    All calls visits etc from sales, office and technicians were always on time. For the quote visit and installations they let me know who would be at my door with a photo, arrival time and name of that person.
    Tom, Tim and Brian (the installers) were polite and respectful of our home. They stuck with the job and only left briefly for lunch. They kept us informed throughout the installation. When work was completed they showed and explained what they did and made sure that the air was working properly before they left. After they left you couldn’t tell that they had been here other than there was a new furnace and ac unit. That is a good thing. Technician should be back next week to give us a more thorough lesson on operating the new thermostat.

    So far very happy!

Luckily I have the replacement plan as well thru dte I was told I would be responsible for bringing the install up to code I was told it would be $332 for a list of items that I have no idea are required to bring it up to code or not but I was going on day 4 of no hot water so I paid it. When they ran my debit card they charged me twice and overdrafted my checking account for which I had to pay my overdraft fees. When I called there immediately the girl just laughed and said she must of ran it twice. I didn't think it was funny at all as I was left with no money in my checking account. They did issue me a credit which takes a few days to post and I am stuck with the overdraft fee from my bank.

Another company had already told us the furnace needed replacing and didn’t work. HSC could’ve went along with that and I’d be none the wiser but they didn’t. They repaired the furnace, got it back online and saved me $6-$13k!

  • Michael Karesh rated it 1/5: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. BBB F grade. Assigned by American Home Shield, which is often a sign of an awful contractor. Seemed good initially. Then, after causing a leak that required cleanup, said they couldn't do the rest of the job that day because the cleanup used up the time. Then installed the wrong part, and tried to convince me that the wrong part (which lacked a drain to clear an outside not frost-free spigot) was fine. Once they finally agreed to replace the wrong part, they gave me TEN MINUTES to return their unscheduled call–on a religious holiday when I had my phone off–or they'd close out the ticket. So they closed out the ticket. This has been dragging on through four visits to my house (during two of which they decided they weren't going to replace the wrong part after saying they would) over multiple months. They will waste your time and drive you crazy.

The first guy that came out said there was no issue with it but it just needed a part added. It took a week for a second guy to come out and install that part; however, the second guy informed me the part was not going to help since the furnace is actually unsafe to run and I’d be putting myself and my house at risk by running it. Not only was I dealing with 2 wildly different opinions on a very serious matter but it turns out the second guy never turned his report in to this company or American Home Shield which has forced me back to square one to get this issue resolved as the weather gets increasingly colder. I’m not sure what this company cares about, but it’s definitely not taking care of its clients or providing even average service. I could not recommend this company less and would try any other options for furnace repair before relying on them.
  • Nick Spano rated it 1/5: This company was assigned by home warranty company (First American HW) to diagnose and fix my furnaces. Israel came out to look at the furnaces and diagnosed one as a broken gas valve and the second with a broken heat exchanger. He told us that he would "push for replacement" on both. A few days later he called me and told me that they could do the repair on the gas valve but the second claim (heat exchanger) was denied due to the furnace being under extended warranty through Carrier. The price for fixing the gas valve was unclear but he said there "might" be extra cost depending on if they had to "change things."
    For the heat exchanger he proceeded to give me a quote for a new furnace, even though I knew by now that Carrier would cover parts and some of the labor for a repair. At this point, I started to not trust HSC. I looked at the reviews here on Google and saw many people reporting poor experiences with home warranties and this company. I had two other contractors come out. One confirmed the diagnosis, one didn't.

    I asked HSC for a quote on completing the Carrier warranty work. It took four phone calls, sitting on hold, and sketchy conversations with Ross to get him to send me an email quote. When he finally sent a quote, it wasn't for repair but the quote for the new furnace (waaaay overpriced).

    Best I can tell these folks are trying to rip off consumers and/or the home warranty companies by double dipping. I took the cash out option from First American and had someone else do the work. It cost me a $30 more (on a $950 gas valve replacement), but they were up front about the costs and timely with responding to questions and inquiries. Finally, I found a reputable Carrier dealer to replace the heat exchanger and Carrier covered a lot of the cost.

    At best HSC is a lazy company, at worst they are trying to game the home warranty system. If you are wondering if you can do better….you can.

