He was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. I decided to make the purchase and called the Co.regarding the estimate. They promptly transferred me to their installation department to schedule. They were very courteous and scheduled my installation at the earliest time available. When it came time for it to be installed there was a problem that the Model I purchased is no longer being made. They called me and explained my options and I agreed with their recommendation and they immediately sent Mike out to install it. I was not home but my husband said our installer Mike was prompt, courteous, efficient and worked hard to complete the job.

I bought two new bidet toilets (Korean made) from a home improvement store, who also offered installation. The guy they sent couldn't do it, said the parts were incompatible, etc. and said he would have someone call me later. No call ever came.

I found Mr Rooter online and filled out a request for quote. Within the hour, a rep called me and scheduled the installer for a couple of days later.

The installer (Will) arrived promptly, had no problem installing the toilets, and was delightful to talk to. He went over the features of the toilet with me and made sure all my questions were answered.

Just a great experience from top to bottom (no pun intended).

I called around but Mr. Rooter was the only place to respond fast. Chris and Sam were very friendly and immediately knew what to do. The job took several days and Sam’s communication throughout was great. He was very thorough, courteous, and professional. No one is excited about spending money on a septic system but they made the experience much better!

Not an especially good time to have a drain clog… I left a few messages on "after-hours" VM's and received a call back from Dan. He was very understanding of our situation and was honest about the scheduling, we had a service tech at our house shortly after 7AM the next morning. We also received a call to let us know the tech was on his way. Our service tech Parker, was a great representation of the company… he was polite, efficient, and had us back "online" in less than an hour. He explained everything in detail (before he started), and did a great job. Thank you!! Your team eliminated what could have been a fairly stressful weekend. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

After deciding on the option that worked best for me, he immediately got his equipment and got to work. Before he left, he made sure ALL the drains were working properly. He did great work and he was super honest. He told me what it was going to cost, what he was going to do, fixed the problem, and charged me exactly what he said it was going to be. What they DID do was take the extra time to examine every feature I had asked about and quoted me accurately and honestly. They were up front with risks and recommendations. On installation day, they did excellent work and finished the project on-time. They left everything clean and tidy. The recommendation they had for a new kitchen sink was spot-on and I'm very happy with the end product.

Common Thread rated it 5/5: As a customer, when you get top tier customer service, others should know. Hansen Family Plumbing and Air is top notch.
We had an issue with the AC not blowing cool air so I called & spoke to Gabriella who was courteous & prompt. She was able to dispatch Luis & Andrew to our home in less than an hour. I know that may not always be as convenient but we're impressed & grateful, nonetheless.

Both Andrew & Luis were able to get it working with thorough explanations. They also gave feedback as to some peripheral issues with the home layout. To wrap it up, they closed with a possible forecast down the line but didn't try to upsell us on anything.

They said we should be good for this & next year. If we have future AC issues, Hansen Family Pluming and Air is who we'll call.

Andrew Christensen rated it 5/5: Had Mark out, to look and quote to repair the leak issue that has been plaguing our home since we bought it from a terrible old owner. Had Parker and sons out initially to quote and then cap it until we could get our new on in. 10 months later, finally moving in and installing water heater and we could finally remove the cap, to find that it was capped too short. Everything we tried to fix it, the solder would break due to it being cut/capped wrong. Mark took a look, gave a very straight forward price that was right around the budget I planned for to have it fixed, and got it done very well. Super friendly, and even did the right thing by offering items that are included with the service anyways that I didn't even know was included! He even helped give some additional recommendations for some additional work we are looking to have done, and what to watch out for. He was overall focused on making sure this was done right, and that we were happy with what he was getting done. Overall just super pleased with everything Mark did for us, and how quick and efficiently he was able to get our issue taken care of. If I could give this a higher rating I would. I rarely leave any reviews/feedback, and this was one thar just had to be said and shared. Not to mention what they offer for veterans, teachers and others to help with discounts all without me even asking. He just wanted to make sure he could help as much as possible, and we are so very very thankful with what he and the Hansen Family Plumbing was able to get done for us!!!!

I promised these guys I would write them a great review! We were scheduled for a new HVAC system to be installed in October with fingers crossed! However our AC went out the day we got back from a vacation which was Sunday. Monday AM, the next day the guys from Farnsworth came out and attempted to charge the old system to see if it would get us by until October. They didn't charge us for this!

When it didn't work, they came back with portable AC units to get us through until they could put us up on the schedule for the following Wednesday.

They showed up when they said they would, they got the work done in an amazingly short amount of time, they cleaned up after themselves!

