According to the technician, they were only tasked to install the furnace and connect the pipes to the existing infrastructure which yeah that's fine most of the time… except in my case the exhaust vent ended in my attic so for a year I've been living in a home that's basically had the equivalent of a car running in it. I only noticed what was going on because my wife noticed some signs of water damage coming from the attic which prompted me to climb up there. It seems like a really simple situation that could have been avoided if the original installer just cared enough to QC their work.
If you are here then you probably don't know the ins and outs of these systems like me which is why I'd recommend going to a different company that cares about the quality of their work.

I was contacted later that day by Aksarben and was set to have my estimate that Monday morning. Chandler the estimator arrived and was very thorough with the recommendations for my new unit setting my appointment for later that day. Brady and Tyler the techs who replaced it, arrived on time and the job was completed within an hour and a half, taking the old unit with them. Both techs were competent and demonstrated the skills and training in the job they did. I might have paid a little more than average, but the results were worth it. Thanks Home Depot and Aksarben ARS for a job well done!

When another, smaller, problem arose recently, we called Aksarben to see if they could help us out. They certainly could, but also offered to take care of our sewer line at the same time to minimize just how many times our yard would get torn up for plumbing. The estimate process was fair and the work began quickly. Despite facing a couple of challenges during the work making things a little more difficult than initially anticipated, the bid price was honored. Damien and Eric's team made a stressful situation much less stressful and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and I truly believe treated us the way they would want to be treated. As a bonus, they were great with our dogs and with our toddler who had a blast watching all the work being done! We highly recommend their team.

Instead of going back to the main line and bringing over 3/4 inch line they tapped into the 1/2 feeding the water heater that was close by. All they did was replace the elbow with a T connection and run 10 ft of 1/2 in flex pipe through the floor, which I am not sure is even code? The valve behind the range was put in sloppy so the range won’t go all the way back to the wall. For this we waited 2 weeks they changed nearly $800 and were not here an hour?
I called their customer service and never got a call back. My wife and daughter were the ones here and both felt the techs complained a lot and would have done it right had a guy been there.

They scheduled me for a morning to 1pm window on the next day (Monday). The service rep wasn't able to make it until noon on Tuesday, but the dispatch called me twice on Monday to update me and let me know what's going on with them not being able to make it that day.
Pricing was transparent ($319/hr at time of writing before the $75 can discount), and it was fixed within the hour. Brad, my service rep, was super knowledgeable and definitely had my best interest in mind.

I called about 10am Friday and had an appointment at 12:00pm. WOW. Quick! Tyrone and John let me know 15 minutes out of their arrival and they were friendly, and got right down to business. They diagnosed, explained my options, and remedied the problem quickly. They found that a clean out pipe had never been accessed before (even though I had a different company hour just a year prior for a back up). They opened up a hole in the wall to access it and cleaned out decades worth of crud out of it. They let me know where I could find a door to purchase and cover the valve. Now, it will be easily accessible in the future. They cleaned up after they left, which is always appreciated. I am very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend them! There was a leak in the sprinkler system that needed to be repaired before selling the house and Ron was so understanding of the need for quick service. I recently got a patch job done for my standing shower along with new hardware installation. This was not an easy job, the shower is old and required cutting into dry wall to get to the interior plumbing. Dylan came out and was not only honest with his work but realistic with the results. Unfortunately, due to the age of the shower the patch did not set properly. This wasn't an issue for Dylan though, as he showed up again just a few days later and redid the whole project FREE OF CHARGE! Needless to say, this was a stellar service that went far beyond what I was expecting.

So, if you're in the market for a plumbing service I highly recommend these folks. You won't be disappointed.

Andrew Temple rated it 2/5: This services is great if you want to get something booked quickly online.. That’s where the greatness falls off. I reached out on a weekend for a stuck drain. Got online and booked it for the same day. Confirmed the appointment and the people showed up at the proposed time. That was the last time that happened. They worked to get the drain unclogged but couldn’t get it done because of how the pipes where installed by a previous owner. Ok, great. They told me they would call me on Monday to get their boss to come look at it. No call Monday. Finally a call on Tuesday and a scheduled time for the following day. Guy comes out, comes up with a plan and gets me a quote the same day to “fix” the previous pluming. I approved the quote and a new day and time was provided for them to come out and work on it. That day, no call during the scheduled time and they never showed. Tried calling the office got nothing. Finally they call me back hours after the scheduled time and can’t make it that day. Also can’t make it the following morning and needed to make the trip later in the day. At this point, I should have gone with another service. It nice they finally do show, they lumber around for two hours and finally tell me that the work their boss wanted them to do they can’t actually do. So they try the same thing they did the first time they came out. In the end I ended up paying way to much for absolutely no solution. If you want a cookie cutter company, go for this one. If you need actually want solutions that won’t cost you close to 10k, I would look around.
Brandie Fowler rated it 1/5: We used this company last year to clear our main line, so when it clogged again, we called them. A nice young man came out and cleared the line, gave us a coupon and told us we needed our main line replaced.
We then got an estimate for over $10,000. We asked that they honor this coupon, and that turned into an argument. We asked for a foreman to come out and discuss the project, and made an appointment for that. We were given a two hour window (10 to noon), so we missed a morning of work waiting for them to show-they never did, we called the company and the owner claimed he “tried to call this morning”, which was a lie-we all have iPhones and voice mail, so it was an easily verifiable lie at that.
The owner then said he would get in touch with the project manager. Maybe he did-we never heard from them again.
It was a blessing in disguise. The company we did hire was professional, prompt, courteous, and literally $4000 less. We recommend you hire someone else, too.

