The cell phone I wanted to get was available but the price was higher than the one listed online. This could not be revised in the system by the staff in the store and asked me to order online for an in-store collection, which was supposed to take up-to 1 hour. After doing so with the correct price I had to wait for over 2 hours for the order to be processed. I still had to leave without the item due to an urgent commitment. What a horrible service. The silver lining being Unique who was very helpful. Still I would not recommend Best Buy as a whole with their terrible systems built to waste your time.

NOT PLEASED. - Jean Varano rated it 1/5: Canceled my service with Ackerman two months ago and my credit card is still being charged. Each time I call I get routed to multiple people who are unable to assist me, am on hold for 30 minutes to an hour, or the call gets dropped. It's extremely frustrating. I am owed two months worth of charges when I am no longer an Ackerman or ADT customer. Extremely poor customer service!

How i find out? While on travel I couldn't arm my home security because the app that I used for more than 4 years was disabled. Called Ackerman routed to ADT, I was shocked because the mere reason I had Ackerman was I hated ADT from my past for a horrible customer service and frequent price hikes. Now without any notification Ackerman threw me back into the company that I would prefer to be with no security than to be with ADT's customer service. When I called to find out about my mobile control feature the ever routing answering machine told me waiting time will be between 33 and 59 minutes or with an option to get a call back within that time frame. Arround 50 minutes later I got call back and I explained my surprises about the sale of my account to ADT and asked why I couldn't control my security and my home thermostat with the app? The ADT agent told me for those services I have to upgrade and pay around $475 one time fee and monthly of $49.99 +taxes +other applicable fees (my services was 42.50/m for everything with Ackerman). I said "WHAT the XXX!!? I paid those initial one time fee when I got the system installed, why do I have to pay again because ADT bought my account from Ackerman?" "I have a contract with Ackerman for those all service features that were in use for more than 4yrs and now because ADT swallowed Ackerman you are telling me you stripped my service features and you are telling me to pay that kind of money to have them back??? I wasn't even notified this was coming?" I told the agent to JUST CANCEL THE xxxx service and I will never ever want any kind of service from ADT. To make the situation worse, the Agent told me because I was on a contract with Ackerman I will have to pay $486 of cancelation after 4yrs into the 5yr contract. I am felt like… 😡🤬😡. The ADT agent doesn't even want to cancel the service even if I 100x repeatedly tell him to please cancel, cancel…🙄 😑 😒. He keeps wasting my time for ~ solid 53 minutes putting me on hold (machine) every now then, several times…My head was about to burst until in the last minute to tell me I will get the final bill by mail which I will fight back legally…it is going to be may be in the news after I see the bill which he said will be in 3-4 weeks. IT WAS HELL TO CALL IT THE LEAST. I RUN AWAY FROM ADT TO ACKERMAN 4YRS AGO AND ACKERMAN DUMPED ME BACK TO THE HYNA THAT I ESCAPED FROM.😫😩😫😡

While the deafening false alarm is sounding at 3AM (10 times louder than needed) you are supposed to hear their phone call to you, which of course is impossible. By the time you establish there is no fire and call Guardian, there are 2 huge fire trucks in front of your house and you feel terrible for bringing them out. I also think there is a fine for a certain number of false calls to the fire department, so we canceled.

Then I moved & couldn't transfer it when they found out. So they gave me ADT Blue, HORRIBLE! Don't get it!! I can't even hear the sound it makes when opening the doors or windows, the sensors constantly fall off & doesn't make the house feel safe like the other one! So we don't use it! Now I'm stuck in a 3 year contract paying for something I don't use! We use Ring now! It's way better!! Think twice before getting service from ADT! Spend the money on Amazon for a Ring equipment!

Prior to my purchase of ADT services, I explained to several ADT representatives that my wife, a Federal government employee, could potentially receive orders from the U.S. government requiring us to move overseas prior to the end of a 3-year ADT contract and EVERY ADT representative confirmed the contract would be void and no early termination fees or balance of contract fees would be applicable if a copy of our government orders were provided to ADT. In each of the several conversations, I made it very clear that the government orders would not be military orders but U.S. government orders for a Federal employee assigned overseas. I also made it clear that I was not interested in obtaining ADT services if the contract would not be voided or if we would be subjected to early cancelation or balance of contract fees. The list of ADT employees who confirmed ADT contract would void and that no early cancellation or balance of contract fees would be applicable: 1. the ADT rep I originally spoke to enquire about ADT service, 2. the ADT installer who came to my house to inspect my home, 3. the ADT supervisor of the installer, 4. the ADT rep the installer called to confirm the contract would be void with government orders prior to my signing the contract and installing ADT equipment, 5. the ADT representative I spoke to prior to emailing my wife’s government orders, 6. ADT’s DC Metro Area Territory Manager, Phillip Hoffman.

Why pay a premium for ADT if your alarm won’t work and their “customer service” is unapologetically slow?