They also improved the ducting system in part of our house and they were not wrong in promoting the unit that we bought from them. It's quieter, it cools more efficiently. Our electrical bill has already dropped because we now have a more energy efficient unit.

Of all the companies that came out to give us estimates they were the most professional and incidentally, the best price!

James Volpe rated it 1/5: Farnsworth Heating, Cooling & Plumbing installed a new energy- efficient two speed 5 ton split heating/cooling system October 2021.
Farnsworth turned out to be a complete fail in servicing my AC units, and later I found out they did a poor job in installing the new unit in the first place.

During the annual A/C check late in the spring of this year, Chris the tech, indicated the new unit’s condenser was failing and should be replaced and that the new unit’s drip pan was badly rusted and not draining properly. Additionally, under the contract, the annual check is supposed to include a chemical coil cleaning which Chris failed to do, stating the chemical cleaning was not included (even though the contract does specify the chemical cleaning is part of the service). He did not have a replacement condenser in his truck and also did not have a vacuum to blow out the clogged primary drain. I asked him on his next visit to the area (they only service our area on Wednesdays) to install the replacement condenser and blow out the primary drain line. He never returned.

In the Phoenix August heat, the condenser on the unit he installed 3 years ago failed and the unit would not operate. I called for service on a Monday evening, Chris came on Wednesday and said the AC/Heater needed a software update, but that he did not have the correct phone to install the software update via Bluetooth and that he needed an IT specialist to do the software install. (I offered to use my phone to download the software, he refused the offer. I had the sense he was lazy or just did not have the training). He did not test or replace the failed condenser or try to repair or blow out the primary drain. He left after basically doing nothing.

After he left, I went on to the manufacturer’s website, located the App needed to update the system’s software and ran the update myself. It took all of 15 minutes to download the app, connect via Bluetooth and run the update.

I called the Farnsworth office several times and was told they would get back to me but never did. After my fourth call, I left a message and the Manager Joe returned my call. This is one full week after the unit failed. Joe said they just did not have the technical staff available to fulfill the terms of the service contract, and no tech available to come out until the follow week. His suggestion was to find another service company. I cancelled the three service contracts on the spot and they did refund the service contract cost.

I called a local service, Cool Breeze Heat & Air LLC, and they arranged to have their service manager come out that morning to assess the situation and perform the service. He found the system’s software up to date, found the condenser had failed but was still under warranty, and installed the replacement immediately. As part of his inspection he went into the attic to examine both AC units. The original 19 year old unit was still operating fine and within service parameters. The new unit however was another story.

The AC unit and drip pan was installed off level, so the primary drain was actually draining on an incline, forcing water to pool and cause a rust stain in the drain pan. This forced the unit to drain out of the secondary backup drain, staining the outside of the house uppermost drain outlet. He also discovered the install failed to take advantage of the unit’s built in two stage energy efficient capability such that stage 2, the high fan/high output stage was the only stage working.

Cool Breeze came back a day or two later to correct the primary drain issue and to rewire the unit to work properly.

I contacted Farnsworth and told them I expected the to do the right thing and pay for the $1,200 repair service cost to correct their faulty initial install. Not surprisingly, I’ve heard no response from Farnsworth.

Bottom line, Farnsworth provides poor, inadequate installation of new units, poor and incomplete annual service for AC/Heating systems and poor customer service.

I had a new AC installed in May 2022 because of Chris's recommendation because old unit would have costed me about $3,000 to maintain. I wish I would have got a second opinion. I was told that I would have 3 year semi-annual maintenance, 2 whirly birds installed at a discount and duct cleaning included. I did get whilrly birds installed at discount but that is it. I have contacted them many times concerning the duct cleaning. I never received a response. I check receipt. It was not on it. Lesson learned. Get in writing. I recently called to get fall maintenance done on new system. Office scheduled it. I received a call from Chris stating that they could not touch ac unit for a year because or warranty on unit. I also finally agreed to pay for the duct cleaning to get it done. I was given a date of Oct 10 by Chris. It was a no show. No call. No nothing. I sent several messages with no reply. Wasted day. I asked that he provide me with warranty information on unit. Still no reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Makes me wonder if they will even service maintenance after 1 year. If not, I plan on taking them to court for breach of contract. Once again. Do not use !!!!!!!
Parker Wilson rated it 1/5: System was installed by Farnsworth. System was not routed correctly and leaked onto the ceiling. Ceiling drywall and insulation fell on the carpet. They didn't route the drain line into the new system. After they fixed the drain line the AC unit fell and caused more damaged not only to the drywall but the air handler itself and they refuse to fix it making excuses left and right. Reviewed the installation and there were broken straps, bottles of Gatorade left and the worst part is that the rigged my new plenum I purchased to fit the ducting. Half the ducting was hanging off the plenum and the planum replaced was said to be bigger but was almost 1/2 the size of my old one. Had to call the ROC and still in the process of getting it 100%. Don't call this company. Spend the extra $200-500 and get someone who cares and does it right the first time and not 30 trips later and still haven't been able to get the job done. Completely brand new replacement … what a poor joke.