After installation, Mr. Manning took the time to explain how everything works and the maintenance the boiler requires.

    When Fall 2021 came around, they came out to perform boiler maintenance and I’ll be calling them again this fall for yearly maintenance.

    Today, I woke up with no hot water. I called at 8am and they were able to get someone to my home to look at the hot water tank by 1pm. The technician knew exactly what the issue was, went to go pick up the parts, then came back to replace the parts (very efficiently I might add).

    Definitely recommend as I trust their work. No need to go anywhere else.

I elaborated on the issues, I was having with my electric furnaces needing to be installed at my duplex. He replied and said he could install them. He Sent me his number I texted the address, UNIT 1: when he arrived he took pictures of the furnace then I asked was he licensed and he stated that he was, then I ask about pulling a permit for the job. He said (“I’ll go pull a permit when I go get your materials”) I said ok.
    He looked around made a call, then said it will be $1750 each to install . I said cool he said I need half now I said no, I’ll give you a 3rd of the money which we agreed upon at the installation. He leaves come back with the material, said the materials came up to more than the money I gave which was $800
    $500 for the first unit 300 for the second unit . Cleared has way and let him work. Gets everything installed incorrectly. Gets paid smile and say this was my first time installing one these .which after he finished he left my materials outside to the second unit. He stated he had to go handle business (took pictures)
    Kinda didn’t pay no attention because I was in a rush to move my tenants in. I turned it on for the heat so the guys can finish working but the breaker kept popping, I called him told him the problem, he said i don’t know why it’s doing that
    you might have to call an electrician because it shouldn’t be popping.I was confused he said that. Called out an electrician. He said that the wires that was feeding in the furnace was wrong and he never tied in my flex ductwork nor finished my cut out for my cold air return this guy is not good for business plus stop answering my calls to resolve the issue I will never recommend him to anyone, p.s I WILL BE SEEING YOU IN COURT BROTHER

The service was incomplete and they won’t fix it because they don’t like my review. I already paid way too much (so much I’m embarrassed to say). They ought to be ashamed of themselves. And they are not transparent with costs. Costs should be provided before the visit. Just utterly ridiculous. This is my first year with a boiler – this won’t happen to me again rest assured. And I will see these guys in court!

Way.Too.Expensive!!! This was not an emergency call. For the cost of this service, I should leave the mess and buy a new boiler in 6 years. Literally.

They cleaned the burner, level sensor, pigtail, and pilot. They charged me TRIPLE the National HIGH cost for a general cleaning and 1.5x the average deep clean and they didn't do a deep clean (empty the system nor descale the tubes). Moreover it was $77 over the cost he told me. “Around”

Replaced the sight glass when he replaced the nuts and seals but you could see water in the site glass. I really question if he could have cleaned it or just left it and replaced a $2 seal. Honestly, there was a very small water stain but nothing wet. I really question if it was a leak at all.

Replaced 2 straight vents that I thought was supposed to be $100 less.

They cancelled my Friday appointment and came Monday. It’s going to be chilly this week so I felt stuck.

2 stars because Brandon was professional enough.

He calculated the correct size unit for my house and did not try to sell a boiler too big for what I needed. The installation crew was on time and very professional. They answered all of my questions and explained the features of the new boiler to me. Also, very good clean-up after the job was done. Getting a new boiler is a daunting task but Supreme made it easy.

I've been dealing with a lot of companies recently to get my plumbing, electricity, and heating up to code and safety. I called Supreme and they had worked on the house through the previous owner. Like many of the reviews you see in their page, this is common and incredible. The technician, Brandon, came over, taught me how to use the boiler, fill her up with water, and taught me some quick trips. He made suggestions in what to do with the boiler, what to fix in the future, and provided support on how to keep up the boiler. It was very helpful, and the service from start to finish was great!

That’s 100 I’ll never get back. $100!!! Perhaps using it towards the repair would be a better use of the funds or just sell boilers.

    I was advised that my boiler ‘may explode’ or it’s far to old to be touched with out it breaking and being unrepairable, Because the tech ‘didn’t want to play with it’. He said ‘I could work on it’ but pretty much guaranteed that it would be a failure and I would have not much other option than to buy a new boiler.

