Robert Mitsos rated it 5/5: They built an amazing 25k gallon 20x40ft inground pool at my home in 2005 and Ive gotten such an amazing use / ownership experience with the design / build quality of their product. Definitely would recommend. From day 1 they came out and made sure we understood how to operate and maintain the equipment. We had our liner replaced a few years back by them and the following year I accidentally left the backwash valve open (pump was off) and woke up to a completely drained pool (when the pump kicked on it drained which was obviously my fault) and miraculously they were able to come out and reset the liner so that I wouldn’t need to purchase another one!!! Its been 6 years since that happened and the liner is still holding up well!! That was the moment that I really knew they valued me as a customer. If you are considering building an inground pool you absolutely can be confident that you will get a product that you will LOVE!!!!

Cee Cee rated it 1/5: Russell pool came out August 11th 2022, to change the sand in my swimming pool filter. Initially I was quoted a price $350.76. Upon completion of the job, the technician handed me a bill for $508.76. In questioning the bill, the technician advised me that Rose made an error on the price. However, Russo Pool never notified me of a price change.
Therefore, Russo Pool blindsided me and they should have honored the price that they quoted me prior to the arrival of the technicians. Then, a few weeks later there was rainstorm. I had to back washed and rinsed the pool. Afterwards there was about 25 lb of sand in the bottom of my pool. I contacted Rose at Russo pool. Rose advised me that a technician would be calling me to discuss what may have happened. To date, I still have not received a call back, from a technician explaining to me what happened. Russo lacks professionalism, credibility and reliability. Therefore, I can no longer trust Russo pool to stand by their word, and will not be doing any business with such a company that lacks INTEGRITY in business

Chris Porter rated it 5/5: Have gone to this store for years for pool supplies for my former employer and personally for a small pool. These folks are knowledgeable and helpful no matter if you purchase products or not which is so nice. Today when I went to pick up supplies for my pool and parked in the loading zone I put on my hazards and went in for 10 minutes to get supplies. When I cam out, my car which is only 5 years old, had a dead battery. Bad luck. When I went in to tell the folks I had to leave my car for an hour after a number of calls for road side assistance, Larry offered to jump start my car. Who does this anymore? How these folks treat there customer, big and small, shows in this kind act. Thanks Larry, and thanks Halogen for helping me understand my pool issues today and buy the right products.

Not only were their prices $37 dollars higher but also the customer service was AWFUL.. When I went into Leslie's all I was looking for was to purchase granular chlorine. I was then scolded by Martin and told that the way we have been taking care of our pool (which mind you has never NOT been crystal clear) for over 30 years was wrong. He said "just because your dad did it that way doesn't mean its right" "stick to your old … and wrong ways" etc. While I was in the middle of my transaction a younger worker had something important that he had just been told, to say to Martin who then rudely scolded him in front of me (something management should NEVER do). I will never be back at this location, they do not treat their customers or their own employees with any respect.

Walked the whole store looking for a pool cover, ladder and pool treatment. Since the two didn't address us the whole time I decided to walk out and head to American Sale, not trying to give my business to a place like that. Prices were higher there anyway, I wouldn't recommend
Mar-Ten River-a rated it 1/5: The manager mark is extremely unprofessional who judges before he gets a chance to listen, I had a question about my heater, he assumed it was leaking, it was not and he started ranting about how warranty will not cover leaking heaters when that is not my issue. Avoid him

There was a girl that had no idea what she was doing and couldn't help me.
The older lady that was working there too was rude and didn't want to open her mouth to help.

I contacted Just In Time and from the beginning, the service Cassie gave me was great. Even with the beginning of hot tub busy season and supply chain shortages, our hot tub was fixed very quickly. It wasn't cheap, but I do feel the price was fair for what we got. Once it was fixed and we filled the tub, we realized there was an issue with one of the jets. I was informed this was a common issue and the next morning a tech was out to fix it. Our hot tub has not worked this well and been this nice since we first got it 4 years ago. We will certainly be using Just in Time again.

I call today only to be told that no appointment was made last year when they closed the pool. I told the lady that I spoke to them last September and she said well there are no notes. Maybe I just imagined the conversation last year. If you need dependability, please don’t look here. I’m only days away from our sons pool party….. with no open pool. This really stinks for us..

