hilleri groves rated it 5/5: David Gray Plumbing was excellent. I was very frustrated with the work I had already paid for, so it was a breath of fresh air when Frank came to my home, and on time. He was very knowledgeable and found the solution immediately. He examined each bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room to ensure there were no other issues, and gave me a thorough debrief of what he did, as well as pictures identifying parts of my septic system I couldn’t find/didn’t know were even present. He was gentle with my pipes, and I will definitely call David Gray again for all my plumbing needs.

  • D H rated it 5/5: Had plumbing technicians Adam Bryan and Eric out to replace a hot water heater today. We realized the issue this morning, called this morning and they were here by the afternoon. Arrived during a thunder and lightening storm, worked through a power outage from the storm, had to go to their warehouse for an item and come back during the storm, all to make our replacement happen today. I cannot thank these two professionals enough! They explained our issues, and asked about any other plumbing issues we may be having while they were here. Adam explained all our options and pricing in detail, (no pressure sales either, just my options for me to decide) and what they would be doing. County codes had changed since our initial installation, so the new codes were explained and the reason for them as well. This really gave me a sense of trust from the start that we had chosen the right company today for the job. At job completion, they explained how to properly care for, and extend the life of our new water heater, and went over the yearly draining instructions again, this time so I could videotape them for future. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the work done, and I really feel like they went the extra mile with valve replacements and insulating our pipes for us (that had not been done on our previous water heater). If you need a last minute plumber, highly recommend David Gray Plumbing, and if you are fortunate enough to get Adam and Eric, relax, you are in great hands!
  • Laura Killebrew rated it 5/5: So glad I called David Gray Plumbing! They helped me before with a plumbing issue and did a wonderful job so was sure to call them again for this work. Needed a couple of faucets updated on a double sink vanity and the plumbing underneath needed to be redone as was quite old and leaking some. Adam and the gentleman helping him Eric did a super great job. They were able to come out right away and did the work so efficiently and with great quality. Left no mess, and the new faucets totally transformed the vanity and the bathroom. Highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.
  • Brad Cowen rated it 5/5: Sarah in the office was very courteous and professional. They were able to get me an appointment for the next day. I received an email and text 30 minutes before they came out as promised and there was even a picture of Ken included to know who to expect. They came towards the earlier part of the time window which was good because the leak was bad. Ken was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The other tech Tim was nice as well. The install looks great.

I called several plumbing services to compare rates and service dates as I needed this job completed within a couple weeks. I am happy to say Duck Duck Rooter was amazing!! I spoke with a Lia in the office, and she was able to schedule the job for me in time frame I needed and at a fair price. Have to say, it wasn't the cheapest price, but the service and professionalism of the employees was definitely worth the extra dollars. Thank you Duck Duck Rooter Team! From the moment I called Duck Duck Rooter to the time that my hot water heater was installed was less than 6 hours. The technician was responsive and on time. Thanks Duck Duck Rooter for your quick response time and competitive pricing. I will be recommending you to all my friends and family members.

Most relevant reviews:

  • Roy Batterman rated it 5/5: Whole house being re-plumbed. Cast iron is shot and leaking under the house, old PVC is pieced together and sometimes not sloped properly, issues with shower, tub, sinks. Yep, it’s a mess.

Then Harry came. Solid, thorough and honest evaluation. Now Jacob has begun work. Not finished yet, 3 days down and at least a week to go, but Jacob is polite, neat, has already proven himself trustworthy, punctual, an excellent communicator, and very knowledgeable about all the issues we face with this home built in 1957 and what to do about them. I’m very assured that we are in good hands. 🙂

