They came out next day and the first tech Alfred was only here for 1minute, literally. Said we needed a new water heater…. Did not look into any other problems. Ordered the part and scheduled a time, not only did they have to reschedule for a later time in the afternoon the day of service, they got here and said the first tech Alfred ordered the wrong part and that a bigger water heater was needed… ( mind you how would we of ever known that, it’s the same water heater when we moved in 3 years ago) the second tech ken and brad disconnected all our lines and bent copper tubing and left us with out any water since Saturday saying they would order the part and come back out. Mind you, our water heater was leaking but we still at least had hot and cold water… they left us without any water for the whole house due to us having to shut off the main line due to them bending pipes because with the water on, it’s a sprinkler in my hallway…. We called Saturday night wondering why it’s taking so long to find out brad and ken never put in the new order per our home warranty. Customer service 24/7 line wasn’t available… way to false advertise we called 5 times. Along with your false advertising for emergency services. I have a baby in the house and informed them of this., We called Sunday to Amy in the morning, she refused services for anyone to come out to fix what the prior techs disconnected, I am just wanting water in the house…. I am not asking for expedited parts to be ordered I am asking for running water. A tech to come out and reconnect the lines, but despite the advertised emergency services 24/7, we have been left with no running water for 24 hours with our baby, a huge inconvenience. We were left off worse than what we were before calling them. We called a second time to Amy to clarify this false advertising for emergency 24:7 services and was left with there’s nothing I can do till Monday. Cannot refund my original payment , cannot send a tech out and was absolutely useless. I am not sure how they have good rating. Absolutely horrible experience.

The Technician that came was absolutely awesome! He was professional, on time, extremely friendly and explained everything to us so that we could understand. We have had previous plumbers come out and they were rude and stand-offish with an attitude, but Dan was nothing like that. As a matter of fact out of all of the contractors I've had come out since I moved here he is definitely the best! I give it 10 stars!

    01/03/2023 – Tim, manager of Air Pro Master called me to inform that he was sending a person out to fix what was promised and agreed to from American Home Shield. He apologized and said that none of this should have happened.

    On 12/03/2022, American Home Shield assigned Air Pro Master
    to perform work for the home warranty regarding a leak at the bathroom sink. The ticket with American Home Shield was closed almost immediately, even before a technician came out to estimate the repair. The company claimed they didn't understand why the ticket was closed as complete. We needed leak at the bathroom sink addressed as the angle stop and the faucet were both leaking. The first technician recommended a replacement faucet along with a leaking angle stop, which was authorized by American Home Shield to proceed with the repair. Almost 1 month later, the faucet that was authorized to be replaced by the home warranty company still hasn't been replaced nor the angle stop. The second technician named Chris was sent out today, 01/02/2023. Chris said that the angle stop or the faucet doesn't need to be replaced, and the problem was a leak between the sink and the faucet which he claims to have addressed. My statement to Chris was the person prior, Daniel recommended the replacement. Chis responded, well that is part of the reason he has been fired from the company. The angle stop and faucet are still leaking. Both items, angle stop and faucet were authorized for repair, but Air Pro Master refuses to complete the work and told us they will not be returning. The water has to remain shut off, to prevent further damage to the wall, as the angle stop underneath was never repaired.

The fact that a business owner takes immediate action after seeing an unfavorable review, shows he values customer feedback and that is the type of business I want to support. I will absolutely contact them when needed in the future.
    Original post 1/3/2023: I had my water heater replaced on 12/29/2020 but it recently started knocking. I did some research and found it may simply need a flush so I called the installation company. Was told a flush would be $150 but that the problem could be with the anode rods and that would cost an additional $185. When I asked about warranty since the unit is just a few days over two years, I was quoted $1700 to replace. I asked how that was possible since the unit/install was $1150 two years ago and response was "prices increased." I understand that everything has increased but a 50% increase seems absurd and false. I called a different company and they are coming out tomorrow to do a diagnostic of the rods and a flush for $49. Also when I asked about cost to replace, it was no where near $1700 (much closer to the Dec 2020 price I paid). I had been happy with this company but if that is their attitude toward repeat customers, I'll just go elsewhere.