The quote was expensive, replacing lots of parts, but I figured I had to do it to get the spa working. THANK GOODNESS I GOT A SECOND OPINION. The next day another company came out so o could compare prices. They tested it and said everything was working fine. The error cleared and it has worked perfectly ever since. I came incredibly close to spending thousands on totally unnecessary repairs based on Thai companies estimate. I don’t know how they can be so wrong honestly.

Said would come back to finish opening, vacuuming the dirt from winter in a few days, but never came, even after 3 texts and no response from him. Because of that, the filters on our pool were so filthy that the pool turned cloudy and we needed to spend hundreds for chemicals to make it clear again .And also clean our filters, something we never had to do before with our other pool company. I would advise you to NOT pay in full like we did , thus he had no reason to finish the job correctly.

Cruz answered my calls/texts in a timely manner which was very appreciated. I have an above ground pool with a sand filter. My pool was very dirty. Green carpet of rotten debri and algea. They got my pool ready to swim in 2 days. The team I met were great. Friendly, patient, and gave me advice. I think these guys went above and beyond. This is the first company I've had who was on time, fair priced, and did the job right. They know what they're doing. They will be helping me with maintaining the pool. Haven't had the first upkeep yet, but I am looking forward to their service. I would recommend Happy Pools and Spa.

paul tyska rated it 1/5: Cruz. Nice guy. Did not do what he said he was going to do in regards to fixing my pool deck. Paid $$$. And most of it flacked off. He came back this year and said he would put on another coat. Not a chance he did. Total rip off. Would not use

He came back rude and angry and pretending he didnt "repair" anything. Complete waist of money. He then intentionally broke it more to make it look like an rodent did it -trying to convince me that insurance would cover it but they didn't. Complete waist of money on him and thousands on a pool we no longer had. Hiring him was the worse choice I could have made.
It has taken me a bit to write this review but I get upset every time I see a pool or pay the monthly finance bill for a pool I don't even have. No so happy pool

They are always very knowledgeable, warm and great with email. Most recently we used them for a much bigger project to resurface and re-tile our pool. Even though we were late in putting in our request and it's a crazy time with supply chains, they still managed to order all our materials and squeeze us in this spring before the summer season. The communication was great from the initial quote process to the last step. They had multiple crews to demo, tile, resurface and they worked seamlessly letting us know which days they'd be there to get it all done. Any questions we had along the process were always answered right away. And the finished pool looks so much better! Would highly recommend!!
Stani Dobrikov rated it 1/5: My plaster didn't last 3 years. After so many phone calls to Nick (the owner) they didn't care. Hired Barrington Pools to re-do the mess they did. Don't waste your money! There were 2 guys trying to mix the plaster in buckets and they couldn't even do the color right. My plaster started cracking 2 years ago and Sunset did not even care to come and checkout the problem. We were not even able to use it for the past 2 years as it was loosing too much water from all the cracks. After posting the review I got their attention with "improper maintenance" excuse and just for the record this is not the first pool we have! See the photo attached to see how bad work they did!
Alex Theo rated it 1/5: I'd like to begin by saying if I could give 0 stars, I would have. We were remodeling our house, which involved installing a brand new pool in our back yard. After going back and forth with the village, then the army corp of engineers, then covid, we were finally ready for installation after a few years of delays. Once our property was ready for install, Nick, the owner, decided to increase his quoted price 40% due to an "increase to the cost of materials", which is not stated anywhere on the contract. He is refusing to return our deposit, and is basically telling us to take him to court, in the hopes that we will just let this matter go. I warn anyone who is considering to hire this company for anything to be careful, and be ready to hire an attorney.

I got a response right away and decided to go with their service. Once my appointment day came, the guys were super professional, helpful and did an amazing job closing my pool. I rely on my spa due to I have a injured back and that assists me in allowing to live. I called the guys at SP tech pools and spas they came out diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in a week after the parts came in. I called 5 places and only Sp came out with urgency. You can’t go wrong they are great.

He has chemicals for your pool and will deliver to your house which I also love , dont want to put anything in the back of my sedan, had an accident once before .

I had another company try to repair our pool for over 2 years with no luck. After they failed several times in the repair, they subbed the job out to AquaBlue. They had my pool up and running as soon as the repairs were made and our pool looked brand new! This crew is second to none in the industry. I can say that with confidence. Thanks to them we have a pool we can finally use again! Highly recommended!
