Listen, I have worked in the service industry for over 25 years so I know how to deescalate calls and the worst thing you can say to a customer is "I'm sorry you were misinformed, yeah a lot of our customers don't understand how EasyPay works". Excuse me? What does that tell you about how you are explaining the agreement we are signing up for !!?? No where in my agreement does it state a difference between selecting to do autopay and EasyPay and the difference in price of I do or it coming out 2 wks before scheduled treatment! I understood exactly what you wanted me to period!! I read the fine print as well and AGAIN it states nothing about a difference in the charges. It's bad enough we live in old rundown apartments and a slumlord who won't properly treat the units so we pay out our pocket! We ONLY live here because we are preparing for our house. I am so disappointed and wasted my time and money to receive janky service! She on you Orkin on Huntley Rd Columbus, OH!

We knew we couldn’t tackle it on our own and that’s when I found Orkin. We’ve been with Orkin ever since! Living in a condo connected to other units can make it hard to manage pests, but Mr. Perez has made our lives bug free!! He is always in a great mood, happy, smiling, and takes the time to explain to me at every visit what he’s doing, why he’s doing it, and the status of how things are on the outside of our unit as well as on the inside. I’m always concerned regarding my cat, and he takes the time to reassure and explain to me the safety and excellence of Orkin and Orkin products, and my cat loves him and is used to him now too! It’s so nice to not have to worry about bugs now thanks to Rohylian – we can just enjoy our lives!!! His knowledge and good nature is a giant plus as well, it’s comforting knowing we can always rely on him for our pest control needs!

I called the number after hours, and had an appointment scheduled two days later. Our regular technician is Vince, and he is wonderful- polite, courteous, and helpful. We’ve also had an in-between visit from Tim, who was helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous- after speaking with the branch manager, Rodger, who, once again, was helpful, empathetic, and responsive to our more than unusual new home issue. I would highly recommend this branch of Orkin and am so grateful for their kind, professional services! Happy Holidays to you all 🙂

It’s even better if you have a service technician named, Alex. Not only is he really personable but he’s extremely knowledgeable. He took his time to listen to me, reviewed my issues of area of concerns and helped me plan for what was needed. He did not rush, he did not interrupt me when I was speaking and he’s super down to earth. I was simply just in need of quartet service so I don’t see any pest and we have a wasp problem I told him about during the summer months. I feel much more confident and comfortable with Orkin than our previous provider that we were required to sign a full year with. With Orkin you can leave with no penalty if you’re not happy- we’ve been nothing but grateful for Alex and his services!

I told the representative that I was at work and I just wanted to cancel. Of course he still tried to go over best options. I told him again I was at work and to cancel my services. He still didn’t get that I was at work and still tried to talk. I guess me telling him the same thing 4 times wasn’t enough. I then had to hang up on him because he still didn’t get the part where I said I was at work and just like he had a job so did I.

We have had a pest control expert come out 2 times, the first time was to provide treatment inside/outside for this issue, the second time, a man (name wasn't given) came and dropped off sticky boxes for rodents that we don't have. It's going on the 3rd month since my husband hired this company, both my husband and I have seen more roaches than before the ONE time they treated our home. They called to let my husband know they'd be here to provide our treatment and rescheduled but never came or even bothered to call and reschedule. My husband has paid way to much money for us to receive this kind of service. I'm very disgusted by their lack of commitment for customers in a contract.

He performed treatment to the outside of my home, explained what was done, and asked if there was anything else that I needed. When I mentioned that I saw a spider and a few webs in the basement, he offered to come inside and treat the basement as well! I was extremely grateful, and would definitely recommend him as well as Moxie Pest Control!

Had a no solicitation sign right on the door still came and knocked talked to him and kept being pushy. Then left abruptly very rude and don’t do business like that. Be a normal person and setup a time to go over everything and not try push me into something at my door. Welcomed to come back and try again or I can setup a time teach them proper techniques
mustanger24 rated it 1/5: Please do not fall for this company, read all of the 1 star, and 2 star reviews. Their pricing sounds very appealing until you realize the quality of work they perform.
As a newer home owner, I thought I would give them a chance to help with the common house spiders. After 3 services, there was no difference, if anything the spiders just got worse. When they come to do there service, they are at your house for maybe 3 minutes "reapplying the product."

As a homeowner, please just do yourself a favor, save a significant amount of money and get pest control from your local hardware store. Works significantly better.

Also keep in mind there is a cancellation fee if you don't do atleast 5 services.

