  • Sara Sheibley rated it 5/5: We've had them out many times to do repairs but recently we had the faucet replaced (because the builder put it too close to the wall for us to do it). Excellent job. Great communication. Showed up when they said.
The water heater they got us in for an estimate the next day then for the replacement the following day. The communication from everyone was clear and concise. The estimate and our options given as well as what was recommended.
They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and double checked everything before they left.
Always happy and I really like Derrick. He's super nice, a great tech!
  • michele wells rated it 5/5: Repair costs are a little bit on the higher side, however the amount was worth the piece of mind that a good job was done. Joe Allen replaced our dripping faucet and some piping, etc. The way the vanity was built made it very difficult to replace anything and the pipes not in code. Honestly, this was a project we could not do ourselves. The old faucet was also an issue in itself trying to remove it.

Joe Allen was just wonderful to deal with. He was not only professional but just a nice person. I felt very comfortable with him in my house. Also, he arrived when expected (even early – dispatch did ask if that was okay), the first time he arrived. When it was recommended a get a new faucet to fix the issue, as well as replace pipes under the sink which where not in code, I was able to choose the faucet of my liking and was given a choice of different costs up front for the entire project. The new faucet needed to be ordered and thought it would take at least a week, however I got a call within 2 days stating it was in. I made a new appointment for it to be installed, and dispatch kept me informed when Joe would arrive.

The entire experience was top notch and I would use Len the Plumber again. If. you do decide to use their service, I would recommend you ask for Joe. I will be using him again for sure.

Lastly, if you decide not to use their service you have to pay the 49.00 gas fee. Honestly, I know some people found this unfair, but honestly I don't blame them.

  • mariah duffy rated it 5/5: Everyone we spoke with while retaining their services was really helpful and responsive. The plumber they sent out, Dylan E., was just terrific! He was knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything to us clearly, and he had such a positive attitude. It was infectious. His 10+ years of plumbing experience were clear as he worked quickly and neatly. If you need any plumbing done I highly recommend this company, and if Dylan is available you will be lucky and thankful to have him as your plumber!
  • Kiana Lawyer rated it 5/5: I had a great experience with Mr. Michael. He removed an old garbage disposal, put in a new drain, then installed a new disposal on the other side of the double sink as i desired. He was professional, courteous, clean, timely, knowledgeable, and just good company. As a 4th generation plumber, he was a wealth of knowledge and offered to save me time and money by doing the pre-work for a new dishwasher I plan to install in a few weeks. Im glad to know my plumbing is now up to code. He plans to retire in a few years and he deserves it but it makes me sad because they just don't make them like Mr. Michael anymore.

Looking for a reliable plumbing and water cleanup company in Baltimore? Look no further than Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup! We are proud to offer our customers the best possible service at the most affordable prices. Trust us for all your plumbing and water cleanup needs – we'll get the job done right the first time!

Barry Greengart rated it 2/5: The technician was fine, courteous and efficient. No problem with his service. Took him a maximum of 45 minutes of his labor to snake out the clogged drain using his machine. No parts replaced. He also put a mesh over the storm drain. However I thought the price was outrageously high (over $700. for a 45 minute service call). I don't know your pricing structure or the going rate for this service. But I will surely do price comparisons with different companies before I call again.

  • Caitlyn Greenburg rated it 5/5: Kenny was beyond amazing. He was quick to assess after checking all of the options for clean out drains. He recognized that it was bigger than just a back up and arranged for sewage cleanup after he cleared the drain. He was professional, efficient, and patient and communicative when speaking with my landlord. I would call this company if I can have Kenny’s help every single time. Great work!

Also, the fact that I called and was able to get someone out to my place in less than two hours was incredible. The last time I used them, the technician reached out two hours before my appointment window. Super quick and efficient!

  • david & holly garrison rated it 5/5: Zach was very friendly and professional. He was up front with the cost and made an honest assessment of our initial issue (a wet spot in front of the bathroom – was not a leak – someone spilled water there – me!) which did not need the attention that we thought. He cleaned out our drains (our other issue) carefully and well, making sure he had a well-working tool. He actually had to buy another snaking machine, came back the next day with it and was done in 15 minutes. I really appreciated his candor. He was a very nice and knowledgeable young man! Thanks Zach!
  • Peter Mofrad rated it 5/5: We had an issue with our water heater. Had one company come out first, and they quoted us and exuberant price so we decided to call Roto Rooter as a second opinion. Not only did they show up less than 2 hrs of the initial call, but they fixed the problem within an hour, and saved us a lot of money. Our tech was Min and he was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. So thankful that we made the call and had such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be using them in the future!
  • Max Castillo rated it 3/5: We called a plumber to identify the source of a leak happening in the basement. We were given a window of 8am to 12pm for a plumber to arrive at my house, but they did not arrive until about 2:30pm. Upon arrival, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring on the toilet where we suspected the leak without looking first. We had just had it replaced and knew it wasn't the source and told him as such. Despite this, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring anyway at a cost of $375 to rule it out. Of course, that didn't resolve the leak.

