The residents in the community have complimented the lifeguard staff for being very friendly and helpful. The residents were very happy that the lifeguards provided swimming lessons this year and stated that the instructors were patient and very encouraging with the children who were just learning to swim. One mother told me that her son was scared to go into the water in the first class and in just a couple of weeks, she was so proud that he was able to swim across the pool.

From my experience, I cannot give a higher praise for Millennium Pool and for Kirk who is my hero.

In late summer 2019, after checking into six pool services, I contracted Millennium Pool to renovate my in-ground. Millennium provided a detailed proposal with itemized tasks/costs of repairs definitely needed and some potentially needed. The language was clear and the costs were the most competitive.

The project was completed with resounding success while the process surprisingly smooth. Fast forward to 2022, when I contacted Millennium about the problem with the pool plaster stained with dark streaks on the wall and the bottom of the floor. Kirk, GM at Millennium immediately stepped in to help. Leveraging his deep knowledge in pool plaster and exercising flexibility with his resources, he personally stayed with it and made tremendous efforts to ensure that an agreeable and successful resolution was found and followed through in a timely manner. On the eve of my baby grandson’s visit,
Kirk made it possible for this grandma to take his first swim in our back yard’s pool with sparkling clear blue water.

However, its HR is really a joke. They sent out job application online with a non-secure server. This is in violation of confidentiality its employees personal information.

Had a luck to work with them for several seasons.First couple were in Arlington/DC but the lastest one was in Baltimore.
All Sunset pools employees are big professionals,starting with CEO,office,regional managers to supervisors.
The thing is you do really serious job,but they always help you that much that everything becomes much easier.
I had/still do feeling am surrounded with family who supports all my moves and decisions.
And yes,now the most important-MONEY-always on time,big wages,really fair to all employees.Thats why Sunset always attract so many lifeguards to work with them.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this company for your next job!

A friend of mine declined her offer, because the housing terms were just outrageous. $600USD per month to use an inflatable mattress and 3 people per room? are you serious!!!!! on the other side, be prepared to work under the sun all day long, they do not pay overtime, because they are exempt for it, so be prepared to work 12 hours per day without making the overtime after 2 weeks…these people should NOT be hiring J1's or H2B's, apparently they do not even know the law or they believe they are too "smart" to fool these poor people… this company deserves to be closed.
Hemn rated it 1/5: Terrible place with a disrespectful manager. I was desperate for a job when I move to the DMV area. He “hired” me. I worked for 2 days. Then he told me I should work at a different pool where I couldn’t commute because I didn’t have a car. He knew it but tried to push me because he knew I was looking for an apartment and coincidently his apartments were located close to the pool he wanted to relocate me to. And he was asking for $1200 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment I had to share with 3 other guys (i.e. a total of $4800). And when I refused to do so, he refused to pay me and instead charged me $100!

Jon Kotecki rated it 5/5: After renovating our entire pool in 2014 I have endured over 9 different pool companies in the NoVA area. Out of all of those companies I have used, MS Pool has been far and wide the best service I have found in the area. I opted for the open/close package. They opened my pool this year and were able to work me into the schedule at a reasonable time. Being a new customer, many others I have reached out to couldn't get me on the schedule until mid June (that doesn't do me any good). They communicated well up until the schedule date (others left me in the dark), showed up on time and their support staff was friendly and helpful, willing to answer any questions I had. After they completed the service, I received a full report with pics of my set up and grading on how everything looked and aged over the past 7 years. Very thorough.
I was also having some issues with my main pump. Yani was extremely helpful over the phone attempting to troubleshoot my issues before we embarked down the road of a technician coming out. Once we decided on a course of action Momchil showed up with a replacement motor and 2 brand new pumps (2.6 and 3 HP). After a review, it was deemed that the cheapest option was the best option, just replace the existing motor. The technician also took the time to check the pool chemistry (again, shortly after opening) and assisted with suggestion on how to fix the imbalance.

