I needed a door replaced on my Honda Civic, paying out of pocket, and Fred got me a great deal on a used door that looks perfect on the car! I almost forgot which door they replaced! They worked fast and delivered a day ahead of schedule. Diamond in the front office was so communicative and helpful at every step. I’d recommend B&L without hesitation.

They do excellent body work repairs and in the past few years have added a full service mechanical repair option to their facilities. This past visit I had them replace my rear brakes which ended up costing me 50% less than what I paid my regular dealer to repair my front brakes this past November. When I got the car back, much to my surprise it had been completely detailed inside and outside without me asking for it. The car looked brand new! They also do a really good job of continuously updating me on the status of my vehicle via email, so I didn’t have to call them to check on it. The front desk people are very experienced and helpful during the check in/out process and handled my insurance claim and rental car arrangements very smoothly. The inspection process was handled in a very complete and detailed manner, with ample documentation about the work that needed to be done. I recommend B&L very highly and have sent numerous family members and friends to them over the years.

Laura Brown rated it 5/5: I headed to B&L automotive repairs partially due to the great reviews, and partially due to the location I was at when I needed an urgent look at my car. I popped in without an appointment and the front desk staff was so kind. Jimmy the mechanic was there in the office and looked over all of my documents and gave me a preliminary guess as to what they would take a look at. He was very kind and you could tell he is a very trustworthy mechanic. I made an appointment to bring my car back after the holiday and I was very pleased with the level of communication I received. They called within a few hours of dropping my car off and gave the estimate and asked for the OK to complete the work which I provided. There were a few parts I needed that they had in house, so they finished my car within 24 hours which was incredible. The final cost was even lower than I anticipated, and when I went to pick up my car, I noticed they even helped to remove green paint from the back of my car that occurred a year ago when I accidentally hit my trash can (whoops). I didn't even bring this up but they took it upon themselves to assist which was incredible! My car is not only running better than ever but looking better than ever too! I was thrilled to find the front seats detailed and the car washed when I picked it up, which I have never received before from a servicing that wasn't at a dealership. I am thrilled with this service and I will continue to bring my car in from downtown to be serviced here.

TL; DR: I thought I was going to get top notch collision repair service based on the many 5 star reviews. In the end, I got a subpar poor workmanship with a side $100-$300 damage to the car parts and several ounces of frustration. For a place that is booking out to October, I would take my business elsewhere.

Just look at the photos and tell me what you think. The same thing happened with my car key. I put the spare for a side by side comparison. The right key was handed to the auto shop. What probably happened is because they are so overbooked, the detailers got sloppy and took shortcuts. They were probably handling acetone, methylethyketone (MEK) and some other typical paint solvents and probably never took off their gloves when handling the internal components of the car. Hence, why the steering wheel and car key fob in the right is smudged.

Quality of Work: This car has had work done at another auto repair shop outside of the state, so I know an excellent paint finish when I see one. Here, the paint job is subpar at best, with multiple artifacts that the camera can’t capture close to detail but you can feel with your hands. Some other paint jobs that the manager Gino said they would take care of was never done, and is downright sloppy.

Communication: Carla ensured that I would get the car in time when I had asked, so on that front she deserves a gold star. But the fact that I had reserved my spot a month in advance, put a $500 down payment, to only be told that I never was on the schedule despite the B&L paperwork specifying the date of my car appointment was downright frustrating. I even had called a week before to ensure my car appointment was still on schedule.

I repaired my rear bumper here in June 2022. I picked this body shop because they give a lifetime warranty for their work. When I came to pick up the car, the bumper was painted unevenly, and the paint appeared wavy and had many layers (thick). I am a woman and I could tell how bad it was at the first sight. They asked me to wait while they fix it. After 20 mins they brought the car with barely noticeable improvements. They buffed it real quick and hoped it helped. As a result, my husband picked up a car another day.
After a few weeks and a few car washes on all plastic parts of the rear bumper, license plate frame, and parking sensor appeared some white stripes and stains. It looked like it was because of some paint remover spilled on black plastic. Pls, see pics attached.
In 3 months I scratched my left door and I came back to this body shop hoping they will fix the issue with plastic parts under their warranty (obviously they used paint remover when tried to fix uneven paint and messed up color of plastic).
When they accepted the car the second time they promised to fix it and also buff some car parts as “compensation” for the inconvenience. When they’ve done the main repair they not only didn't fix the “warranty” issue, they also didn't do any buffing the promised. When my husband called them again they told that they can't do anything and basically it is our problem. No one denied it was their fault they “just could not do anything here”….(as the only fix is to replace the plastic. They tried to cover it with paint or some sort of plastic renewal spray but after a few days it always came off).