Jesse was prompt, responsive, let us know when he’d be arriving etc. We hit a few bumps with parts availability and some unexpected damage but Jesse worked it out and communicated with us the entire time so we knew what was going on. He was courteous and respectful of our work from home environment and with our animals. His kindness and professionalism is Priceless, so if I think about it, maybe we got More than what we paid for. 😎

They've helped me with leaking pipes, toilet installation, sink installation, RO system maintenance, and drain cleaning. Just recently had a water leak and after quickly assessing the the source of the leak and repairing it, Josh referred me to a wonderful restoration company who not only fixed my problem but assisted me with navigating the insurance claim. He then tried to retrieve it, but he only pushed it further back. We knew we needed to get it out to avoid possible back ups in the future. That is where Kendall Plumbing and Warren came in to save the day! They don’t make a tool specifically for this job, so Warren had to come up with an option to get it out. What I appreciate so much was he kept trying and didn’t give up after a couple of failed attempts. What a sense of relief I felt when I saw him pull it out of the drain! We will definitely be using them for all of our plumbing needs in the future! Trust me, you don’t want to call the other guys! Thank you Warren and Kendall Plumbing so much!

If you are a landlord, they do a great job of coordinating with your tenant and keeping the landlord informed. Efficient e-mail invoicing and payment system. They also work on reverse osmosis systems and do a better job than companies solely dedicated to R/O systems. Be a good customer and have photos and/or detailed info of the problem and you can set everything up by text.

John Emmert rated it 1/5: I've used Jimmy Joe's in the past, but the actual owner came out those times (R/O water filter installation and remove/reinstall toilet for new tile). I'm not sure who the person they sent out this time was, but he had no clue whatsoever, or he had instructions to up sale. Didn't have parts to fix leaking faucet (it's a Delta, not like it's unusual or anything, but it is what it is). Original Crane toilet, yes it is at least 25 years old, but they haven't exactly changed designs a lot in the past 60 years or so. I had a "universal" repair kit, plumber insisted it wouldn't fit. Sorry, it fit the other two identical toilets in the house. "It will double flush", sorry, not if you install it correctly. Wound up having to call their office and order the belligerent person out of my house (yes really, that bad). It's a shame, they've done a good job in the past (including removing this exact toilet, letting a new tile floor be installed, and then placing the toilet back). They did this 3 years prior, and THEY were the ones who installed the "it's too small, they don't make that anymore" part. I'm over 60, have bad arthritis, and didn't want to be bending over replacing the parts in the toilet. I'm not going to be insulted and have an obvious up sale/lie from the "plumber" try and tell me I must replace the toilet instead of using a $20 part and an hour of labor. Very odd, Google shows me this review, but doesn't show it to anyone else. What gives?
Update, I replaced the leaking seal (flapper, etc., a $20 kit) with the one they told me doesn't fit. They just want to upsell you into buying a new toilet, and Google should be ashamed of themselves for hiding critical reviews. The owner needs to be much more careful who they hire, or what they instruct him to do, you lost a customer that had used you 4 times in the past.

He has fixed a leak under our toilet, installed a new toilet, cleared a clogged bathroom sink, installed a new water heater, replaced all the filters and mounted an existing RO system to the wall, and he just repaired a leaking pipe we had underground. While our house has abnormal piping every job he has done has turned out impeccable. He’s coming back to repair another leak he noticed from a previous repair man. Pat is very honest and to the point. His pricing is very affordable and he doesn’t price gouge. We couldn’t be happier and lucky that we found Pat.

They were efficient and left the work areas immaculate. Pat explained the basic plumbing concepts to me allowing me to understand my options going forward. I very much appreciated that for the first time ever in having a trades person in my home there was absolutely NO denigration of any previous work done in the home which is an important indicator of integrity to me. The cost was reasonable and as the company name says–affordable for me. I would not hesitate to use his services or recommend Affordable Plumbing to any and all who would need plumbing services.