Called the number left on the heater from last time. Josh W. came by a few hours later, implemented a bypass and got the water turned back on in the house. Came back Sunday morning and got hot water flowing back through the house. Between Carl from dispatch, and Josh W. the technician, in less than 24 hours on a weekend, we went from all bad, to all good. Five star review! Thank-you guys! Until next time…

He had the parts Ihat he needed in his plumbing truck and expertly finished the job to my complete satisfaction. After he finished he quickly cleaned the mess and gave me a bill that I was more than happy with. I would highly recommend this plumbing company.

They provided an initial price for a plumber to come out to the house. Upon arrival the plumber looked and listened to the toilet when flushed and stated it was the fill valve. He had the invoice already filled out with the initial amount for service call and additional amount to replace the fill valve for a total cost of almost $350.00. They do not include the cost for the service call into the repair cost which other companies do. I did not have them complete the repair.
    I did a Google search on the average cost for toilet fill valve replacement and it is 1/2 the amount this company wanted to charge.
    If you are looking for repair at an affordable cost this is not the company for you.

It was extremely hot and I was worried for her safety. 5 star came out. Said some kinda capacitor was out. And that refrigerant was low. I thought that was unusual because unit was fairly new. But I didn’t question technician. He added over pound of refrigerant $350.00 dollars worth. So when he left unit was working. But once it got really hot two months later unit failed again. This time I called a different company. When they checked refrigerant it blew of technicians fitting there was so much pressure. It was over filled a little more than a pound! Exactly what 5 star put in. So I paid another 350.00 to extract the refrigerant. There was also another issue probably caused by over filling brand new unit. Technician said it was a miracle that it hadn’t damaged the coil. When I complained young lady was nice said someone would get back to me. No call. Next day I called back and got a very rude man. Basically said 90 days no warranty. Blah blah blah. Use any one but 5 star.

They only covered some of the replacement of the hot water heater, but a second company had to come out to remove mold supposedly, so they tore into the bathroom walls. I was told the insurance company claim was approved before they started tearing into walls. That company came back to get their equipment a few days later, but when I asked when they were finishing the project to put my bathroom back together, they said it was not their problem and it was actually this 3rd construction company that would be doing the work. I had never spoken to this third company and did not even know that a 3rd company was involved in this project. After several days of trying to get something scheduled, I received an email on 7/27/22 stating that they would not be completing the work and I needed to figure it out. I still have a giant hole in the closet & the bathroom, and there is no sink or anything put back together in the bathroom. This is unacceptable for a business to agree to work, state that the insurance company claim was fine, and then just not complete the work. I paid this company $999 for the completion of this service, and it has not actually been completed. It is unacceptable to collect money from me and the home warranty company without the job actually being completed. I want to ensure that others are aware of this scam across these 3 companies.

The scenario was to throw parts at it until we get it, as in "if the safety switch replacement does not work [ordered this part for first try], I will be back and will try the Inducer motor next." This clown did not even have a VOM to measure, just a jump wire and was the greasy plumber type, as in no booties, filthy hands and ladder [put down my own tarp]. After initial visit, the manager called us the next day for the part install [in fairness that was a plus]. Cut to the chase: when I asked the manager what were the TECH’S READINGS on the system, they withdrew from the repair [as in you are on to us / could not give]. The next professional HVAC tech got it correct: said the only issue was the circuit board and he was correct/repaired. ALL ELSE ON THE HEATING SYSTEM CHECKED OUT. He was honest, humble and knew how to respect one’s property. CRITICAL: IF THEY DO NOT METER YOUR SYSTEM, RUN LIKE HELL; it is not possible to CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE any system without doing this at the get go. As another rater fairly stated: “Maybe this company wasn't this shady and broken in the past, as the old reviews reflect, but they have been for awhile,” Last 6 months nearly all 1 Star.