MS Pools was friendly (unlike all the other companies I worked with) helpful, (again, not like any other company I worked with) and went above and beyond what you would expect a company to do these days.

They showed up when they said they would and sent us pictures with a narrative that exactly described what they did from a service perspective with each visit. Their service is impeccable (as evidenced by the 100% 5 star reviews)! Keep up the good work! As a consumer, I value this level of customer service knowing we will be taken care of in the future.
Jackie S rated it 5/5: I highly recommend MS Home Pool Services. They provide exceptional customer service and are very knowledgeable about pools. On 18 July I discussed what work I needed done with Nicole whom was super friendly and intelligent about pools. I then sent pictures of my pool equipment layout and she quickly got with the Service Department and provided an estimate to get the work done.
On 20 July Momchil repaired my filter pump that was leaking by replacing the gasket and really tightening up the metal band. I was very impressive that he appeared at my home so quickly and was determined to ensure there were no water drops at all. On 5 August Pavel replaced 2 actuators and 3 o-ring sets for my three 3-way valves. The actuators were special ordered but still arrived so quickly and Pavel was not aware I needed the o-rings but had them on his truck and took care of what needed to be done. Prior to leaving my home he ensured everything was operational. Both Momchil and Pavel were very friendly when speaking with me and smart.

After each visit you receive a Service Form to Work Order electronically which includes the work done and pictures (how cool is that). You will then receive an invoice and payment receipt electronically. From start to finish outstanding work. They come prepared. This company is well run. I will definitely use them for the important stuff.

We just had a new liner replaced along with a new sand filter and some other small items done by them. Greg was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with along with being super responsive. Had the quote fast and the price was very fair. The crew was also exceptional. Very nice and did a great job. We had a new liner placed, had new vermiculite installed on the pool floor, pressure test, and lights replaced. Greg and his team were super knowledgeable and they never pushed us to go the most expensive route. We are very happy with the results. This fall, we bought a new pool cover and they are closing the pool. We plan on installing a heater in the spring and will definitely be using this company. Very happy with the entire experience, from making the appt, to quotes, to installations, ect. Great pool company!

To be fair, we didn't ask if there would be a charge for the parts but he also didn't say we would be charged. We are first time pool owners and didn't know anything about the process. We had no idea we needed a winter floater, winterization plug, extended winterizing plug or Blue Gizzmo. Again, the ad stated "Complete Winterization". My husband called and questioned our invoice total of $490.70 and was told it clearly states on the website "Additional charge for chemicals and parts"; his attitude was sorry, not sorry. Guess who we won't be using next year to winterize?

The managers & a few other emoyees who were there during the time between 5/2021 and 10/2021 can attest to the events which occured following the day I broke my ankle on the job. I was properly taken care of financially through the insurance company they use which is Erie. They paid me on time and fairly. But on the day that I broke my ankle, the staff that was in charge of orchestrating the proper procedure of if/when an employee is hurt on the job moved with the slightest urgency. It took them an hour and a half to figure out who's going to take me to the hospital to be treated. I was in so much pain and apparently they could'nt have cared less by how long they took to get me help. I forget the young lady name, I'm so sorry for that but she was an angel. She took it upon herself to take me to the hospital and made sure that I had a ride back and she had no obligation. In spite of her having children to pick up and a man at home. She was such a blessing. The managers at the time who were there was trying to get out of what they were obligated to do and that was to do what the young lady did for me. That was there job. So I would never work for that pool service company ever again. Also, I would recommend anyone who interested in working for them to find another employer. My opinion is they don't truly care for there workers welfare.
Tricia Distifeno & Family rated it 2/5: We received a mailer advertising Complete Winterization for $370 (says the same on our invoice) however, we were charged an additional $60.55 for chemicals as well as an additional $60.15 for parts the technician offered as if they were free. To be fair, we didn't ask if there would be a charge for the parts but he also didn't say we would be charged. We are first time pool owners and didn't know anything about the process. We had no idea we needed a winter floater, winterization plug, extended winterizing plug or Blue Gizzmo. Again, the ad stated "Complete Winterization". My husband called and questioned our invoice total of $490.70 and was told it clearly states on the website "Additional charge for chemicals and parts"; his attitude was sorry, not sorry. Guess who we won't be using next year to winterize?