The service people were great, they made sure to be very detailed and walked through took pics of all service done. Spoke with my Dad once they were done on if there was anything else he thought they should seal, block, cover etc.

They gave me a quote and once we accepted they were out there in no time. One of the team member Michael was very understanding and explained the entire process in depth. There no doubt that if I ever have an issue like this again I will be giving them a call. Very reliable and work fast.

Now I don't get anything on when you are coming. Other then that all is good. Tech needs to communicate with the resident either before or after the service or both. When they came the last 2 times I didn't even know they had been here till I got something sent to my email.

He said he would come back out in the morning within a couple of days and he never called or rescheduled me. I had to call again and now have to wait another week to be treated. This is not a good company as they seem to only have 2 people licensed to do my type of treatment and it shouldn't take weeks to get an appointment.

ML D rated it 1/5: I would not recommend this company for pest management/control. They send a different person every day to check a trap in the attic. They don't wear shoe covers, they have scuffed my walls with their ladders, leave smudge marks on the ceiling, and a mess every time they leave. Their techs can't seem to figure out where or how the squirrel(s) are entering the attic. The traps they use are useless and traps NOTHING!!! I don't believe they did a complete inspection of the interior/exterior of my apartment to identify ALL potential points of entry. If your techs could locate and seal the entry points they wouldn't need to come EVERY day to check those useless traps. This company are a pest themselves!

They did not take down our billing info prior to the morning of removing the nest, and called my husband and I 6+ times at 4am, when the time difference was communicated via email prior.
Grateful they took care of the nest quickly, frustrated they didn’t take our billing earlier or invoice us.

I did not get back to him until the next morning, but he came to my home within a few hours of that. He inspected our attic, identified where the birds were coming, talked to me about price before doing any removal/repair. Once I authorized the work at the price, he did it quickly and even provided photos for context. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Brianne Schwanitz rated it 5/5: We suspected a groundhog had taken up residence under our deck, and I talked to several wildlife removal companies before deciding to go with Varment Guard. I liked their up-front pricing, and the fact they didn't charge per animal caught like some other companies. After the standard 10 days of trapping, I hadn't seen any sign of the groundhog so assumed we were mistaken and had Varment Guard remove the traps (as we kept catching raccoons and opossums instead of our target). Almost immediately thereafter, we spotted the groundhog again and Varment Guard came out the very next day at no additional cost to reset the traps, and we finally got it. My technician Nate was professional and responsive, and I appreciated that he was upfront about the fact that exclusion options wouldn't work well with the layout of our deck, rather than trying to talk me into an additional service. Traps were serviced in a timely fashion, and if we ever have any other wildlife issues (likely, as our yard backs up to a wooded area), I won't even bother calling other companies.

I had multiple wildlife control companies inspect my attic prior to Critter Control and knew the condition and status of my current squirrel squatters and the tech here did not identify key observable items I knew were present.
The trapping service while a bit expensive was on par with competitors pricing and effective at trapping 4 squirrels entering and exiting my attic. I havent yet had the entry point repaired and will consider Critter control as the price is lower than competitors.

I did not get what I thought I was contracting for. I needed your company’s service to remove a critter from my attic, determine how the critters were getting in, and eliminate the entry point.

What I got were multiple squirrels trapped OUTSIDE the house, a list of 11 things that could be done to my house, and charges to my credit card of nearly $650. As far as I know, a squirrel is still in the attic, and how it got in remains open and unfixed.

When I was told there would be an inspection and assessment of the problem, I thought someone would call me afterwards to discuss what they found and advise me on the best way to proceed to resolve the problem. No one has ever called and explained anything. When I called to ask when someone would contact me, I was told that list of 11 things I was sent on December 6 was the explanation. I was so confused because the assessment was not completed until December 14. The list had one service alone costing $656, and I had no idea if that service would fix my problem. I was given no explanations, I only received multiple charges to my credit card.

Now the “assessment” is over, and I am in the exact place I was when I called your company to fix the problem.

This has been a total waste of money. The problem is unresolved. I still need a company to come out and fix whatever problem I have that is allowing squirrels to get into my attic.

This feels very close to a scam.

We called Scherzinger to start service and signed up for their Guardian program with initial service and then service every 3 months after that. We are so happy with the service we have received from Tammy. She was excellent in our initial visit. She walked our property with me, looked at our issues and even brought up other issues we might be having that I hadn't even thought about. We then realized we had a wasp nest under one of our bushes and so we called and they were able to send Tammy out the next day to help us. Again she was awesome. She showed up on time explained everything she was going to do before she did it and now our issue is gone. It was the exact experience you hope to have when having service done at your home.