A couple days ago I got my car back from the body shop (another shop NOT CARRECTLY), and it was caked with this white powder residue, all over the different crevices of my car,
CARRECTLY said they could get rid of it, and they did, not only that, they made the cheap body work and paint pop, they took someone else poor work and made it shine.
I am more than pleased with the results.
Answered all my questions during the process, and they took my car and brought it back in less then 24 hours.
Super convenient, amazing results and fair prices, and above all friendly.

5/5 will be bringing my car and business back with them.

They picked up my car and dropped it off which was extremely convenient but once I inspected the car a lot of details were missed. Quite noticeable dealership paperwork residue glue was left on the left side passenger window, residue glue from window tinting was left on both front door window switches and removed "DO NOT LOWER WINDOWS" sticker (removed by me prior to having work done) was still inside cup holder, had to wipe down every window internally to remove cleaning product streaks/residue left behind. I think this business has potential but the explanation I was given was that it was human error and they could come out to fix the problems.
With a busy schedule I can't afford taking more time out of my day to re do a $375 service. 100% of this business is based on human work and when you are a car detailing service provider details matter more than anything.
If you have never tried this business maybe it's worth a shot but I won't be bringing them any more of my business.

Jin & his crew were super professional & honest. He gave me two quotes: one for repainting my car door/fixing those scratches & another for repainting my car door + getting out the small dent in my door (could barely see it, but I chose to do both). Both quotes were reasonable. My car was done in 3 days from taking it in & I was given instructions to not get a wash for 4 weeks so the paint can cure. Only thing I wish was better was the communication when my car would be done since I have a pretty hectic schedule. They called me at 2:30pm on Friday & left a voicemail that my car could be picked up before 5pm. Missed some of my class & cut it close but made it on time. Nonetheless, very minor. Great experience & my car looks great 👍🏽 Thank you!

My job was straightforward and to the point but I have the feeling it would have been a pain for any other center because honestly, I can be difficult. Just being honest. From the initial calming contact at a traumatic time to delivering my car in brand new condition. From the start, my estimator, Amanda was great. She helped walk me through the steps I needed to take and provided guidance on things I should and shouldn't do. She made the entire process extremely easy and simple.

Abner, who continued with follow-up messages regarding the status of my repairs was phenomenal. He provided regular updates via both text messages and phone calls. When sending a message to him, he responded very quickly.

While I'm not happy that I had a car accident, I'm excited to know that I found a great body shop that I can continue to use for years to come!

I was about to put my X5M to autonation collision center which i use to put my previous X5 for body work from accident back in 2019 but honestly i did not impressed with the processing time and job quality. I give perillo a try. My SA is Izekei , Aaron , and Amanda. They work and communicate pretty fast and know what they are doing in every step from dealing and contacting with insurance company. Job quality wise, the SA keep updating procesing and time to be complete the job. It is not fast since they have to order parts and customer before me but after all they did really great job. Thank you! I finally get my baby back with perfect condition!

They were very responsive and offered competitive pricing. Chris, the owner, handled the quote and invoice. Jarrod painted and provided regular updates on timing of when he would arrive and when the project would be finished. Both were incredibly professional and I won't hesitate to use this business again. The house looks wonderful!

OnDemand painters were very quick in providing reasonable estimate and then, once when estimate was accepted and approved, they were prompt in getting us scheduled. As is seemingly normal, scheduled start date had to be pushed back a couple of days, but Chris was very prompt in notifying us and once work was started, I couldn't ask for more pleasant and professional workers. Will definitely keep them in our contact list for future projects.

The work performed by Luis and Pablo was superb!! Luis and Pablo showed up every day on-time and ready to work. They were very respectful of my family and home and took the utmost care with my personal belongings. At the end of each day, the area being worked on was cleaned and kept orderly. The repairs that needed to be made to my walls prior to painting, hardly look as if anything was wrong with them in the first place! I could keep going and going, but just hire them for yourself :)!

Mario and his team, were price competitive, very responsive, professional, and the work was great.
The sixth star would have come from Mario specifically for going above and beyond to check over his craftsman’s work and sending us updates and his thoughts consistently.
I’m truly relieved knowing I don’t have to ever look for a crew again in Chicago. This will always be my team!

Not only was the price very reasonable, but Danny was super helpful and transparent throughout the process, and my car looks like it is brand new. Not only did they complete the job at hand, but they returned my car in beautiful condition and as if they fully detailed and washed my entire car. It came in looking like a mess and they went above and beyond to make it look as nice as possible. I couldn’t possibly recommend these guys enough and I’ll definitely be back to them for any future body shop needs j have.

I recently scraped the passenger door on a concrete pylon and had noticed paint chipping on my hood (likely from scraping winter snow and ice). I found their quote to be fair and in the end, they came in right on budget. They also finished 1 day early, also very much appreciated. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their quality work!