  • Marian Gaines rated it 5/5: This is the best customer service I have received in years! I was a little skeptical because there was a dispatch fee of $125, but it was well worth it. Justin was on time, we got a text he was on his way and a phone call to my realtor who referred me. Justin was able to detect the issue with the supply line then found a leaking faucet outside. The association pays for the water so this will save them money! What a fantastic job and was all done timely too. Amazing. Justin is a gem!! Thank you Justin.
  • Chris Hurst rated it 5/5: Prompt service, able to fix the issue the same day as the initial call. Service dispatch fee was a bit higher than expected but would use again due to their professionalism and ability to identify & quickly resolve the drainage clog leading to my septic system. Service techs were friendly & respectful and provided clear insights into possible root causes and how to avoid in the future. Would recommend to a friend.
  • Jill Hopfe rated it 5/5: Justin was extremely professional. He repaired our water heater and replaced 2 water shutoff valves. We have found Harry Hayes Plumbing to be extremely reasonable in price, always professional and a great value!
  • Kelly Way rated it 1/5: Half of one star. Sara in the office is very nice, cordial and a pleasure to deal with. After quoting a job for us and informing us that they would NOT be signing a contract with us they asked for 50% down-payment up front for services not yet rendered. Had we agreed to these outlandish terms we would have had no legal recourse in the event of failure to perform on their part. Simply saying that they are not interested in the job would have been quite a bit more professionally appropriate.

  • Makenzie Few rated it 5/5: Our plumbers recommended metro rooters emergency services to resolve a stoppage at our facility. After 2 technicians came out to fix it the first two times, the problem was still recurring days later. Working at a healthcare facility, we were having several issues without easily accessible running water or toilets for 24hrs. After speaking with the dispatcher, again, and slightly upset this time- she escalated the issue to the plumbing supervisor. The dispatchers- Stephanie, Sandy, and Kelly were great- although they were probably tired of hearing from me! Attentive and proactive with resolving my issues and handling my frustrations with the field techs. After Kelly escalated our situation, Tony, the supervisor, came out. He spent 7 hours to resolve our issue and provided clear, easily understandable, explanations as to what caused the issue and how he was able to fix it.
Hopefully we won’t be needing them again, but if we do- I know they will do whatever they need to get it done!!
    Thank you all!

  • jeanine avant rated it 5/5: Junior and Patrick installed two pumps, floats and associated communication wire for a lift station in our home owner's association. They were very professional and worked diligently until the work was completed. Very happy with their knowledge, communication and customer service. Strongly recommend.
  • Erica Law rated it 5/5: Darrell with Metro-Rooter did an amazing job! My septic alarm went off the day after Christmas, and I had no idea what was going on. Darrell came out to pump out the system and see if there was an issue. He was quick and efficient and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be using Metro-Rooter again!
  • Johneisha Clark rated it 5/5: When I say I cannot rave enough about the two individuals at Metro Rooter who assisted me with my sump pump repair. From the beginning Mr. Rousseau called to address my concerns with him being so professional, knowledgeable and polite. He then sent his technician Frank Smith the next day who was just as knowledgeable, professional and polite as him to complete the job at a reasonable price when other competitors were attempting to charge double. Metro Rooter has gained a customer for life and I would recommend anyone to utilize their services! Thank you guys again!

Chrissy Edmonds rated it 1/5: Do not use this company! I had an appointment scheduled and they said they would call the day before to give a time frame. I never got a call and had not heard anything from them the day of the appointment so I called them around 11 am. They said I was next up on the schedule and still no one showed. I called them again around 4 pm and they said they had tried to call me multiple times and got a full voicemail box, both of which were not true. Then they proceed to tell me that they would need to reschedule because they were at the last house of their day at 4 pm. When speaking with the office manager, she even had the audacity to sigh at me on the phone after I had gotten the day off work to be home for someone that never called and never showed. They are just not reliable.

As a follow-up, the company may need to get their facts straight. They tried to contact someone else multiple times because THEY had a wrong number and when they finally realized they made a mistake by reading my review wanted to see if there is anything they could do. I had everything taken care of by another reliable company that scheduled the appointment, called me the day before, and came when they said they would. So there is nothing more to talk about, I'm not interested.

Flamingo was very responsive, timely and knowledgeable about everything I needed. • Tyrice Earl rated it 5/5: Amazing customer service🙏🏽💯🙏🏽💯🙏🏽💯 The owner Scoot came out to my home personally due to the fact that I was close to closing and I wanted to have some concerns checked before purchasing the home. He came out and looked at my concerns, not only he had one of his amazing employees come out to do a full inspection, who also immaculate and amazing customer service. I owe it all to their beautiful receptionist Ms. Stephanie. I will use this company in this world, the next world, the world after, and refer them to the nation, go Gator, septic and flamingo septic. To conclude all that has been said and done thanks because you just can’t find humble customer service these days.

