The technicians and Sales rep were friendly enough. However they quoted me near 5 grand for repairs to my furnace, and 14 grand to replace my furnace and cooling unit.

I had another company come out to take a look, and they reported that the furnace was fine and didn't need to be repaired or replaced. Even if it did, the cost would be considerably less.

They ran a little behind, but they showed up at 5pm. Michael immediately diagnosed the issue which was an easy fix. A blown capacitor. He was very polite and did a good job on fixing the issue. Price was decent. He even sprayed down my outside vents around the unit. Very professional. He had our A/C up and running in no time after it being 86 degrees in my house. Would definitely recommend them.

However, the electrician waited until the utility company did their job to ensure we had all our electrical components running again after we got power back. Eric was very patient, even when my dogs got out of their enclosure & jumped all over. Eric explained everything on the estimate in detail in a way I could understand, which is very important to me. Even though the quote was a lot more than I expected, Eric took the time to explain to me all the details of why and the benefits and warranties associated with the work and electrical products that would be being used. I will probably use Mr Sparky because of him, his knowledge and his professional manner.
Eric was also able to fix one plug I was concerned about before he left my home and at a reasonable price, so I am relieved to have that taken care of today.

Found a part that needed to be repaired but also mention my system was on its last leg. Several days later they sent Jeff to come give me an estimate for a new system. He was super helpful and knowledgeable and not pushy about anything. Decided it was best to replace my entire system. The next day they came and replaced my entire system. We’re nice, respectful, and left the house cleaner than when they got there. Couldn’t recommend this company any more

I then called AlphaTek, they were able to get out in two days. Tim was very professional, he noticed they could get the needed part and install it the next day. When the part was installed, he discovered another component was needed that is no longer available. Tim gave me a few suggestions on a quality, long lasting replacement and only charged for one $85 service call. I also discovered in our conversation that he’s a Veteran and his son currently serves in the Army as an Apache mechanic. I would definitely use AlphaTek for any future appliance repair.

He was friendly, polite, and professional,. Doug assessed the issue, explained what happened, and offered to fix it for a very fair price for a Sunday call. Doug completed the work, cleaned the wall near the fire, and the switch, and was mindful about not touching anything else with the black smudge on his hands until he washed them.

Doug took time to answer our questions, and was patient and mindful to explain how these things happen. In our case it was because someone did shoddy work while building the house. He checked our breaker box for other potential issues and found none. Doug made sure all the effected areas were operational and we were pleased with the work.

Doug, and Edge Electric, took what was a very alarming and unsettling experience and resolved the issue in a prompt, professional manner. For these reasons I recommend Doug, and Edge Electric, without reservation.

Denise Reneau rated it 1/5: Very disappointed how they handle their business. Had plumbing work done back in April and the took forever. They broke my wall in laundry room, the tile in my bathroom. Pictures and text I received from them is unreal. I don't recommend them at all. Clark stated he thought everything was done, he is the one I dealt with by phone. He states he will be out to look into it. He still hasn't come by. He state the tile man he hired is still looking for tile to match my wall. I called the tile company, and he stated he doesn't do patch work. He stayed he told Clark this and nothing had been done. Make sure you check permits, insurance, company review before hiring anyone. Do not hire this company. What we have been thru with them, the list goes on. The news media, have been notified. This will be resolved. Unfortunately it has to be done the hard way.

Team was on time, communicated well, fixed some additional issues for free and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.
They did leave a gate open by accident. Luckily my tenants dog just went around to the front door to “tell on himself”
