric was fantastic through the entire process from the estimate to completion. I give 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for their professionalism, expertise and honesty. I’m having a pool installed and needed electric run from my inside panel to the pool panel. I had 4 different companies come out for an estimate, 2 quoted me extremely high for the work I needed done. Brice came out to take a look at what I needed, he sent me the proposal shortly after, it was just the right price and very reasonable for what I needed done.
Additionally, I was very impressed with how quickly the work was scheduled and completed, (within 2 weeks from the estimate) all the other companies couldn’t guarantee a timeframe of when they’d be able to start and complete the work. Communication through the entire process was outstanding and their team of electricians where all about business and getting the job done right; I highly recommend their business! Thank you Advance Electric and your entire team for a job well done!!

They charged me for 3 hours of labor included the time of departure to the house from their location. Typically service time starts from.time of starting the work, it doesn't include driving time. There was even a delay of 10 minutes from the community gate to get to the house. The scheduling center were not clearly communicating the costs and how they were determined.