    He also said key parts weren’t available.. the tech I’m dealing with now bought the parts the next day and installed them without issue.

    Another problem I had is going out to the truck to talk to the manager..why not speak in front of me? (Dodgy) I’m sure you all have your protocol and it’s a what you’re taught to do. But I had a company come out and actually and thoroughly inspect the boiler and gave me realistic options to repair the boiler and not once was buying a new boiler spoke of.

    The repair tactics are a bit much. but if you want a brand spanking new boiler please go with this company but otherwise nah. On a positive note the tech was respectful and well mannered and completely understood why we didn’t want him to repair it, while of course taking $100 for his eloquent advice.

    No hard feelings. I just wish for a consultation that didn’t feel like I lost so much. And in fairness you guys told me the protocol beforehand and out of complete desperation frigid temperatures, I agreed thinking repair wouldn’t be problematic. A $100 lesson learned. God bless you.

The service was incomplete and they won’t fix it because they don’t like my review. I already paid way too much (so much I’m embarrassed to say). They ought to be ashamed of themselves. And they are not transparent with costs. Costs should be provided before the visit. Just utterly ridiculous. This is my first year with a boiler – this won’t happen to me again rest assured. And I will see these guys in court!

    Way.Too.Expensive!!! This was not an emergency call. For the cost of this service, I should leave the mess and buy a new boiler in 6 years. Literally.

    They cleaned the burner, level sensor, pigtail, and pilot. They charged me TRIPLE the National HIGH cost for a general cleaning and 1.5x the average deep clean and they didn't do a deep clean (empty the system nor descale the tubes). Moreover it was $77 over the cost he told me. “Around”

    Replaced the sight glass when he replaced the nuts and seals but you could see water in the site glass. I really question if he could have cleaned it or just left it and replaced a $2 seal. Honestly, there was a very small water stain but nothing wet. I really question if it was a leak at all.

    Replaced 2 straight vents that I thought was supposed to be $100 less.

    They cancelled my Friday appointment and came Monday. It’s going to be chilly this week so I felt stuck.

    2 stars because Brandon was professional enough.

    Original review: We had a furnace installed by them 3.5 years ago, got AC added 2 years ago. In both cases we went with the more expensive option they offered. 2 to 3 times a year for the last 3.5 years the system stops working. So far they didn't charge for the service calls at least. But usually they cannot find the issue. Twice when the AC stopped working and equipment was frozen they just told me to turn it off for 24h.

    Also when they first installed the furnace and ran the ducts in the basement they didn't bother to insulate any of the ducts. They also put a non GFCI protected receptacle by the furnace in an unfinished basement which caused me trouble with an inspector later on.

    Given the price they charge their service is extremely disappointing. I don't understand how anyone here gives them 4 and 5 star reviews.

I had called 5+ different folks, everyone that came out said that my current one could not be taken out and there is nothing they can do. It was the same story with 5 different people even with the folks that installed my furnace just 9 months ago. I have been without hot water for more than a week. I googled hot water heater and JLH showed up in the list. I had called the 2 before them and no one answered. I am glad they did not answer because I got JLH instead. They are truly amazing. They came out the same day on a Saturday to check out my current situation. They said they will try to get the old one out and installed a new one in a different location which would be for easy access. They came out on a Wednesday, got the old one out, installed a new hot water heater in a new more convenient location and all in great timing. I honestly would not go anywhere else ever, nor will I even try. I highly recommend them. Very professional, very clean and just amazing people. Don’t bother with anyone else go with them.

I had an air conditioning system installed and one month after the labor warranty expired, they said I needed a new motor. I would be responsible for the $1000+ labor. This was two months after they installed a water heater that we have had nothing but problems with and that United has been reluctant to make timely service calls to fix. They can't seem to get it right after three long wait time visits.

Regarding the air conditioning, it sounded fishy so I contacted another contractor who came out (quickly, unlike United) and said the motor was fine and did not need replacement. The system had to be reset and it worked just fine. Why couldn't United diagnose this?

Never again. The United staff and technicians are out for themselves and liars.
