Zack who I spoke with on the phone was amazing, and definitely took the time to chat with me before and after the clean to make sure the job was done right! Even during the clean I got a call to let me know that they were scheduled to be done on time, and I got text messages with updates throughout the whole process. The two employees who came to clean our place were quick and efficient, and waited while my roommate and I gave the apartment a once over before giving them to go ahead to leave. They wanted to make sure that everything was done to our satisfaction before finishing up which I really appreciated. Overall this was an amazing experience, and I would definitely use Joy of Clean again for any needs in the future!

Ashley Joseph rated it 1/5: Despite booking this company due to its many good reviews, Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the "Move in Cleaning (Ultimate Top to Bottom)". I requested the move-in deep cleaning before we moved in, so the house was empty and should've been easy to clean (it was not in terrible shape to begin with). 3 cleaners came and worked for about 4 hours, and at first glance/walk-through, the house looked great at surface level. I was very busy with arranging our move and didn't do a thorough assessment after the cleaners had left. However, before we were moving in a couple days later, I noticed so many missed areas which were supposed to be included in the package I paid for: the top of the fridge had a very thick layer of dust (months worth), several cabinets were not cleaned, there was old hair on the bathtub floor (had not been used yet), blinds were not vacuumed and there were extensive cobwebs in multiple locations, especially behind the blinds. We only moved in 2 days after the clean so the length of vacancy between the "cleaning service " and move-in cannot explain the level of dust and dirt that was left behind. I am so disappointed and cannot recommend this cleaning service to any friends or family and will never use them again.
3 "cleaners" worked for 4 hours, yet I didn't get the level of service that was paid for or expected based on the services listed in the package.

We closed escrow and took possession of a newly constructed home, expecting it to be clean and move in ready…it was not. I reached out to Sparkle and spoke with the owner who told me everything I could expect from his staff. He was even able to book my appointment the very next day. The team were kind, friendly, professional and incredibly thorough. They asked me what my expectations were and if I needed they to focus on anything in particular. I gave them my list of priorities, one of which was staying within 3.5 hr time frame, and they went to work. They cleaned our home literally from top to bottom and even went as far as to clean up any dried paint that the builder left behind. They used great products that left our home not only smelling clean, but visually clean. They left nothing untouched, and there isn't a fingerprint, smear or smudge in sight! We are very pleased with the experience we received from Sparkle! Thank you again for giving us our move in moment back!

We made an appointment for a deep clean of a 5000 square foot home and had a conversation with Daniel about the extensive cleaning to be done and the base cost of $400 for the first four hours and the $65/each hour over four hours for two workers and $92/extra hours if three workers were needed. We estimated the job would take two days at a total price between about $1000-$1500. We agreed upon a first day arrival time between 9-10am and we rearranged other plans. The night before the scheduled first work day, I got a text from the company (Daniel?) asking if we could push the arrival time to “12pm or a little earlier, but 12 to be safe” because the workers were having to work and finish another job that went unexpectedly overtime. Additionally we were asked if the workers could come on the second day between 845-900am instead of the previously agreed upon timeframe of 9-10am. We agreed and again rearranged other plans.
Today at 11:25am, I texted Daniel and asked for an ETA. He replied and said they were finishing up the previous job “in about an hour” and then would start en route to us which would take another 50 minutes. I replied that the new arrival time was not what he had stated the night before and what we agreed upon. I asked if he would provide a discount on the job since they could not meet the arrival time. This was denied. That small discount would have been a good faith effort to keep our business but unfortunately that was not the case. I asked for the owner’s name and contact information and was told that I was, in fact, texting with the owner. We canceled the appointment as a result. We will choose another company that will follow through with what they say that they will do and are more interested in customer service.

I cannot speak to the quality of their regular cleaning service, but I was extremely disappointed in the top to bottom service I received. Many of the things that were discussed on the phone and even on our walk through once they arrived were not done. My stairs were not vacuumed, light switches not wiped down, my upper kitchen cabinets were not wiped down but the bottom ones were. No baseboard were not done, kitchen window sills were not cleaned out at all (some small cobwebs were there), cupboards in the bathrooms were not wiped down either, etc. My house was generally clean, but no way would I call it a deep clean. Owners were very nice, but it just wasn't the quality job I was expecting from the price I paid. I was not able to walk around and inspect everything, so when they said they were done I trusted they had finished what we had agreed on, but was very disappointed in how many things had not been touched. They asked me several times to give them a 5 star review because they'd get as bonus for a 5 star review, but I told them I'd have to inspect their work first. Glad I didn't right then when they asked me to. So I would not use them again or recommend them to my friends or neighbors.

You get 2 free cleanings, however Tammy mistakenly scheduled a cleaning for my mom on a date that we were unavailable. So when I called to schedule my mom's second cleaning I was told the date they mistakenly booked counted as 1/2 cleanings. This made me very upset because my mom has gone through so much dealing with cancer and they denied her 2 cleanings based off of their own mistake. Tammy failed to even apologize. I think heartless people/companies should not be involved in non-profit organizations. I would not recommend this place. Very unprofessional. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the cleaning lady did a good job but the management needs improvement.

They called in like 5 to 10 minutes later with a estimate. After agreeing over the phone they had a truck out by 3pm that same day. The guy that came was professional and didn't leave a mess.

The tech tried to clean the tile in our kitchen but called me stating he wasnt able to clean the rest of the tile. Not sure why exactly he was unable to do that. Once he left, I came home and somehow our grout, where he had tried to clean, ended up dirtier than before. We were about to list the house for sale in 2 days. So I ordered a steam cleaner off of amazon and cleaned it myself. All it took was $30 and a little bit of elbow grease to clean it right up. So really, I'm not sure why he couldn't do it…

There was initially a miscommunication about getting the channels cleaned and Fernando could tell I was a bit disappointed. He apologized and he and his crew came back out to clean them.
