    But AB May was fast, neat, clean and did excellent professional work. Robert and Anthony were friendly answered all our questions even while they worked in 3 different parts of the house. I stood in the basement and kitchen admiring their work long after they were gone.

The entire process from the sales rep to the installation was top-notch. However, The biggest drawback is dealing with their "customer service" department. Dealing with them makes me have buyer's remorse. If I could, I would return everything in a heartbeat and deal with not having an HVAC system for the time being.

    The department that should set the standard for customer service does not know the meaning of customer service. I've dealt with multiple individuals, Michael Richmond *cough *cough, with a poor attitude and lack of care when dealing with customer issues. In addition, the department seems to lack any resources to help the customers. The typical answer I get is, "they will be there between 8-12" or "they will call 30 minutes before heading your way." Ok… I know there is a window, but can you tell me if the technician has an issue at the current job that might delay or reschedule my appointment. There has to be a way to provide transparency on the status of the technicians. I rather reschedule, knowing the technician won't make it to my appointment versus wasting my entire day to find out they won't be there at the last minute. Too many vacation days wasted just to make myself available with no service done. I expected more in terms of customer service, especially spending 18k.

    Overall, I've had a good experience with the exception of their customer service. Because of that, the only interaction I will continue with them is my complimentary maintenance and warranty.

  • Phil Ledgerwood rated it 2/5: Had a tech come out to replace cartridge and valve in my shower because it would leak through the shower knob when running. It's an older setup so I knew it would be a tough job. The tech at the time did great (although I have a hole in my wall from his first attempt that I have to tape and mud myself because I guess their plumbers can't do that). Everything else seemed to go fine.

    As he left, he told me the shower head would drip for a little bit then stop. I left and came home from work six hours later to find the shower head running nonstop in a steady stream. I also noticed that the handle would now only turn a quarter way, stopping at the lukewarm water mark.

    I called AB May to ask them to send someone to fix the leak, and they said that since it wasn't causing any flooding or damage, the soonest they could send someone out would be Monday. It's Thursday. So my shower's going to run non stop for 3-4 days. They did say they would waive my inspection fee, but the tech would let me know how much it would cost. To fix the leak they caused.

    So, my shower went from leaking when running to leaking nonstop. It no longer has hot water. There's a hole in my bathroom wall. They did all this, and I paid them $1400 for it. And it'll be this way for three more days, at which point they'll let me know how much additional I'll need to pay them to fix the stuff they did. Unbelievable.

    UPDATE: After some conversation with a different customer service team, they did refund me 10% of the job cost and cover the cost of the plumber I paid to come out that day and fix it.

    They have been to my houses at least 30 times, and did exemplary work each time. They did make one significant mistake, during a furnace replacement – but, they came back and promptly made it right.

The very friendly scheduler was able to get someone out same day which was amazing because it was the Friday before Christmas. Unfortunately the problem was not resolved during the initial visit and I had to call back to schedule a return trip. I was not thrilled that the first tech left without actually fixing anything. The second visit went much better and the issue was diagnosed and subsequently fixed once the part was available. Overall I am pleased with the service we received despite the initial issue and would call again.

He also explained that it took a little longer because they had to replace a rusted flue pipe (Which was destroyed) but the length of time was no bother for great work. At the end of service they completely cleaned everything and took all old parts. Before they left Jesus made sure I had no other questions. We will definitely be using Summit heating and cooling when we replace our AC unit. Great, quality service!

They left and said that Luis which is a very informative technician answered all my questions and was very patient. My thermostat would've been very difficult for me to download the app and connect it to the thermostat but Luis was very patient and wore his mask and booties like all of them did which I was impressed since I'm a retired nurse. Now I am very comfortable 74 degrees now than my last system due to Luis setting me up with dehumidification!!! We achieved 74 degrees and 45% humidity.Thank you all from Summit Heating and Cooling and I highly recommend them to everyone!! They are a godsend!

Turns out that my 'clog' in my sewer drain was actually a clay pipe that completely collapsed and need full replacement. Mathew gave me a Quote for the Repair and was actually able to get us 'flowing' for the most part until the Team could come out and do the Repair.

They had to remove the hot water heater to get to the furnace pull it out and replace the A-coil, replace the floor, put it all back plus replace the outside unit. It was a long hard day for them but through it all they joked and was beyond polite. Corky showed up with banana bread, that was amazing. Wes, Bo, and Dallan were working hard the moment they walked through the door. They even swept the floor before leaving. Full Nelson will be the only plumbing, heating and cooling company I'll use from now on. Great company and great guys!

This winter my heat went out and they came out quickly to assess the problem and discussed options with me. The best was to get a new system. They were able to schedule that quickly as well. I was not able to be home for the installation so my dad came. My dad is quite a bit more discerning than me about home repair/services. Doing the monthly fee to keep bills regular and to avoid bigger fees at maintenance time is genius! It is comforting to know that we have the same payment each month and our maintenance is covered for the year. Ends up being cheaper than the other company we used too. I’ve been impressed with the owner, Frank, and all of the crew that has worked at our home. They have reasonable pricing and will not recommend features, parts, etc that aren’t needed. All of the other estimates we’ve received sent salesmen out trying to sell the latest and greatest, but Frank is honest about what will last and work best for each situation. Highly recommend!

Gary came out right away and let me know my options. We determined the best option was to replace the furnace (from 1998) and they promptly brought out a crew to get the job done. They also found some work was done incorrectly previously so they repaired that as part of the installation. I feel their price was very reasonable and they were responsive, professional, and great to work with. Would highly recommend!

I called to get a breakdown of the price and the guy on the phone said "that's our repair flat cost, if you don't like it you can do it yourself". Didn't even give me a price of the item nor labor, just flat out rude. So I called another company to take a look and the furnace just needed to be cleaned. The pressure sensor was off because of build up in the drainage lines. I saved myself over $550(they still charged me half of "shipping charges" for a part I never got) by getting another opinion simply because of the way the guy on the phone disrespected me as a customer. Trying to charge a customer for a part they don't need AND not explaining the price shows what kind of company this is. The two gentleman that came out should look for a company with integrity, they deserve better much like the customers do.

He ordered a part first thing the next morning to make sure me and my children had heat. He was respectful and knowledgeable about his craft. I cant thank him and this company enough for helping me. He charged me 175.96. He walked out the door and it went off; so I was right where I started. I called and text several times. I had to get The Better Business Involved. Two others came in with their quotes and said he should have known it would not be repairable. He has refuse to refund the $175.96 cent. Blacked Own. It sadden me to know He would do that. So disappointed in this business. The best networking is the word of mouth. It can also be a companies worst. I will be telling everyone about the service I got or didn't. Yes I did report it to The Better Business Bureau. You ignored me for 2 weeks; I had to keep calling and calling. And Remember two others came also and their service was only 70.00. You charged me 175.96. Poor math half would been $83.00. You sent back 68.00 dollars. And you never asked to replace the furnace. However you are right I wouldn't pay $3000 for a new one. I am not the owner of property. Still disappointed. Customer relations were unprofessional. Called several times to get the 68.00. Only when I told you I contacted BBB YOU GAVE UP THE $68.00. AGAIN MY EXPERIENCE WAS NEGATIVE!