  • Natalia Perez rated it 1/5: This is my first bad review ever written, because I feel I need to share my experience. My bathroom faucet broke, and the water would not shut off. The only way to shut the water was by turning off the main water valve for the entire house. I contacted my home warranty on Friday and they sent out a plumber from Advanced Home services on Saturday, after paying the $75 fee to my home warranty company. The technician showed up 30 minutes after the proposed window timeframe and was there for less than 5 minutes. At 1st he said it is possibly the cartridge that needed to be replaced, and if that doesn’t fix it then the whole valve would need to be replaced. He said the screw was stripped and did not attempt to remove the faucet handle to replace the possibly broken cartridge. He determined the whole valve would need to be replaced, meaning cutting through the shower tile, etc.
    Before he left he said he would submit an approval to my home warranty company to replace the whole valve. However, In the approval submission to the home warranty, he mentioned things that were entirely untrue, such as the “bathroom is leaking for so long and damaging the cartridge of the valve due to neglect…valve is no longer repairable and has to be replaced”. The home warranty obviously did not approve the request. The quote to replace the valve and was an outrageously high price over 1K. After I received the email quote for the valve replacement, I took a close look at the faucet handle, and with the friend of a friend, we were able to remove the faucet easily. We purchased a new MOEN cartridge at Home Depot, and replaced the cartridge. Please keep in mind we are by no means handy man\woman. We did not visibly see any damage nor corrosion on the cartridge, stripped parts or faucet (see picture’s enclosed). I wanted to share this so other’s do not run into the same experience as I did. Advanced Home Services, LLC technician simply lied, is dishonest, took advantage of the situation, and I will never use them or recommend to others.

They are a bunch of liars and incompetent! They You have been warned they do shoddy plumbing Home warranty work. They just came out to fix a leak and put in a new Fill valve that didnt work. It flooded the bathroom, and never fixed the shut off valve which the plumber knew was not working but never fixed it. Then called back from American Home Shield to fix the fill valve the guy said that they never came out the first time, lying once again when it was Advanced that did the incompetent work. The guy just showed up not calling ahead of time, said that he doesn't have the fill valve on his truck and has to get approval from the AHS which is another lie, wasting my time waiting for him to arrive. Then telling American Home Shield that I threatened him and was abusive to him . Don't use this company if you want competent plumbing services and don't want your house getting flooded!

Gabe came out and looked everything over. We discussed my future plans for potential expansion and the next day Allegiant emailed me a proposal for the work. The cost was very reasonable (and competitive) and included all the details (like Stucco & paint). We scheduled a day for the work to begin and Allegiant handled everything. Answered questions on phone well, provided an estimate quickly after I texted pictures of my garage, electrician Aaron arrived on time, professional, quick, and did an amazing job. Looks fantastic and clean. I had to run my wiring quite far from my circuit breaker, which costs more in general. I got quotes from four different electricians and Allegiant was by far the most affordable (at least $300 less) than other well-reviewed, licensed, electricians. As you can see in the pic, looks excellent and tucked away against the roof. Fantastic work for a good price with professional service!

They have been out here a few times and have done amazing work each time. This last time Chad replaced an outlet that had been wired incorrectly and had actually caught fire. He explained every thing he was doing, and the work is flawless. I can sleep better knowing it is now corrected.

    PDQ is the first company everyone should be looking at. Fair prices, great techs, and just overall amazing service from beginning to end!

It turned out that our builder had used smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in four rooms and they do not have batteries. They were supposed to last ten years but lasted five. We had Ron replace all four with only smoke detectors and he did it very quickly at a great price and with the best attitude ever! I can't recommend this company and Ron G. in particular enough!

He definitely knows what he's looking for and he did an excellent job getting everything working the way it should. Definitely recommend.

He spent two hours fiddling around with every outlet in my house pretty much and couldn't figure out the problem. Said he had another call to take care of. Totally understandable. Said he would call back that day to see when a good time to come back would be. Never called me back. I call them back. We set an appointment for Wed 10-12. He doesn't show up til around 1. Never called. Never texted to tell me he's gonna be running a little late. He's here again for three hours and says he replaced a 20 amp breaker and the GFCI outlet. Hands me the bill for $525. Not at all what I expected from a company with so many positive reviews.

DUCT TAPE!? They said to bring it back and that they would “see what they could to make it look better”. Ridiculous, and if this is how my car looks now then how would it look if I was crazy enough to bring my car back? Not to mention that there are bolts missing too, and I was charged for Antifreeze even though it was not changed. Decatur Auto Electric, you have not only lost me as a customer, but now I will tell everyone I know to avoid your reckless shop!!!
