Williams Comfort Air / Mr. Plumber not only was able to see us day of, it only took an hour to call me back. We had technician Richard Pearson and he was absolutely wonderful. He was very personable and was able to show us the exact issue and how we could help prevent it next time. We ended up getting the yearly coverage after having it explained. I'm very pleased with how fast and courteous this business was and would defiantly recommend it to others.

  • Bill Rosario rated it 1/5: In July of 2019 I had a new sump pump system installed in my home by Copper Ridge Services for $2,100. Since then Copper Ridge was purchased by Mr. Quick so when my sump pump system failed in April of 2022 I called Mr. Quick and they sent a plumber that same day. Great!
    I said to myself. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty primary pump and controller. The solution proposed was a total replacement. Still, no cause for alarm. The surprising part came when he told me the price. $5,761, which was $3,661 or 174% more than I had paid less than 3 years ago for the very same system.

    Was it supply chain issues? Inflation? I wasn't sure, but I was decided to find out. So, I politely declined the quote and paid the whopping charge of $373.95 for about 1hr and 20 minutes for the service call. Suspecting price gouging I went to a local plumbing supply store which offered me the same equipment (same brand, same model, same everything) for only $926.56 ($991.40 after tax)and I figured I could get a local plumber to install it thinking it would require a little luck and massive plumbing super-prowess. When I unboxed the system I was shocked to see that the sump pump unit consisting of a primary and backup pumps with a controller system comes already pre-assembled so installation consisted of only attaching the 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe to the check valve in my basement and just connecting the wiring as laid out in the instructions. So I did it myself in about 1 hr and another $30 in pipe primer / glue and supplies. I am scratching my head wondering how Mr. Quick would justify charging $4,739.60 to drive a couple of miles, collect the part from the supply store and spend 1 hr replacing a sump pump system.

    I totally get that Mr. Quick is a business for profit and has to make a buck, so I was not expecting them to do something for free or even next to nothing. As customer I expect them to make a reasonable profit. This markup is very far from being reasonable. In fact, it is flat out abusive. This experience sure taught me a lot.

    UPDATE: Mr. Quick told me the warranty was for 1 yr (I had purchased the original one from Copper Trace in July 2019) The supply company that sold me the replacement pump system was glad to take the old one back under the 3 yr mfg warranty and credit my purchase back to my card. So I basically fixed this issue for about $30 in supplies and 1 hr of my time. Grrrrr.

  • Chris Greene rated it 1/5: So had and HVAC unit installed paid for everything out of pocket. When all said and done, the guys finished up and left. Went back to look at the unit and sweep up. Noticed old filter was propped against the wall, went to throw it away and there was a huge hole in the wall where they didn’t seal the intake. After seeing that started to notice more how the flashing didn’t reach top of the ceiling. Mister quick after saying they would refund some of my money for the install sent a guy to fix those issues, and the new installer pointed out more problems. The manager I was talking to then stopped answering my calls, or getting back to me when he said he would personally come out and take a look at the unit and get me some of my money back. Never happened. Have to say not sure if I will ever go back to them, and I would suggest others to look elsewhere as well.
  • Karl Taylor rated it 1/5: They ROBBED ME!!! Mr. Quik are crooks. Cost $3,555.95 just to install two 100amp main breakers and install 4 copper grounding rods. THEY DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM!!!! Outside power line was broke and was sending in 240volts in the house!!! Mr. Quik Damaged the wall in installation. Left ground wires above ground. Did a sloppy job like an amateur. Wanted $10,000 to rewire the whole place with new breaker boxes. Duke energy fixed my problem for FREE!!!!!
    NOT worth any where near $3000!!!

Sales guy was great and explained everything. Installers were on time and got the job done in the time I was told. My central humidifier on my furnace was damaged as they were trying to get it off of my old unit. True to their word, they returned and installed a new one for free. I am grateful for the great price, excellent service and no surprises on the bill. You can call the rest or call the best! One Hour exceeded my expectations in every way. I recommend them without any reservations.