Their service tech Alex was fast, friendly, knowledgeable and got the problem taken care of in less than an hour. Price was more than fair for a weekend emergency call, half of what I was expecting. hlndhusker1 rated it 5/5: I have nothing but good things to say about this company. First of all it was New Years Eve and guests were showing up for dinner when we realized that we have a problem. I immediately called our HVAC Contractor who we have a service contract with. This company who happened to do some work on the pipe weeks prior that was spraying all over my utility room. After calling their emergency after hours answering service and waiting 40 minutes for a call back, the gentleman at the other end used every excuse to not send someone out because of the holiday. He simply said since the water leak is slowing , it will eventually stop after shutting off the hot water heater. My only option is to call the office on Tuesday to set up a service call. No hot water for three days?
Not Acceptable!
Becklund Pluming came to the rescue! They were courteous and set up my appointment for 8am the next morning. The technician was was on time, knowledgeable, and got our repair done in a timely manner. He was apologetic for holiday rates, but got the job done quickly and afterwards showed me his quality work. We were very thankful for Backlund Plumbing as they restored our issue and we had hot water within 20 hours after discovering the water issue.

The worker crawled into my crawl space and found disconnected pipes. Great! Found. They came back and connected the pipes. I thought fantastic. NOT! The methane smells is still there. They came out per my request to SNAKE my drains! THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. He added water to the p traps! I Called again actually text because they don’t answer the phone and said it still isn’t fixed, you didn’t snake the drains! Reply we can come back for another fee! This is 900$ later! They tell you the fee is 150$ an hour try 220$ and no results!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE CRYING MORE!

We offered him a cash tip, but he wouldn't accept it, he just responded by saying,that's are integrity to work hard and make the customer happy, all we have to say about this company is, GREAT WORK.. AWESOME EMPLOYEE, JOB VERY WELL DONE, AND WE NOW HAVE YOU ON OUR SPEED DIAL.

My building manager got them to fix my kitchen sink. It was a work day so I came in 15 minutes before the guy so that I can open my apartment and I left to go back to work before he came.
I came back about 15-20 minutes after the guy left, the kitchen sink was fixed, but I noticed something weird in the bathroom, someone had been in my bathroom, left the toilet seat up and used the towel I use for my body to clean up something they spilled on the floor, I called the guy and of course he denied it.
When I called a second time, the guy confirmed that no one else had come into my apartment and I returned shortly after he left.

I know my toilet seat didn’t lift itself up, and the towel didn’t just magically fall on the floor and magically soak up some liquid, because I hung a smaller towel on top of it and that one was roughly tucked into the towel holder, while the other one was on the floor. If the towel fell, the one on top should’ve also fallen. Also there was no leakage of any form on the floor of my bathroom so where did the liquid come from? I used the bathroom before I went back to work so I know that’s not how I left it.
I found the whole ordeal very disgusting and disturbing.
Sandeep Borwal rated it 1/5: I took the quotation for pipeline and i got an estimate of 1260 (as per him it will be done in 700 to 800 )but he said i am estimating extra for any problems we face and in any condition the bill will not be more than 1260 in any case .
After work was done they gave bill of 1800$.I said ill take to the manager and she was very rude and said they cannot do anything you have to pay or they will take out everything they installed and wont make it as it it was before .
They are not professional –>
1) for each T or pipes they would go to Menards every hour and bring only one pipe or things. Then after another hour they will again go to Menards to buy same thing .This will happen whole day.
2)They did not glue the pipes. Luckily before starting water we observed it and saved some time and they had to apply glue to fix pipes.
3)They would say some parts are not present and roam about for 2-3 hours and say its not available any place around.
4)All plan was discussed how it has to be done but they will say its not discussed, so please write that down in estimated. They will never write in estimates and later on they will blow your bill 50-60%.
5)whole day they will be fighting with each other and pass hours.

Neither the manager nor employees will help you and threaten you for the extra money. They would say we had to but some extra stuffs and the money is for it .if you ask items added extra they will threaten you and say you need to pay any how else collections team will collect it. He also threaten to taken out some parts of pipelines and say if you don't pay we will not start water supply.

Please be aware of this company and plan to have 60-70% bill rise above the estimates. The company is so cheap they would buy pipes and t's only one piece at a time and go every hour to Menards to buy another one.

Cory showed up earlier than expected, was professional, explained what he was doing, cleaned up thoroughly when done. Cost for service was reasonable, and I will use Southside Plumbing when needed in the future.

After 7 unsuccessful attempts to clear the drain I was told his boss said they would have to have a specialist come and install a clean out for the kitchen pipes. I called a plumber and he came to house and said there was probably already a clean out for the kitchen drain. Sure enough it was behind drywall that the previous owners had installed. I called Southside plumbing and they said a drain cleaner would arrive between 8-12 the next day to finish cleaning the drain. That day at 2 pm I called and was told they wouldn’t be coming because they were still working on a drain from that morning. The boss got on the phone and didn’t like that I was disgusted with them for not notifying me that they weren’t coming and hung up on me. When I called back he told me to find someone else, that they wouldn’t send anybody else to my house. $240 later I still don’t have a clean drain. Southside takes your money with NO GUARANTEE!! Don’t use them – if any problems arise that they can’t fix – they take your money and run!

Bryce Anderson rated it 5/5: Fernando was outstanding. During a very busy time he was responsive, prepared and knowledgeable. He was able to fix a leak in an awkward spot effortlessly. Price was right and fair. We will definitely use him again once his busy season slows down (if that’s a thing) for other projects around the house.
