The amount they were able to get done in a short period of time was truly amazing, and we were also impressed with the quality of work and Chris's thoroughness and professionalism.

This is the first time I have used this company and I HIGHLY Recommend them! From the first call, to scheduling, to diagnosis, to repair. They installed a new sewer line at my house and gave me a great deal on installing a new water heater as well. With the water heater, they installed great new piping as well. Spencer was our water heater installer and he was very good at explaining how everything works and even checked out some other areas of my house I was wondering about. The sewer line installation crew was so good that my neighbors were complimenting their work. Lastly, Jon was the point person that made all this happen and he also was great to work with and always timely in his response to me.

Chris was here to put some new valves on our main water line, which he did very efficiently. When he was cleaning up, he noticed a badly soldered fitting above the valve he had put on the irrigation system was leaking and he quickly repaired that. Chris definitely went above and beyond to make sure the lines were better than he found them.
We also had Jon quote and coordinate a sewer line replacement in addition to the plumbing work mentioned above. Jon provided a timely, competitive quote discussing the options and financing available. He got the work scheduled quickly and checked in through the whole process. Jon proactively made sure we had no complains with any of the work.

Swan's sewer repair team was very professional and got it all done in a day with barely any signs they had been there. Gabe was out the next day to quickly jet clean the sludge that had built up in the cast iron portion of the sewer line.

Everyone from Swan did a Great job and we are pleased with the results of their work. I would use Swan again, if needed, and I recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or sewer work done.
Retired in09 rated it 5/5: I am so happy with the outstanding service I received from Leo. I’m 66 years old and have owned homes since 1982. I’ve used many companies to inspect and tune-up my furnaces. Leo is by far the best tech to ever provide this service. I’ve had some good techs in the past. I thought one in particular was great. But Leo made every previous tech look like apprentices. Leo was so thorough. He checked every component and operation. He explained everything he was doing, answered all my questions and provided great advice. When I told him I would ask for him in the future, Leo said all of Swan’s techs are as qualified and experienced. Swan Plumbing and heating is now my go-to contractor for all my furnace needs. And I will definitely contact them for any plumbing service. Thank you Leo and Swan!!

The lines in our basement in this 120 year old house we’re connected to outlets upstairs that sometimes caused breakers to flip. And we had extension cords just running everywhere here in the basement. Plus, we have walls that are brick and stone covered with plaster, some of which are a foot and a half thick. Solid, no hollows in the walls to run wire. Definitely not a job for an inexperienced electrician. Chad was not only skilled, he was thoughtful, responsive, and careful in tracking time and costs. He’s the full package! Highly recommended.

Also, I had additional questions the next day and received a phone call from the owner of Time Plumbing and his response to my question was above my expectations and extremely professional! Mandy Zatynski rated it 1/5: This is 18 months after my experience with Time plumbing, but I have had so many other contractors and workers point out how awful this work is (and that I was ridiculously overcharged) that I thought it best to share with others. In the winter of 2021, my pipes froze and we realized it was because there was an open outdoor vent blowing air inside my basement ceiling. They caulked around the outdoor vent and then they haphazardly cut this hole in my ceiling, stuffed a little bit of insulation around this pipe and then stuck a vent over it. (They also left all of the debris of the work behind, scattered all over my floor.) They charged me over $900. This is, in part, my fault for not knowing enough–but this is why I call (and trust) experts in the biz. I have since had the ENTIRE basement ceiling insulated (drill and fill) and it cost me LESS than this terrible "band-aid" fix. The experts who recently insulated my ceiling said, at the very least, they should have replaced the drywall and patched it (rather than placing a vent there). I'll be doing this myself shortly. I used Time previously for a water heater replacement and had a decent experience, but I will never call them again. I feel incredibly foolish, but also: If they're going to take advantage of my ignorance, they are likely to take advantage of yours. Go elsewhere. There are more trustworthy companies out there. EDIT: Adding a response to the owner below: I emailed about this (and the mess) March 6, 2021 and never received a response.

David Brooks rated it 5/5: My experience with The Weather Changers was totally positive. I booked the service online and the service tech, Bobby arrived exactly on time the next morning. He diagnosed my furnace problem quickly (clogged filter) and thoroughly explained why it caused the furnace to shutdown due to the internal temperature getting too high because the airflow was restricted. He also explained other common furnace issues and how I as a homeowner can easily fix most of them. He also answered my questions about heat/ac distribution in our house and how to make the temperature more evenly controlled between the upstairs and downstairs.
The service call was not cheap, $120, but that was made clear at the time I booked it online and I feel like I got good value from all the information Bobby gave me about our system.

Craig Horvath rated it 1/5: We started working with Finney Mechanical in 2018. Back then, everything was great and Gary went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This year, things seem to have deteriorated. In September, we scheduled a furnace cleaning and thermostat install for 10/7. Due to a scheduling error, we were bumped to 10/17. On 10/17, work was done and we were told things looked great. On 10/26, our heat went out. At first, they were going to respond same day but due to another scheduling error we were bumped to 10/28. On 10/28, we were told there was a bad wire and issue was resolved. Heat went out again on 11/10. No response to date after phone calls and messages. Hired someone else to see what can be done and now we're looking at a new furnace.

Anyway, we had Altitude out a few years ago when our heat went out, on Christmas Eve-Eve of all days. Turned out some sensor died. It was over $700. Sucked to pay but we felt fortunate we were able to pay it. A few weeks later, we were cleaning up our Christmas decorations outside and found the check we wrote… neatly folded and tucked in a wreath on our patio. I never noticed that it didn’t clear. I don’t know if they just waived it or maybe the technician paid it himself… not sure. But either way such an amazing surprise. The service was worthy of a 5-star review anyway, they came out same day and were courteous and professional. Then to surprise us with a Christmas gift like that… just amazing. Thank you!