The plumber then said he'd have to cut into the wall in the first floor powder room to examine the pipe for potential cracks, which is what we expected from the beginning. While cutting our drywall, he cut too deep and actually cut through the wall into our kitchen behind our kitchen cabinets. We knew he did this because 1) he came out and looked at our kitchen in the middle of his work; 2) there was dust all over our counter top; and 3) there was a wire dangling between the cabinets that was not there before. When we confronted him about this, he denied it entirely, saying the cut was already there and it wasn't his fault. His refusal to accept his mistake was more annoying than the mistake itself. He ultimately did identify a crack in the old iron pipe and replaced the pipe with PVC. We were charged $1,325 for the pipe replacement, which was okay, we just wish we weren't charged the original $375 on top of that for the O-ring. Total cost was $1,700, which doesn't include fixing the massive holes in our drywall.

Took him a maximum of 45 minutes of his labor to snake out the clogged drain using his machine. No parts replaced. He also put a mesh over the storm drain. So glad that I did. Not only did they come out the same day and fix my water pipe which was leaking right at the main line coming into the house. • Katie Fuller rated it 5/5: These guys saved us! ❤️ I'm so grateful to Mahon plumbing inc. for coming to our rescue after our main plumbing line blocked thanks to a broken pipe that left us with no water. They were able to come and fix it immediately and this was a HUGE job. Arrived by 8am with a large crew and had the yard dug up and fixed within hours. Not only do they do a great job but also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company with all your plumbing needs.
  • Yvette R rated it 5/5: I'm a tad late writing this, but I wanted to share the very positive experience I had with this company. It was back during the 4th of July weekend and we had visitors staying in our guess space in the basement. Unfortunately, during their visit, the toilet clogged which also back clogged the tub, so they couldn't use the bathroom, and it was at night. We called around for 24/7 service and thankfully found Mahon. They were nice, understanding and I have to say now, worth the price considering everything they had to do and what others wanted to charge. They came out the first night and had to unclog the main pipe and it was working, but by the morning, it was backed up again. We had to call again in the morning, on the actual holiday, I felt so bad, but we had to. But, they made no excuses, and came back out within about an hour from the time I called, even though there really wasn't a warranty. The guy came out with reinforcement and a much larger snake and the rest is history. We have had no issues since the 4th of July. Thumbs up to Mahon Plumbing and Jacob, the plumber who came out. Thank you!!
  • Brian Delphus rated it 5/5: Mahon was extremely responsive when I called about a problem with the pump on my laundry tub. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable.

  • Tracy Mcateer rated it 5/5: Even though it was a very cold day with numerous pipe bursts and no one to complete my job, the boss came out and fixed my problem. He was just as competent as the Mahon plumbers that have come out for services in the past. Pretty impressive!

Both employees I spoke with were very friendly and professional from start to finish. I've used this company several times over the years – always with great results and reasonable rates.

  • David Starcher rated it 5/5: As unpleasant as it is to have to deal with septic problems, Fogle's was a pleasure to deal with and I am very satisfied with every part of the transaction. They came out the next day when I had a problem and took care of things temporarily until we could do a full line replacement. The employees did a great job and were professional the entire time. Watching the backhoe operator work was truly impressive- he's THAT good. They even helped my wife relocate some landscaping plants that would otherwise be destroyed. That was above and beyond the expectation. The price was very competitive, and they even credited me for the temporary service off of the total bill without me requesting it. Top notch all the way. I'm glad I chose Fogle's.

  • Richard Bond rated it 5/5: We had a water test done and had a small amount of bacteria in our water, called Fogels and they responded the very next day to run the chlorination process. The Water Specialist was on time, clean, professional and polite. He Wore a mask and took his shoes off when entering our home, explained the entire process and left us feeling very confident that we chose the right company for the job. They also repaired the conduit and well cap that allowed the bacteria to access the well and the total was under 300.00! We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!
  • Matt Davis rated it 5/5: We've used Fogles for septic tank maintenance since we bought our home. They are fast, reliable, and most importantly, honest. They send us reminders of service and show up when expected. They staff their phone lines and will always quote when you should get service. Can't ask for more.
  • gernot ritzau rated it 3/5: We were very pleased with this company in the beginning, they did everything they said they would do and helped with the process, the installation of the septic system all went smoothly for the most part. Their service department came out as planned, including follow up.
But, here comes the big but! The part we were very frustrated with, was the site work, excavation and grading, the work was finished so poorly, even after a second attempt to fix it, that we had to hire another contractor to come behind them just to get the water to run off the property, the sand mound shouldn't have any sitting water around it, as it sort of defeats the purpose of that very installation! We literally had a pond build up in front of it, they came back and filled a little dirt, same issue…just left more rocks and tire tracks.
I understand that it's rough work, but I am talking boulders, not rocks…. This was not expected from a company that has such high standards and than argue about it, they made the mess in the first place, it was a turn key project!
We are very disappointed with the final outcome on the finished yard, I am sure the infrastructure is great?
But as a consumer I have to assume they know what they are doing, the way its covered up is what I see and what was left is not what I call a finished project… If I can only make one recommendation, hire them for the well and septic, but hire an excavation contractor for the rest and sub it out to two different contractors.
The project cost was estimated at 40k, not a small project, that's more than any septic system should ever cost, no matter how bad it gets.
We never argued about the price and they got paid in full, I expect everything to be done per the blue prints, there were no unforseen challenges, we knew about the trees from day one and all they did, is push it to the side, never removed it, however.
