We live in Arizona and have always had a monthly pest control service. Unfortunately our service was bought by a large company and the service became disorganized, inefficient, and sloppy. I found Moxie Pest Control services from a sales rep that was door knocking in the area. I’m glad I spent time talking because I really needed to change. I was paying a monthly service and their ‘new and improved formula’ was inefficient at my home and at my neighbors home. With Moxie, there is no need for monthly service, however they will come out if you call them. In the long run, this service is more affordable. Please recognize Mr. Steven and Mr. Joe R (who serviced my first service and one of the first Moxie Pest Control employees in Phoenix AZ). I should have done a review back when I started for Mr. Joe R. Both, Field Experts have excellent customer service, are kind, professional, thorough in their work and pleasant to talk to. When we've had concerns on certain bugs they listened and educated us on how their services would help prevent future incidents. Both techs we've had lately, Diego and Jeremy, are extremely polite, respectful, and professional.

He was friendly and also shared some information that was very helpful to me as a new homeowner, and gave me his card if we ever need anything else.
Luckily the previous owners had a termite warranty with Action, which was transferred to us, so we didn't even have to pay for this. Over all, great experience with Action so far.

He took the time to point out areas around my home that may be conducive to my pest issues, and how to also help remedy some of the issues myself. He walked me through my home pointing out interior points of entry for the scorpions I’ve been seeing. He understood my concerns, as I have a 2 year old at home, and don’t want him getting bit/stung by scorpions. He didn’t leave one stone unturned, I’d recommend this company to anyone who will listen… Heck I’d recommend them twice, for those that won’t! It’s been less than 24 hours, and I’ve already noticed a significant difference. Dallas warned me I may see more bugs than usual (dead), and that’s just a sign the treatment is doing its job. Dallas is definitely an asset to Bill’s Pest!

BUT, in the several years I was with them, I never saw any improvement as far as bugs inside or outside. I'm going to give them the fact that I was looking for as safe chemicals as I could get, but I was NOT looking to pay for something that just did not work.
I was having swarms of giant roaches in my backyard after dark to the point where I can't use my yard at all without creepy crawlies climbing all over my feet! I could not even walk in the back yard without watching my feet after dark due to the sheer number of roaches out there. In the day time, I had to watch for fire ants everywhere. Finally, I was having them getting into my house through my bathroom drains mostly. This was the case even after Blue Sky had been out recently and, YES, I did wait a few weeks. In fact, I have had them coming regularly for several YEARS now, so there shouldn't be a 2 week wait to see results, because I was having them come out regularly! I would call and complain about the roaches OR the ants constantly coming up through my pavers and they would diligently come out and spray some stuff and nothing would happen! Nothing! I should see a few, dead bugs, at least, right?
Also, I got some rodent exclusion done and although Blue Sky did fix the problem, as in no more rodents getting into my attic, the price was 3 times as much as the new company said they would have charged for the SAME services and it's not the first company who has told me that price was crazy high.
Back to the bugs in the yard. The new company, the day/minute they sprayed my yard, swarms of bugs came scurrying out and died instantly. I wish I could attach a picture of all the bugs that scurried out in my yard and proceeded to start dying the minute he sprayed. That has NEVER happened with Blue Sky. That is what I expected, dead bugs. The price is better AND the bugs are dead or dying as we speak.
I hate to switch, because they all are very pleasant and responsive, but results. I need results!
Just a next day update. There are dead bugs all over my yard! Hundreds! Why did this never happen with Blue Sky? Isn't that what I was paying for?

We just found termites in our garage and Green Home sent Cameron out the next day to do a free thorough inspection. He explained the options we would have for abatement and followed with an email quote the same day. Daren is phenomenal to work with. He has done the yard bug maintenance and today took care of the termites. He explained everything in an easy to understand manner too!

Elizabeth kittredge rated it 1/5: My experience with this company’s customer service was abysmal. Took 8 days of calling daily to get a call back with an appointment, and I’m an existing customer with a service contract!
Appointment was arranged for 11/25/22 with a 5 hour window No technician ever arrived!
I called company, no explanation, they told me someone would call me with another appointment!
Finally, a technician called me the following Monday and arrived at the scheduled time on Wednesday.
The technicians were very polite and I have absolutely no complaint with them.
Very bad experience for a long term customer with a contract.