I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to fall victim to their horrible standards. I would advise you to check Yelp or Facebook as well where Altitude's reviews are more indicative of what you get.
We hired Altitude to install central AC in our house a couple of years ago. In doing so, they drilled extra holes in our exterior (ones they didn't end up using), and caused water damage on our bedroom ceiling.

We found out later from another contractor (who's great), that they used wiring that was not up to code, and failed to install a drip pan in our attic (also not up to code), and that missing drip pan caused the water damage in our ceiling.

After countless hours on the phone and coordinating via email, altitude did come back to bring their work up to code (I think because , however they did not fix the ceiling damage and went non-responsive on us.

Do not hire these thieves. You will regret it.
Jeff Keith rated it 1/5: I have tried to like them but at this point must say Beware! AC replacement started out good, price was right and Doug seemed efficient on the phone. Installation done during cold weather, they had to come back in warmer weather to finish and didn't. Talked to Doug at least a dozen times and got the perpetual run around, eventually he stopped answering my calls and will not return messages left. Money paid for the work not done should be refunded. We did use his Tech- Amanda to finish the job on her own time. Paid her directly- She is AWESOME, a talented tech for sure. Doug- why wont you call me back- seems to be a common thread in the reviews.

We called to have our swamp cooler repaired, they were able to come that day and said they can fix it. 30 minutes after the repair, we had water overflowing on our roof nonstop – we had to shut everything down. I called immediately, sent texts, left messages to both the woman who worked on the unit as well as the business. I've continued to reach out, no one has ever responded. It's 95 degrees and we still have a broken system, after paying almost $500 for the 'repair'. There are so many better options out there – it may be why this business was the only one who had availability. Save yourself the headache, frustration and the money, this business is terrible.

Dalco and Travers are earning this for their warranty support of the unit. For some reason the unit started acting up about a month in but was working fine when Travers showed up. Instead of just shrugging his shoulders Travers dug into the issue and helped uncover a faulty electrical switch. Professional, diligent and friendly; would recommend

We seldom need the AC, but some summer days it is nice to have.

I highly recommend this company. We live 100 miles from Denver. Day & Night always responded to our calls. We have a professionally installed system that works better than I expected in this cold climate. Thanks for the excellent service.

Then 36 hours later they fit me in that Monday for a tune up to bring peace of mind that my heat wouldn't go out again. Robert and Santiago came out and were exceptional. They showed me where the problems were. They fixed it for a fair price, And they even showed me what needed fixing in the future and educated me, in lamens terms, on what I could do make the furnace stay operable. I love everything about these guys. Will use again, and definitely recommending to friends and family. Thanks guys

They connected me with Nick, who confirmed our problem via phone. Within an hour he showed up with a new pump. After looking everything over, he gave us an estimate, and got to work.

Nick was awesome. He answered all questions, got the new pump installed, and even finished slightly under the quote price.

The furnace was replaced, the 15 year old water heater was replaced preemptively and a new humidifier was put on the unit. A big project that Aaark Total Home Services managed expertly. They had five trucks to the house to get everything done in a day. They took excellent care of the house with runners and clean shoes/boots, and care to not hit anything when hauling old and new equipment. I would highly recommend Aaark for all your home care needs. My parents have had a variety of jobs done by AAARK and they (and I) have always been impressed by the quality of work, speed of service, and courtesy of the team. There was no question of who I would have perform the jobs.

Jimmy and Stuart upgraded my electrical service and combined two boxes into one. Unfortunately, my home has a very tight crawl space and attic, but they got the job done. They were able to really clean up the look, give me back some space on the wall, and set me up safely for some future home wiring projects.

Once the electrical was done, Travis and Chad were able to haul away my ancient furnace (they said they've only seen that model in the Lenox museum) and install a new, quieter, more efficient unit and thermostat.

While those items were being tackled, Nick and Michael installed a tricky shower door and made sure the majority of the plumbing of my long-term bathroom project were all in order.

The team will be out next week to install an evaporative cooler (6 years without any cooling system!) and I cannot wait to have that done and update this review.

Update 03/31: The team returned today and the evap cooler is installed and looks incredible. Very excited to have relief this year from the heat. It was placed out of sight from the front of the house and the registers are placed seamlessly to provide perfect airflow.
Brian Boettiger rated it 5/5: AAARK saved the day! Our furnace stopped working on New Year's Eve. We went 5 nights without heat during the holiday period when temperatures dropped to single digits. The original installation company did not respond satisfactorily, so on 1/4/2022, after a work associate suggested calling AAARK, I had a phone conversation with Michael about the situation. Michael at AAARK was both helpful and responsive, and immediately arranged for Chad to go to our house to assess the problem. Chad was very knowledgeable and considerate during his visit. The respective bids from AAARK to either repair or replace a 12 year old unit were considerably lower than the estimates received the same day from another larger company. Given the timing, availability of parts, age of the existing unit, cost of repairs on key components of the furnace, we chose to replace the unit. Michael scheduled the replacement for the next day. On 1/5, Michael and Chad were prompt, courteous, professional, informative. They removed the older unit, modified and improved existing areas of installation, retaining the humidifier and air filtration systems, (and were later joined by Travis). By mid-afternoon we had comfortable whole house heat again. Their work exceeded our expectations — providing excellent service with a very good value and quality. Upon request, they even safely turned on a gas fireplace that had not been used for years. My wife and I highly recommend AAARK Heating, Air & Plumbing. AAARK may save your day too!