He talked on his phone the ENTIRE time and he says that he took his work hose to his girlfriend’s house to water her garden so he needed my water hose to clean off my AC unit. I advised cody that i was having issues with my unit. I told him that i would set my thermostat at 70 degrees but my house would still be 78 degrees. He changed my furnace filter and stated that my unit was running perfectly fine. Fast forward to July my AC problem got worser. My home reached an internal temperature of 80 degrees on a hot day and air was not blowing cold air. I had to call another HVAC professional out because one hour could not come fast enough to double check Cody’s work. My HVAC professional came out and found that the capacitor wiring was burnt and broken off. One hour should have noticed this problem with my unit when they came out for preventative services because apparently my unit was not working properly. Inside of unit was dusty and full of spider webs so where did they clean my unit or provide preventative services. One hour will be getting a complaint from me and I will be getting a full refund for services not performed properly! Poor workmanship and i DO NOT trust their work. One hour will not get another dime from me ! They are just out for the money. It’s like they dont work on your unit so that it can go out and you would have to call them back out but that is not going to happen. Avoid one hour at all cost, spend your money elsewhere!

Have been told repeatedly that someone will contact me within the hour and still no response, or resolution. I want the receipt to prove i was overcharged a ridiculous amount for an unsatisfactory job. Charged 414 dollars to change out an old thermostat with this basic thermostat. No work on heater or a/c, just this simple task. And no wall plate was installed so it looks hideous. Even with 89 dollar service fee, there is NO WAY to justify charging 414 dollars. I believe they are trying to hide something by ignoring my repeat demands for a receipt.

He was able to come same day, within less than hour of my call. When he got here Trace asked us to explain the problems we were having and quickly went to work assessing the situation. After doing a thorough inspection both inside and outside he gave us a detailed write up of the only issue he found (significantly different than the prior company) and even provided us with photos and a write up to submit to the warranty company as the fix should be covered. We will absolutely be switching our membership to Service Plus thanks to the great and HONEST help we received from Trace!

    I called Stanley Steamer to see why my vents was blowing right put a camera in Vents and find laptop battery toys and trash causing blockage poor calculation.
    Chapman lady calls me Monday telling me that's not what tech was here to do I just bought this house don't play with me I'm retired hvac man.
    But she was quick to charge me $100 plus to have someone clean my vents…
    Lady PLEASE… I called the old house owners I told them they got screwed into buying a new furnace unit…when it was something simple as getting you vents inspected and cleaned.

They all worked great together. Vacuumed and moved furniture back afterwards also. It was great seeing my son and his dad working together. I called in and spoke to an employee who later said it could be repaired for $4,000. Got a second opinion for another company and they said all we needed was a $500 condenser fan motor which we did and now works perfectly. I will never call or recommend Williams Comfort air to anyone.

    We are new to the Central AC units so we don't know much about them. He was really good at explaining things to us. After checking our issue it appears that the installation which was from another company was all messed up. I am going to call that contractor about fixing it but if for some reason they don't fix it I will definately have you all do it and even if they do I will call you all for the yearly maintenance for our unit. He pointed out several things my old service company missed or neglected to tell me. They also did a great job installing a new humidifier. I'm very glad I gave Williams a try. I'll definitely be using them for my regular maintenance from now on.

I get this once a week they come out say it’s another technician issue set another date etc. for my size of home is showing a much bigger unit then what was installed. I have said this every phone call and yet they keep delaying it and sending out someone else who doesn’t know. I showed them electric bill that has almost tripled from last year same month. They have all these commercials and billboards but I feel they don’t care about what they have done since they have already been paid!

Took the time to listen to our concerns, explain everything and then let us make the decisions. I want to say that his advice was spot on. Maybe a little conservative. He wants his systems to outperform his promises. Started tracking our electrical usage after the new system was installed. During the summer we have consistently used 30-33% less energy than the same period last year. Our actual bills have dropped ~20% despite a rate hike within the previous 12 months.     We had them remove an existing furnace in our upstairs so we could begin demo to renovate. They then installed a new furnace in our attic. It took a couple of days to complete and was one of the biggest budget items for our project. The entire LCS team-Travis, Aaron, Jose and all the installers were friendly and professional via email or when in our home. This was an expensive project for us but the service we got in return was worth it. Cannot recommend enough!!!
