They are horrible, we hired them to maintain chemical in our salt water pool which between them not being able to do that and leaving chemical on our pool deck (I have pets and a young one) has been an on going battle. I have a different guy every month who doesn't seem to know what they are doing. I watched as the pool tech just walked around the side of my house and took a picture of my pool, didn't even test my water, and drove off. My wife's bathing suits are all bleached out, my sons eyes burn every time we go swimming, and its been that way for the entire summer. When we started the pool service it was good, they had it balanced and the water was soft but has declined rapidly ever since. Customer service was super nice but all lip service as no one would follow through in the field. When I complained that told me to send them video or they couldn't do anything. I cancelled service got a new company that got the levels in my pool correct in 2 visits on the same day as they needed to drain water to balance the chemicals.

Good luck getting through to anyone if you need help!!! I waited on the phone got over 3 hours. Then decided to choose button for new customers wanting to sign up. They picked up the phone within a minute !!!! I was told that new people wanting service get answered first in the call line !! Then when I sea is I was canceling and wanted equipment removed. They could not tell me when but promised we would get a call the day before. That never happened!! So here’s the deal you cannot rely on them if you have a problem because you can’t get through !!!! Think twice before signing up !!!

In an insane downpour of rain today, he installed the salt cell right under my nose and then texted me that it was all done. When I asked him why he did that and told him that he could have waited, his response was “ I had to. I gave you my word”. THESE are the kind of people and businesses you should be giving your money to. It’s so hard to find that kind of integrity and decency in a company these days.

They were supposed to quote a replacement system as part of their initial pool cleaning which the owner never came out and completed after multiple attempts at contacting and reminding them. They regularly left the pool debris in the yard for us to clean up when they pass right by yard waste bins on their way in and had been reminded a multitude of times to use them. They have left the side gate open on a number of occasions, which can be a problem when you have dogs or children. Final straw was that they had opened up the breaker box next to the pool pump and shut off a breaker that controlled, amongst other things, a mini fridge and the entire contents were spoiled. When asked, Gigi the receptionist, said we would have to show "proof" and was argumentative when we called for discussion and resolution. Gigi was rude and aggressive and was quicker to let a long time customer walk rather than come to an agreeable solution so we will be taking our business elsewhere.

One was fixing my pool, another helping me catch a spider and how to keep my newborn safe around the pool! My fiancée and I recently purchased a home with a pool that had been neglected and unfortunately became a swamp. I searched for local companies and Viking came up highly rated. After reviewing several companies, I gave Mark a call. He came out to my property the next day and assessed my pool and all of my pool equipment. We wanted to do a saltwater pool, but with additional expenses we had incurred from the house, we could not. Mark worked with us and provided us several alternatives for getting our pool up and running. Once we finalized everything, he and his team were out at our place working diligently. The pool looked amazing after they were finished. Mark also returned after our initial cleaning service because we were not home and could not monitor the pool filling, so he kindly left a fill timer on our hose.
Aside from doing a great job, Mark really cares about his customers. He is readily available when you need him and takes care of you as soon as possible. He understands what taking care of a customer means and goes beyond what I expect from my service. He is knowledgeable and provides honest guidance, all for a fair price. As a small business owner myself, I'm acutely aware of how other people conduct their business and as a customer, I rarely get to experience the kind of service Viking Pool provides. They are proactive on issues that arise and are responsive to everything else that can happen with your pool. Called them with a green pool and a pump issue that was causing it… In two days my pool was sparkling and they have kept it that way every day since. I would use their service before any large company out there. They are wayyyy better!

We converted our pool to a salt water system and replaced the pump and filter assemblies after the pool was left in bad condition by the previous homeowners. Sonny and his team were punctual, communicative, and not sales-y. I'd highly recommend!

We have a commercial 2-lane lap pool at our home, a salt pool 60' x 15'. So it's a big job. With OTHER services, pumps were too loud, even when replaced; the water was rarely crystal clear; mustard algae was a frequent occurrance; and black algae slowly built up over the years, never addressed. Mike of Echo Pool Services changed all that. The Jandy variable speed pump that he expertly installed is a dream – so quiet that we have to feel the jets to know whether it is on. While we were away for 2 weeks, his staff scrubbed away the black algae, and for the three months that we have been under his care, the pool has been crystal clear. We have never enjoyed it this much. I can text Mike any time on his cell phone and always get a quick response. Echo Pool Services deserves every point on every star of this highest of ratings.

Emily E rated it 5/5: Mike inspected our pool before purchasing our home 6 months ago and just recently installed a new filter and salt system this past week. We have an Airbnb on our property and needed the broken filter fixed ASAP and Mike was able to accommodate our time crunch. Mike is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to us, which we really appreciate being new pool owners!!

I was concerned we would have to replace our pool pump but Mike came by the next day after I called and quickly fixed a minor air leak and got us back up and running. He also educated us on how our current configuration is prone to air leaks and what changes we can make long term to prevent the issue from reoccurring.