They did an excellent job of accommodating my situation and quickly resolving the matter for me. The team was quick, professional and efficient. Would use them again if I were in the St. Augustine area. Highly recommended.
  • joanne moore rated it 5/5: Chris was honest and truly a pleasure. I had a tree fall on my drain field and my house was backing up with water. Which caused me to have to drain my tank so it could be inspected. Chris was only supposed to provide an estimate for drain field but did so much more. He understood my issue of not being able to flush toilets take showers or run sinks without it backing up. He was determined to get me up and running and dug up tank only to find that the drain line to tank was bent and keeping water from entering tank. The smile on my face after he opened that pipe I can't even explain. Thank you for sending him. He truly cares for his customers and is great at doing his job. More people need to be like him. Thank you Chris finally I can put my shop vac to rest and back in the garage where it belongs.

  • Neil Blaser rated it 1/5: Over the past few years Wind River has bought up most of the local companies, including the one I used to use. The times I have used them since it was harder to get any work scheduled, but it wasn't bad enough that I felt the need to find someone else.

The workers were very professional and competent. As were the customer service reps who told me that sadly they couldnt schedule anything without the main office. They told me that the main office would contact me within 48 hours to schedule repairs, and that the main tank had enough capacity not to worry. After multiple followup calls they finally called me back 8 days after the initial work.

Of course, this delay means that the tank needs to be pumped a second time, which is certainly convenient for Wind River. But fortunately I was able to find a local company in the mean time who scheduled the work quickly and without having to try to go through customer service to reach someone.

I don't have proof that this was deliberate policy to run up the price rather than incompetence. But it sure does fit the evidence, and at the very least shows a complete lack of attention to the customer's needs. At least the money for the unnecessary second pump out will go to a company that I don't have to wonder about their honesty.

john williams rated it 2/5: Honest company? Called seven Jacksonville Fl., companies that do septic tank pump outs to get price quotes. The nice guy that answered the phone at All State Septic said it would be $400. I thanked him and said I was just checking for now and would maybe get back to him because I would be calling other companies prior to deciding whom to use based on price. He replied that most charge $425 and he only charged $400, so he was a good deal. I said I would call back if that was the case… Well, after calling the seven companies NONE of them charged over the $400 price he quoted and most were around $340 to $375. I ended up choosing one of the several that quoted $350.

  • Karina Steinman rated it 5/5: They did a Great job!! The employees were very professional and knowledgeable. The price was awesome. I called a few places before I hired this company. Prices were really high and they didn't have any available appointments for at least a week. David, the owner scheduled an appointment the same day. I hired another company to empty my septic tank 8 months ago and they never told me there was a problem. I hired this company this time and as soon as they open the lid, they knew there was something wrong. They installed a new drainfield in a few hours that will last me for years. Thanks!!! I will definitely recommend you
  • Kelly Heatwole rated it 5/5: I could not be happier with the work done by All State Septic! They repaired my septic tank drain field and rerouted my gray water lines. They were quick, courteous, and professional. They did what they promised and more. Their price was much better than anyone else I contacted. When David met with me to discuss the job, I was sure I had picked the right company. I would definitely recommend All State Septic to anyone needing these services. Thanks David and crew!!!!
  • Lisa Ray rated it 5/5: They were quick to make it out to my house to pump out my septic. Everyone else was days out or extremely expensive for an emergency service. The owner was very kind and helpful. The young gentleman that preformed the service was so efficient and professional. He was quick and made sure I didn’t have any other issues that could be the cause. I will definitely call them if needed and refer them to friends and family.
  • Tameshia Crockett rated it 5/5: Called several companies that weren't able to come out until next week which I needed someone to come today. The gentleman I spoke with was nice professional and assured service the same day. Thank you so much. They came out within an hour pump my septic tank. Thank you so much.

