Andrew V rated it 1/5: Was told when I started with Insight, that they would come out any time for a refresher service. The tech told me I should do this after a hard rain. Hardly rains in Colorado Springs, it rained hard, I requested a refresher, they all but said no, asking/telling me to wait for my next quarterly treatment. I could deal with that. My third and fourth treatments were completed by Orkin, a sister company. I chose insight because they use an eco friendly pesticide, as I have kids and pets. It seems nearly impossible to get in touch with someone at their office. When I was finally able to get in touch with someone, the woman I spoke to, to have my service cut off, was very rude, and dismissive of my concerns of Orkins pesticide.

We were charged as scheduled but unless you requested to have your whole property treated they would only spray the front. Never notified ahead of time of the date the tech was coming out. Even though we paid for the entire property to be serviced regularly. Any time we called the main number for the Loveland office, it would ring and ring and they were constantly short staffed.

This company makes an appointment for you via email without consulting their customers first to see if that day/time works for them.
The most I had this company try to actually call me was after I already told them I wanted to cancel my account- by then they already switched over to Orkin & not sure how much better that is…

Joshua Johnson rated it 5/5: I called Orkin this morning at about 10 AM, and they were able to get me in the same day between 2 PM and 4 PM. While that may not sound impressive, it’s a few days before Christmas, the high today is like 1°, and the windchill is somewhere around -10.
The rep showed up on time, did a great job, and was very thorough. He explained the entire process, and will be back next week to check the traps. Before returning monthly to ensure the process continues.

This is my first time using an exterminator, but if this is what they’re all like, it wasn’t as painful as I expected.

I finally decided to call pest control and High County was the most professional, most responsive one that I talked to. They were available to come out the next day and they even reduced the cost of the inspection fee because it was only the car, not the whole house.
Jeremy was professional and knowledgeable during the process and made me feel very comfortable with using my Blazer again. He explained the inspection as he went and removed a wasp nest from my car, as easily as picking an apple of a tree. He was very nice and took ownership of the work he does.

We pay for quarterly services around the house and they are always on time, give you only a 2hour window instead of half a day or full day and are absolutely flexible if there are short notice changes. In case you need them sooner than the 3months window they will gladly come out and check on your house, explain everything they do, are very knowledgeable about their products and yesterday I even received a free tip on how to get rid of gnats in the house.

After every service you'll also receive an Email with the explanation of all the things that have been done.

However, on the last couple of visits, I have been unhappy with service. We had an initial visit and the tech said that there was mice in the second structure. I asked to have another tech come to look and he said there are no mice in the second structure. I went ahead with the service, but I realized it is just a way to charge more for a service that wasn't actually needed. I understand that times are difficult, but it feels not very nice to be charged for something not needed.

The other issue is with billing. The representative that I talked with was very rude. And it just leaves a person with a overall negative feeling about the company.

I did appreciate the second tech that came in. He was honest with his assessment. Though due to the overall service from the company – I do not recommend using them as they are just looking for additional charges for services not needed.

They reported no signs of mice when I had an infestation verified later by the manager then consistently no showed for appointments with a four hour window wasting my days, won’t call back for days, can’t speak with anyone when there is a problem, randomly made me appointments when I am at work with no notification so no service could be completed. Chrissy rated it 1/5: UPDATE: Terminix sent the same guy out that I complained about last time and they swore would never come to my house again. He proceeded to beat down my door and flip me off. They better send somebody else out to do their final visit before we cancel our contract and never use them again. I'm tempted to call the news station over this.
I don't appreciate you sending this young punk out that's going to inform me of what a professional he is while he argues with me about spraying behind my couch when I have a contract. you guys have never sprayed inside the house for the last 9 months and the first time I ask I get attitude. he wants me to vacuum my couch instead of spraying when I paid good money for a contract. almost seems like he was refusing to provide service. I tried to call on the phone and got stuck in an automated system with nobody picking up for customer service. I can guarantee you we will not have another contract with you for next year.

He even took time to show my kids the nest comb with the larvae squirming around and let them keep some of the outer nest "paper" to show their friends.

They were prompt, friendly, and handled our problem with the greatest of care and discretion. I can’t say enough good about them. I also needed some assistance and called their customer service afterwards and spoke to Darren. He is simply a rock star. I felt like I was talking to a friend who turkey wanted to help. They sure don't forget to take your money the first week of every month though. The only plus is no contract but they seem to think they have no competition.