I was walking early in the morning to grab a coffee before work when I walked by this business. Seeing a group of older men gearing up their trucks to start work for the day, I knew I would probably get catcalled. Unfortunately it is common. I smiled anyways to not seem rude when one (with a shirt on with this business’ name) said “good morning” – I responded back the same to be polite, then looked down so I could move on and continue my walk. This could have ended here and been just fine. Uncomfortable, but fine. He continued to harass me as I passed by, making me extremely uncomfortable, even when I did not acknowledge him. He just. Kept. Going. I don’t know whether he thought I couldn’t hear him because I had headphones in or what, but he would not stop talking about my appearance. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, ESPECIALLY at a business that goes to people’s HOUSES that have young women either as the owner or as a child. I honestly felt bad making this review but, the more that I thought of it, not doing this just because I “felt bad” just reinforces this kind of behavior. I shouldn’t feel unsafe and have to walk an extra quarter mile home to go the other way back in order to avoid this man.

Like I said, this review is not based on the quality of this business’ work, rather the caution you should take and the harassment management should address/future customers should be aware of. Does this worker not have a wife? A daughter? A mother? How would he feel if he found out a man twice their age was looking at them and making them feel uncomfortable when they’re just on a walk to get their coffee?

They were very responsive, I called in the afternoon, and they schedule a visit to asset the issue for the next morning. The owner came to see the pool and quickly determined the cause, gave me the opportunity to buy the parts online or use their services, after a quick assessment I decided to use their services. They came in that same day in the afternoon and performed the service. The technician did not realize that he installed the cover of our filter facing the wrong way, I emailed the company Friday after close. 8:30 AM Monday a crew was over, they adjust the filter, checked my water, cleaned my pool and left me smiling. The owner was also quick in emailing me. I highly recommend this company, they truly care about service, they are reasonably priced and very responsive.

I called initially due to my leaking pool pump. They were out within two days! The team even worked late so I wouldn’t have to wait another day. I also had a pretty bad algae issue. Pooltek had a team at my house handling it everyday for a week straight to get my water beautiful.

The techs in the field were all so kind & took the time to explain things to me. I appreciated this the most.

Based on this excellent first impression, they are now my go to pool company.

Nemanja is the owner or DC PRO Pool Service. I recently installed an Endless Pool and could not get the water clear.

I called several people who said they could not service DC. I called Nemanja and he came to my row house and made my pool water crystal clear.

He is friendly, experienced and taught me about maintaining the pool.

I highly recommend this company and look forward to seeing Nemanja again this summer.

I was in a bad spot in mid- August when my filter pump went out and my then pool service company of which I had been a cutomer for 23 years said they could not get out for two weeks. Reluctantly, I agreed to wait but asked if when they came to make sure they had the appropriate pump on their truck. They assured me they would. On Friday the day of the service call they came determined it was in fact the pump and told me it would be another four days at the earliest before they could return and fix the problem.

At this point I started calling around to find someone who could come out. Thank God I found Twin Pool & Spa they got the pump and came out on Sunday and fixed my pool. Subsequently I have swiched my pool services to Twin Pool & Spa. My closing in October was the smoothest least intrusive closing I have been through in 23 years.

I cannot say enough about Twin Pool & Spa. The twins Derrick & Brent (yes, they really are twins) visited my home, saw my pool and said "let us handle this please." The rest is history! Our pool is now in good hands hopefully for a very long time. This is a family-owned and run business. When you call, ask for Martha (that's the mom) who is awesome too. I highly recommend Twin Pool & Spa!!