It was being used both by non-community members as well as our resident for improper dumping. In one year alone the additional cost of removing such items exceeded our budget by more than $6,000. I could not accept that this was a “cost of doing business” and looked for a solution. I called about 10 security services providers, many did not even return my call. Surveillance Secure returned my call promptly and made an appointment to visit the site. Tony listened to what I told him and we walked the site together. We have a number of buildings that are separated from each other and from the areas we most wanted to see, namely the dumpsters, the entrance to the leasing office, the driveway and the parking lots. Tony recommended a wireless system that would place cameras where they could get a good view of what we wanted, provide easy transmission from the remote buildings to the main building where our recorder would be, and do so with far less labor and cost than trenching and running cable. Their technicians were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. System was installed quickly, IT programming was done and training was given to me and my staff. It was up and running in two days.
Within 12 hours after installation we caught someone dumping illegally. Catching the illegal dumping saved me $500 in haul fees. The camera system installation cost was far less than my annual cost for bulk trash removal. I expect to save the money I spent on the surveillance system within a few months. It's a win win. My property does not have unsightly bulk trash sitting around my dumpster areas and I continue to save on bulk item removal fees. I couldn't be happier with it.

She's warm, helpful, caring and super smart. Stephanie even took the time to teach me how to use the app and walk me through setting up our system online. The Ultra Guard team is AMAZING. Reggie is beyond wonderful. Reggie took his time, walked around the house and helped make suggestions for improving our system. Reggie also left me his cell number and promptly answered a text from me a few days later when I had a question. I never write reviews…..but have to for Ultra Guard Security. They're that good. We have used them twice in the last year for the installation of a new security system and the ongoing monitoring services in two different houses. We have been extremely happy with the various staff we have encountered, the security systems, and ongoing services provided to us.
Ms. Lindsey Pearce spent a significant amount of time with us at each home to discuss our concerns and needs with a security system, she throughly evaluated each house to see the type of security system it could accommodate, and she recommended some additional needed security coverage that we hadn’t considered. Ms. Pearce ensured this was a system tailored to our needs and she did not push any additional available features we were not comfortable with in our security system. Ms. Pearce is a very professional, extremely knowledgable, polite, patient and genuinely caring person. Her helpfulness in explaining the options in terms we would understand and her calm and kind demeanor helped us identify the UltraGuard security system that would work best for us.
The different staff members who installed both security systems were very professional and knowledgable. They spent a significant amount of time verifying every aspect of the system was properly working then patiently walked us through the security system features to ensure we were comfortable with and understood the security systems.
Mr. Andy Divico, Operations Manager, assisted us with the first installation and with subsequent trouble-shooting (due to user error!). We are very grateful to him for his responsiveness, patience, knowledge, and his exceptional customer service.
Every person we have encountered have responded immediately, provided exceptional customer service, and are great representatives of UltraGuard. We are thoroughly happy with UltraGuard Security System staff, equipment, monitoring, and overall service. We feel like we are in good hands with UltraGuard.

I used a Groupon to purchase their services to install a lock that I had bought previously. I called and scheduled an appointment and advised of the Groupon purchase per the instructions. The groupon was for $80 worth of services (I paid about $30 for it). The technician came and told me he wasn’t aware of a Groupon and that to install the lock the best option would be a “home installation,” which would be another $90 out of pocket all of a sudden. I inquired to see if there were any other options since it wasn’t a brand new installation, but he said he really wouldn’t make a difference. He was in and out in 15 minutes and advised the labor came with a warranty (i was told lifetime). Since September the lock has now become loose and the door consistently jams. I called back to see if they can come out. They are advising it will be an additional service charge to come out and that customer parts aren’t covered by warranty. Even if it was, per my receipt it’s saying a 90 day warranty, as the gentleman over the phone recently pointed out.
Bottom line, if you have to use them please ask for the price in advance and what it all includes. Due to their misrepresentation I will have to call my bank.

We called Keyed In, LLC and Roy was over in a flash. Before I knew it, he had the door opened, the lock and doorknob replaced, and he was even caulking over a small screw hole from the old fixture to correct the cosmetics. This guy is seriously the best and we made it to the game for the second quarter to see the Redskins win. Highly recommended – best ever!

It was a simple as sending a photo of a our door and a few days later he installed a new locking sliding glass door on our back deck in about 10 minutes. Last week one of our tenants was accidentally locked out, I called Keyed Inn and they had the door open in about 15 mins from the time I called. They are very fast and responsive and have excellent customer service.

He installed specialty locks and helped us out in a jam when we our dog-sitter was locked out of the house due to a faulty lock. These are the kinds of folks you hope you never need to call, but are happy to find a company with this quality and reliability when you really need them.

He was responsive in his communications, managed my expectations well to get all gear we needed ahead of the installation, worked with me on the optimal installation and super efficient in his work. He finished what I think was a complex installation in a few hours. All wired drops were clean. I also added a couple of drops last minute in a few additional rooms which he happily accommodated. It’s been a week and all wired points are blazing super fast Internet. Cannot recommend Stevan enough for any network work you want to get done.
