According to the technician, they were only tasked to install the furnace and connect the pipes to the existing infrastructure which yeah that's fine most of the time… except in my case the exhaust vent ended in my attic so for a year I've been living in a home that's basically had the equivalent of a car running in it. I only noticed what was going on because my wife noticed some signs of water damage coming from the attic which prompted me to climb up there. It seems like a really simple situation that could have been avoided if the original installer just cared enough to QC their work.
If you are here then you probably don't know the ins and outs of these systems like me which is why I'd recommend going to a different company that cares about the quality of their work.

They scheduled me for a morning to 1pm window on the next day (Monday). The service rep wasn't able to make it until noon on Tuesday, but the dispatch called me twice on Monday to update me and let me know what's going on with them not being able to make it that day.
Pricing was transparent ($319/hr at time of writing before the $75 can discount), and it was fixed within the hour. Brad, my service rep, was super knowledgeable and definitely had my best interest in mind.

I called about 10am Friday and had an appointment at 12:00pm. WOW. Quick! Tyrone and John let me know 15 minutes out of their arrival and they were friendly, and got right down to business. They diagnosed, explained my options, and remedied the problem quickly. They found that a clean out pipe had never been accessed before (even though I had a different company hour just a year prior for a back up). They opened up a hole in the wall to access it and cleaned out decades worth of crud out of it. They let me know where I could find a door to purchase and cover the valve. Now, it will be easily accessible in the future. They cleaned up after they left, which is always appreciated. I am very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend them! They earned a new customer for the future!

Both plumbers were outstanding! They wore booties to protect the floor, we’re clean, professional, pleasant, amazing. Far and away the best plumbing experience I’ve ever had!

One plumber maybe wasn't super professional, but I'm not worried about that. One was still learning but worked hard. He may have made some very minor mistakes, but he worked hard and cared about the quality of the job, so I didn't mind. My home was left very dusty and dirty because of the work. I wish that dust at least could have been minimized more, but I know this work is messy. The office people were very responsive. I did have like 3 or 4 different people and numbers contacting me, though, and that got a little confusing. I would have preferred to do the negotiating and communication of time and price with one (at most two) people in the office. The priced seemed high, but I think that is just our world now. Everything costs more. I'm willing to pay more if the work is high quality and will last, though.

My husband and I were impressed with his work ethic and how personable he was that we special requested him to replace our water heater today. The coldest day of the year, -37° windchill, Ron showed up and finished the job. We are already planning for him to come back in the Spring to run a camera through our pipes. The most problematic was a kitchen sink drain that had a 'years worth' of sludge built up. He worked diligently to remove the stubborn clog. He was courteous and went above and beyond to clean up after himself and update me with everything he did. The quality service he provided was 100% consistent with all the work we've received from In-Law over the years. Exactly why we're happy repeat customers.

The last time was just a few weeks ago, right before Thanksgiving they helped me with my water pipes issues but a few months ago they helped me too and plus a few years ago they replaced my water heater,but also before that they scoped my sewer. Four times I have called upon In Law Plumbing and they helped me at a very reasonable price. And they did a good, quality job too. I have always found them to be fair in their pricing. They always gave me an estimate that was much lower than other plumbers and they held to the estimate once the job was complete.They have integrity.Their plumbers are knowledgable, courteous and they clean up after themselves. The plumbers are nice and friendly. And I was very pleased with their work. Also, Bernie is great with estimates and paperwork. I had extra paperwork and Bernie was super nice about helping with it .I highly recommend In Law Plumbing.

But with some creative thinking they were able to perform the repairs needed and at the originally quoted estimate–and our shower's never worked better. Very responsive & flexible, able to work around our work schedules and call us after hours to discuss options & make plans. Will be using again!

They assumed it was because of the freezing weather we were having and suggested running a space heater in our garage below the pipes in question until they could get to us. Sure enough after several hours, the drain cleared, costing us nothing. In-Law is always our first call for any plumbing issue.

While I was reaching out to prospective companies, they were the only company to take the time to tell me what and how they were going to replace my sewer in a trenchless manner which I greatly appreciated. It was icing on the cake when I realized that they truly are a family owned business.