Courtney Craner rated it 1/5: I wish I could give this company negative stars. They are HIGHLY unprofessional. BEWARE if you attempt to cancel because they will hold you hostage. My business called to cancel services in May and after 2 months and 4 phone calls, we were finally able to speak to a rep in the District Office SIMPLY TO CANCEL. After speaking on the phone, we were told our services were canceled. However, come August, a technician showed up at our place of business to spray. WE assured us back in June we would not be charged and a technician would be notified NOT to come out. Now, it is the end of August and we are getting harassed by the company to pay an outstanding bill for which we were told by their BILLING department that it would be cancelled out and the employees confirmed our cancellation of service is noted in our account on their end. My last phone call with Carly from AP was highly unprofessional; she was unable to resolve the issue and I was met with the fake apologies I have heard for the last 3 months from WE employees and met with false promises to resolve the issue(s). Carly stated, "I do see in your notes you cancelled. Hopefully your invoice dispute will be approved." I have now had to involve the BBB and the Arizona Attorney General simply to resolve the matter with this business. DO NOT do business with this company.
Paige Nett rated it 1/5: Once they have your money, they are unresponsive. We had to remove their bait stations for a remodel. They wouldn’t return calls, so we removed them ourselves. Once to remodel was complete, I called 3 times a week, for 6 weeks to get a call back. Every time I asked for a manager or supervisor until finally my little game ended when an appointment was scheduled. Then no one showed up. Called the manager’s personal cell and got rescheduled. This time tech put stations wherever he thought was good, leaving large unprotected areas, and stations randomly placed all over the yard. Another tech had to come out and fix the mess created and even placing additional stations because first guy hadn’t done it right. If we had another $1500 we’d change companies.

He was very customer service friendly, he was on time, very knowledgeable and even funny. He definitely keeps it real with you and in todays world that’s all I want is some realness. He definitely didn’t just do a quick spray and leave. He took his time and engage in a little conversation. You can definitely tell he loves what he does and knows what he’s doing. This service was complimentary through my management company(I have to hire my own after this treatment). I must say the work Tony did today. I’m definitely switching to Urban Desert!!!

From the prompt, polite, and professional scheduling office, to the phenomenal service technicians, I cannot recommend this company enough. We've had the pleasure of working with service technician Jeff who always does a wonderful and thorough job, and today I had the pleasure of meeting Tony. Not only did he do a thorough spraying for insects around our property, but he was extremely kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

At some point Hannah also came to help and we had a great experience with both of them. My son said they looked like super heroes, because they helped us with the problem, since he couldn’t sleep at night due to the noise that the rats were making in the attic. They are genuinely good people doing a great job, very knowledgeable and kind! The way they work and present themselves also reflects on the way the company’s treat them with respect, per what they have shared with me. I’m confident we have picked the right company to take care of the rodents issue. Thank you very much.

Steve arrived on time to our house and is a super friendly guy. He was also very detailed working around our house as it is a new build. The next day, we already saw improvements with less bugs around and many dead bugs on the exterior! We look forward to seeing Steve on his next visit.

I peeked out the window and spied on him while he was treating my back yard, and he was more thorough than I expected.

Austin came out and did an inspection and recommended treatment, he let us know exactly how to prepare, and answered all questions I had ( I had a lot of questions) he was extremely professional. Within 48 hours I met with Leroy at the house he explained the heat treatment, prepared the house, protected the blinds and got started right away! He was also very professional and sweet! He even brought in a few packages we had at the door and locked up the business for me when he left. I trust this company 100%. We have not had any issues since the treatment and now have a warranty. This service saved my business and I am especially grateful to Austin and Leroy!! Thank you guys.

Luckily there was a cancellation in their schedule so they were able to come out same day. Austin came out to do the inspection and he was quick, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thankfully no pests were found, but we know who to call going forward to help us out. I’m ready to invite Austin over for dinner we loved him so much!! (: please use this business for your pest control needs. I am so thankful to have found this company and will be referring them to everyone we know. We can’t say thank you enough!!

Sandy rated it 5/5: Austin was able to come out the next day after we called and explained the process in detail after taking a tour of the house for a bug check. We chose not to do the heat treatment. He made sure we were aware of the fact that we should not keep our cat in the house while they sprayed. Leroy came out that week and helped move some furniture before starting. He was very professional and efficient. When he left, he called us to make sure we knew that he locked the house, as we were staying away that night. Leroy returned 3 months later for a warranty re-spray as a preventative measure (we had not seen any bugs after the first spray), and we have not seen anything since! This company is 100% awesome! Thank you AHPS!