  • Patrick Kunkle rated it 5/5: I had Nolan Plumbing do a complete re-pipe on my house. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Wayne and his crew did an outstanding job! They re-piped my whole house starting from the water meter in. On the inside the house they used the Uponor pex system, which is the best pex system currently available. While performing the re-pipe, I also had them replace the hot water heater as well as add a whole house water filter and softener. Wayne and his crew were very courteous and respectful starting from the quote, when Wayne did a thorough walk through, to his crew laying down drop cloths when working, to performing a thorough vacuuming and cleaning when they were done. They were very flexible and accommodating with where I wanted things placed and came up with alternative solutions when needed, which was super helpful since I have a Norwegian brick house. The work they performed was top notch, they did an excellent job insulating the pipes and securing them to the trusses in the attic leaving everything clean and tidy so nothing would be in the way or hinder attic access. They did an amazing job bringing my 70s house plumbing into the 21st century. I highly recommend Wayne and his crew, and would not hesitate to hire Nolan Plumbing again for any additional plumbing or irrigation work.
  • Diane Cauthan rated it 5/5: Roz was amazing to work with. We had to have our septic system replaced. There were rain delays as well as access to our property but through it all she stayed in touch and kept us informed. Wayne and his crew were great. Once they could get access and the rain stopped they worked hard and had the job done in 3 days and did a great job. I would recommend highly!! Thank you!! Diane Cauthan
  • Seminole H 70 rated it 5/5: Nolan and crew, Including Roz in the office were professional and courteous. Our septic tank and drain field re build went timely and they cleaned up the site when they were finished. We will recommend when given the opportunity. Thanks Nolan Plumbing and Irrigation!
  • K Young rated it 5/5: Nolan Plumbing was awesome!
I had a busted irrigation pipe, I called and left a message. They got back to me that same day and we’re able to come out the next day.
They fixed the pipe and checked the rest of the system. They were able to replace a head that wasn’t rotating and cap off a head that I didn’t need to spray.
They also explained more about the system (I just bought the house and have no idea how it all works) so I understand more how manage it.
If I run into any more plumbing or irrigation issues in the future, I will be calling Nolan Plumbing again!
**UPDATE: Moved into a new home, our irrigation system was a total mess. So I knew exactly who to call. Now we are all set.
We also had plumbing issues so I asked them for help inside the house as well, I can not be happier. They are very quick to come out to your home, get the job done in a timely manner and done right!
It’s wonderful to have a company I know I can call if I need them.

  • Lee & Steve Hunt rated it 5/5: We had a problem with our septic system over the Labor Day holiday. We were contacted by the owner and he helped through a work around remedy to get us through the weekend. They responded early after the holiday, were very courteous and prompt. The repairs were effected early and at a fair price. Thank you
  • Ashley Hallmark rated it 1/5: I HAD TO GIVE A STAR TO POST THIS BUT THEY ARE ZERO STARS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! THEY ARE A SCAM!! I called a few companies for septic issues , we decided to go with gator/ flamingo septic . I called this company and left a message . The next day I spoke with Jim and told him his services weren’t needed anymore. I received a phone call 3/1 from a lady name summer stating I owe them 350$ for them coming to pump my septic tank. She was rude!! She stated she has been trying to call me and states they came on 2/9 to my home and pumped my tank. I asked her if anyone was home and she said no they rung the door bell but nobody answered . I also asked her how did they pump my tank without anyone home and I didn’t confirm them to come. She states that they came through my back yard and said she would send me an invoice . My husband and I informed her that we have cameras and funny enough I was home that day so they are more than welcome to look at the video footage . Summer informed my husband don’t worry about paying them it they are so busy . “Busy” yea scamming people. Needless to say she got caught in a lie and we have proof. BEWARE THEY ARE LIERS AND WILL SCAM YOU ! THE PHONE CALL I RECEIVED WAS ABSURD
  • Dennis Kennedy rated it 1/5: We hired this company to repair our drain field.
They came and quoted the job and set a date. After several missed appointments they recommended we have our septic tanks pumped out first. We agreed and paid them $1400 to do so. They were going to come back and repair the the drain field a few days later. This company won’t return to do the job that they were hired to do. So we looked up the qualifying person that runs this business and requested a meeting. Robert Lewis informed my wife if we came to their place of business that they would call the police on us, for what I’m not sure.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional in every aspect.
  • Karen R rated it 1/5: Do NOT use this company!! They are unprofessional, non-responsive and expensive. They made several apppointments to finish a job but never called or showed up. You see how they respond to negative reviews..yea, very telling of who & what you will be dealing with…