He even removed his shoes before entering the house and was conscientious about protecting the floor and area around where he was working to prevent damaging anything. Missy Smith rated it 1/5: They came to my home to give me an estimate for hooking up a new kitchen sink. Including putting together the new sink together and one shut off valve. A 400.00 dollar service from any other company I spoke with and that was the high side of them. The estimate he gave me was for 1235.00 a complete rip off never use this company. They want me to pay 149.00 for an estimate. He was at my home less than 5 minutes and not a tool used are you kidding. What a joke. I didn't realize they would be 4 times higher than any other plumber. What a complete scam I bet they just make money from the estimates and never actually do any work.
I would like to ad that after posting this review they had me call the office manager who was not in. The assistant manager did end up waiving the fee. I was told the new program they are using is sometimes not good.

hlndhusker1 rated it 5/5: I have nothing but good things to say about this company. First of all it was New Years Eve and guests were showing up for dinner when we realized that we have a problem. I immediately called our HVAC Contractor who we have a service contract with. This company who happened to do some work on the pipe weeks prior that was spraying all over my utility room. After calling their emergency after hours answering service and waiting 40 minutes for a call back, the gentleman at the other end used every excuse to not send someone out because of the holiday. He simply said since the water leak is slowing , it will eventually stop after shutting off the hot water heater. My only option is to call the office on Tuesday to set up a service call. No hot water for three days?
Not Acceptable!
Becklund Pluming came to the rescue! They were courteous and set up my appointment for 8am the next morning. The technician was was on time, knowledgeable, and got our repair done in a timely manner. He was apologetic for holiday rates, but got the job done quickly and afterwards showed me his quality work. We were very thankful for Backlund Plumbing as they restored our issue and we had hot water within 20 hours after discovering the water issue.

They came out per my request to SNAKE my drains! THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. He added water to the p traps! I Called again actually text because they don’t answer the phone and said it still isn’t fixed, you didn’t snake the drains! Reply we can come back for another fee! This is 900$ later! They tell you the fee is 150$ an hour try 220$ and no results!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE CRYING MORE!

Marc Docken rated it 5/5: Over the weekend, (Sunday) we had major draining issues, we texted two men and and snake,, they responded back with in 15 minutes, they said they would have someone at our house withing 30 minutes, we wanted to wit till Monday morning because we were installing a new toilet, at 9:00 o'clock this morning they were at our front door,, let me just say this, this service technician was beyond skillfull, knowledgeable, polite, he went out of his way to see that the job got done.
We offered him a cash tip, but he wouldn't accept it, he just responded by saying,that's are integrity to work hard and make the customer happy, all we have to say about this company is, GREAT WORK.. AWESOME EMPLOYEE, JOB VERY WELL DONE, AND WE NOW HAVE YOU ON OUR SPEED DIAL.

My building manager got them to fix my kitchen sink. It was a work day so I came in 15 minutes before the guy so that I can open my apartment and I left to go back to work before he came.
I came back about 15-20 minutes after the guy left, the kitchen sink was fixed, but I noticed something weird in the bathroom, someone had been in my bathroom, left the toilet seat up and used the towel I use for my body to clean up something they spilled on the floor, I called the guy and of course he denied it.
When I called a second time, the guy confirmed that no one else had come into my apartment and I returned shortly after he left.

I know my toilet seat didn’t lift itself up, and the towel didn’t just magically fall on the floor and magically soak up some liquid, because I hung a smaller towel on top of it and that one was roughly tucked into the towel holder, while the other one was on the floor. If the towel fell, the one on top should’ve also fallen. Also there was no leakage of any form on the floor of my bathroom so where did the liquid come from? I used the bathroom before I went back to work so I know that’s not how I left it.
I found the whole ordeal very disgusting and disturbing.
Sandeep Borwal rated it 1/5: I took the quotation for pipeline and i got an estimate of 1260 (as per him it will be done in 700 to 800 )but he said i am estimating extra for any problems we face and in any condition the bill will not be more than 1260 in any case .
After work was done they gave bill of 1800$.I said ill take to the manager and she was very rude and said they cannot do anything you have to pay or they will take out everything they installed and wont make it as it it was before .
They are not professional –>
1) for each T or pipes they would go to Menards every hour and bring only one pipe or things. Then after another hour they will again go to Menards to buy same thing .This will happen whole day.
2)They did not glue the pipes. Luckily before starting water we observed it and saved some time and they had to apply glue to fix pipes.
3)They would say some parts are not present and roam about for 2-3 hours and say its not available any place around.
4)All plan was discussed how it has to be done but they will say its not discussed, so please write that down in estimated. They will never write in estimates and later on they will blow your bill 50-60%.
5)whole day they will be fighting with each other and pass hours.

Neither the manager nor employees will help you and threaten you for the extra money. They would say we had to but some extra stuffs and the money is for it .if you ask items added extra they will threaten you and say you need to pay any how else collections team will collect it. He also threaten to taken out some parts of pipelines and say if you don't pay we will not start water supply.

Please be aware of this company and plan to have 60-70% bill rise above the estimates. The company is so cheap they would buy pipes and t's only one piece at a time and go every hour to Menards to buy another one.
